Slithering Snakes

Sunday, August 03, 2008, 1:50 a.m. – I woke to this song:

I also woke from a dream but I did not remember it but then while awake I had A VISION: I saw an orange and black striped slithering snake going behind something. Then I saw hands throwing bubbles up into the air and then more slithering snakes and then a jet stream on a weather map. END

Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Isaiah 21:11-12; 22:1-14:

An oracle concerning Dumah :
Someone calls to me from Seir,
"Watchman, what is left of the night?
Watchman, what is left of the night?"
12 The watchman replies,
"Morning is coming, but also the night.
If you would ask, then ask;
and come back yet again."

A Prophecy About Jerusalem
1 An oracle concerning the Valley of Vision:
What troubles you now,
that you have all gone up on the roofs,
2 O town full of commotion,
O city of tumult and revelry?
Your slain were not killed by the sword,
nor did they die in battle.

3 All your leaders have fled together;
they have been captured without using the bow.
All you who were caught were taken prisoner together,
having fled while the enemy was still far away.

4 Therefore I said, "Turn away from me;
let me weep bitterly.
Do not try to console me
over the destruction of my people."

5 The Lord, the LORD Almighty, has a day
of tumult and trampling and terror
in the Valley of Vision,
a day of battering down walls
and of crying out to the mountains.

6 Elam takes up the quiver,
with her charioteers and horses;
Kir uncovers the shield.

7 Your choicest valleys are full of chariots,
and horsemen are posted at the city gates;

8 the defenses of Judah are stripped away.
And you looked in that day
to the weapons in the Palace of the Forest;

9 you saw that the City of David
had many breaches in its defenses;
you stored up water
in the Lower Pool.

10 You counted the buildings in Jerusalem
and tore down houses to strengthen the wall.

11 You built a reservoir between the two walls
for the water of the Old Pool,
but you did not look to the One who made it,
or have regard for the One who planned it long ago.

12 The Lord, the LORD Almighty,
called you on that day
to weep and to wail,
to tear out your hair and put on sackcloth.

13 But see, there is joy and revelry,
slaughtering of cattle and killing of sheep,
eating of meat and drinking of wine!
"Let us eat and drink," you say,
"for tomorrow we die!"

14 The LORD Almighty has revealed this in my hearing: "Till your dying day this sin will not be atoned for," says the Lord, the LORD Almighty.

My Understanding: Yesterday I was sensing that the dreams and visions of the past three days were all connected so I prayed for direction. I inquired of the Lord concerning some possible interpretations and asked that he help me to understand. I believe the vision and scriptures this morning were my answer.

First of all, the vision began with a slithering black and orange striped snake. The idea of a snake and black together symbolizes some form of evil presence and the orange color represents a warning of danger. The snake is hiding behind something so there is something secretive (sneaky) going on behind the scenes.

Then there were hands throwing bubbles up in the air followed by more snakes and then a jet stream on a weather map which looks like slithering snakes. I have a strong sense that the bubbles being thrown into the air represent weather manipulation. I have read that China, Russia and the USA have the technology for manipulating the weather and I suspect that this article may be about that:

In yesterday’s dream I was suffering from a sinus headache and someone gave me 4 Ibuprofen and 2 sinus pills but I gave back 2 of the Ibuprofen. If the above story is one of weather manipulation then someone gave China some “Ibuprofen and sinus pills” in order to alleviate the smog and severe weather symptoms that were hindering the games from beginning and to give them a day of sunshine.

In Thursday’s writing a blackbird came down to snap off the nose of the maid. The nose is associated directly with the sinuses…

Ok, in the oracle in Isaiah 21 the watchman states that morning is coming, but also the night. The Bible Knowledge Commentary states: “Was there any chance Edom’s political situation would change? The answer was no, not immediately. Even though morning was coming, another night would follow. It did not look as if the situation would change soon.”

Then, in Isaiah 22 we have a prophecy about Jerusalem. In relation to this vision the Lord has given to me in combination with this scripture, what I see is the Lord is showing me destruction from an enemy, but not in battle. This would fit with weather manipulation. An enemy could manipulate the weather from afar and could cause much destruction without evidence of who caused the damage and without direct confrontation with the enemy forces.

The next part is the most important part of the passage of scripture, I believe, and that is the Lord is saying here that even in the face of destruction and enemy forces, still the people looked to human means, i.e. to their own resources in order to fight off the enemy and they still did not look to their Maker who had all this planned long ago. The reason the Lord brought this about was to bring the people to the place of repentance, but they kept eating and drinking just like they did in the days of Noah right before the flood.

In conclusion, I believe that the Lord is revealing that a country is going to use weather manipulation against another country as a means of attacking that country, i.e. their enemy, that this is something that is being done in secret, it is evil, but that God had it planned long ago as a means of bringing his people to their knees in humility and repentance and to return them to their One and Only God and Maker of heaven and earth.

The choice is ours how we will respond. Will we be like the people mentioned in this passage of scripture who did not turn to their Maker but who continued in revelry and eating and drinking? Or will this bring us to our knees in humility, faith and repentance as God intended? That really is the bottom line.
