Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

Impurity

Monday, December 30, 2013, 12:46 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with the song “Courageous” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 18 (NIV).

After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. With a mighty voice he shouted:

“‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’
    She has become a dwelling for demons
and a haunt for every impure spirit,
    a haunt for every unclean bird,
    a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.
For all the nations have drunk
    the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
    and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”
Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

“‘Come out of her, my people,’
    so that you will not share in her sins,
    so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
for her sins are piled up to heaven,
    and God has remembered her crimes.
Give back to her as she has given;
    pay her back double for what she has done.
    Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
Give her as much torment and grief
    as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
    ‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
    I will never mourn.’
Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
    death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
    for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
“When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:

… By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people,
    of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

Babylon Today

Babylon was a real place that existed long ago. Yet, I believe this passage of scripture is speaking of a real modern physical location which will be judged by God in the end of time. Still, Babylon has also come to symbolize the world’s system of evil from which God’s people are to come out and be separate and to touch no unclean thing. We are not to be partakers in this sinful world, we are not to be on friendly terms with this sinful world, and we are not to be yoked together in agreement with those who choose not to believe in Jesus Christ, for scripture teaches us that there is no fellowship between light and darkness. This also means that we should not allow ourselves to be entertained by this sinful world via movies, TV, the internet, etc., for even by watching it for entertainment purposes we are participating in this world of evil and are standing in agreement with it by our entertainment choices.

Every Impure Spirit

Wow! Where to begin? The 20th - 21st Centuries have certainly given us so many more options to choose from for how to fulfill our sinful and lustful desires. Sin has not changed, and God has not changed his definition of what constitutes sin and impurity in his eyes, yet the whole world of evil is now available to us in the privacy of our homes, at our fingertips, with the move of an electronic mouse or the stroke of our fingers or the push of a button, which then can take us just about any place our sinful hearts desire.

With the ample supply of cable and satellite TV, the internet, Social media sites, smart phones, tablets and laptop computers, from the comfort of our own homes we can walk into a strip club, participate in all kinds of seductive spirits and abominations, go to houses of ill repute, be involved in romantic and/or sexual affairs, go into “adult” book and video stores, and view dirty magazines, etc., much of which we would never do if it were not for the convenience, easy access and privacy involved in having such ready access to all these things in one single and private location – our homes.

I think sometimes we fool ourselves into thinking some of these things are innocent fun or acceptable means of entertainment and that no one gets hurt. I know I used to do that. Oh, how wrong! Someone always gets hurt, even if it is just ourselves, but we impact more people than just ourselves. You may or may not be able to imagine here the number of times I have read or heard about those who profess Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives telling about a movie he or she watched which contained impurity of some kind, and then excuse it away by saying, “Well, there is only a little bit of bad in it, but the rest is good.” I used to do that, too. So, I know. That is like saying it is ok to have just a little bit of poop in your brownie. Would that be ok with you? Or it is a lot like saying, “Well, it is just a little bit illegal,” or, “It is a white lie.” We can’t dress it up and make it ok. Either it is sinful or it is not sinful, and if it is sinful, then we should not participate in it in any shape or form, or amount. God said we are to come out and be separate and to touch NO unclean thing!

Adultery

As well, there does not have to be actual physical contact for adultery to take place. Jesus Christ said that if we lust after another person that we have already committed adultery (or fornication) with him or her in our hearts. In reality, sin begins in our hearts before we ever end up acting it out in real life. When we entertain sin in our minds, or rather we are entertained by sin, we have given Satan an opening into our lives to tempt us to take it the next level up. The reality is that people get bored with their level of sin, and so they take it up a notch, then another and another because they are looking to sin to bring some type of fulfillment in their lives, but it will only leave them empty, unfulfilled, ruined, and craving for more. If we entertain our minds with images of adultery, romantic affairs (extramarital), sex outside of marriage, et al, then we are more likely to end up looking for ways we can fulfill these passions and desires in real life with real people. It never ends well.

Pornography and Addiction

Pornography gives its victims a euphoric high which replaces true love and intimacy in real human relationships. Many who once get a taste go back for more and it often turns into addiction. For the addict to now keep his or her addiction going, added to the porn is now the lies that must be told in order to protect the person's secret life, no matter who gets hurt in the process. So it is no longer just the people looking at the porn who are getting hurt, or just those who for whatever reason found themselves trapped in the industry itself, but it is the people closest to the addict who also suffer the abuse of the addict, in sexual abuse, the cheating, all the lies, and even outbursts of anger and hatred and false blame directed toward the innocent in order to protect the secrets of the addict. It is thus a killer on multiple levels, for it kills true intimacy and destroys individual lives, families and marriages. My heart cries at the thought of so many children potentially going down that same path and it destroying their lives because they have been handed smart phones and tablets (IPads) either with no parental controls or with false security that can be broken.

There is hope, though. Jesus Christ came to set us free, and through him we can be delivered of the chains that once bound us. Amen! And I believe that through prayer and the exercise of godly wisdom and also being willing to talk about these things like this without fear that we can make conscious efforts to protect our children so that they don't end up going down that path, too. We just have to get serious about this and be willing to take whatever steps may be necessary to rid our lives of what is holding us captive to the devil’s will for our lives, and to allow Jesus Christ to truly have Lordship of our lives. Amen!

Courageous! / An Original Work / December 24, 2013

Based off Various Scriptures

The Word of God throughout taught.
Some people heard, but did doubt.
Still others had faith in Christ.
By grace He purified them.

They turned from sin
And they obeyed Christ.
He opened up their blinded eyesight;
Turned them from darkness
To the true Light;
Forgave their sin by His might.

He strengthened them in their faith.
He said, “Remain my faithful.”
He called them to obedience.
By faith, they were so grateful.

By faith, they were to follow Jesus;
To daily sit and listen to Him;
To have such faith that
Mountains could move;
To love those whom He gave them.

Be on your guard; courageous.
Stand firm in faith. Be thankful.
Take up the shield of your faith;
Protect against all evil.

Do not move from
The hope that you have.
Your faith in Jesus let it endure.
Hold to the truth;
Your conscience be clear.
Endure with perseverance.

Praise Be Told!

Jesus Christ, God the Son, came to earth, took on human flesh, suffered as we suffer, and was tempted as we are tempted, yet without sin. He was despised, rejected, persecuted, abandoned, denied, betrayed, beaten, mocked and killed, although he had done no wrong. God made him who knew no sin to be sin for us so that we might be saved from sin and have eternal life with Him in glory. Jesus crucified and buried our sin with him, and then he rose from the dead in victory over Satan, death, hell and sin. He did this so that you and I might be free from sin, spiritually healed, freed to walk in his holiness and righteousness, and freed from eternal punishment in hell.

We can do nothing to earn or to deserve such a great salvation. It is a free gift to us by God’s grace through our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives. Yet, he did this so that we might die to our sin and live for his righteousness. The grace of God teaches us to say “No to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age (Titus 2:12). Jesus Christ, by His Spirit within us, will counsel, direct, guide and instruct us in the way of Christ’s righteousness, as well as he will empower and equip us, and he will give us all we need to live upright and godly lives. As well, because he loves us, he regularly disciplines us for our good, to mature us in our walks of faith, to teach us perseverance, and to draw us close to him, yet he will also heal. Amen!

Praise Be Told! / An Original Work / December 28, 2013

Based off Various Scriptures

He was pierced for our transgressions.
He was crushed for all our sin.
Our chastisement was upon Him.
By His stripes, we now are healed.

He has witnessed all our trials,
And the sins we choose to wear.
Yet, while we were dead in our sin,
Jesus died, our sins to bear.

He himself bore all of our sins
In His body on a cross,
So that we might die to our sin,
And live for His righteousness.

By faith in the pow’r of Jesus
And His blood shed for our sins,
We can be forgiven our sin,
And have life with God in heav’n.

He will lead us and He’ll guide us
In the way that we should go.
He will comfort and protect us,
Because Jesus, we do know.

Though He disciplines for our good,
He will heal us – Praise be told!
Do not fear, your Lord is with you.
Just have faith in Christ your Lord.

Patient Endurance

Friday, December 27, 2013, 7:23 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with this song:

He Was Despised / Handel (From “The Messiah”)

He was despised and rejected of men;
A man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief… (From: Is. 53:3).

He gave His back to the smiters,
And His cheeks to them that plucked off the hair:
He hid not His face from shame and spitting (From: Is. 50:6).

Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 14:1-13 (NIV).

The Redeemed

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

The Lamb is Jesus Christ, who was slain for lost sinners, in order that we might go free from our slavery to sin and have eternal life with God in glory. Mount Zion is the City of God, the New Jerusalem, the church (temple) of the Living God, the body of Christ; the kingdom of heaven. Jesus Christ, the Lamb who took away the sins of the world, is standing with the redeemed of the Lord, whose names have been written in the Lamb’s book of Life. He is with us, supporting, strengthening, and encouraging us in our faith, and in these trials we face and are yet to face here on the earth. He will never leave us or forsake us. These who have the Father’s name written on their foreheads are the chosen people of God; those who have been set apart for and consecrated to God and to his service, called to be holy, who have been cleansed of their sins, made right with God via the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins; the faithful servants of Christ, separated from the world, and purified by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes, i.e. they are his servants and witnesses.

We, who hope in Christ, even though our bodies will see decay, have the promise of resurrected bodies and life eternal with our Lord in heaven. Amen! Only the truly redeemed can sing such a great song of salvation as this.

The Gospel

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

In today’s modern world a different gospel from the one taught by Jesus and the apostles has gained much popularity among people of many faiths, and has even gained respect among those with no faith at all, for it teaches a Jesus whose life could be characterized mainly by the good works he did in healing the sick, lifting up the fallen, feeding the hungry and caring for the needy. This Jesus they teach is inclusive of other faiths and tolerant of sinful acts and practices, and makes no advance toward trying to win others to faith in Jesus Christ. He does not confront sin, nor does he call for repentance, for that is considered intolerant, and even hateful. He mixes with the world of sin, with pagan religions, and does all he can to make people feel good about themselves no matter what they believe or how they are living their lives. He teaches that all people are children of God, and that God is within each and every one of us, which would mean that we are all going to heaven.

Yet, this modern gospel is not the gospel being proclaimed here by the angel of God, which is the gospel taught in the word of God (of truth). This gospel proclaimed by the angel teaches that we must have the fear (awe, honor, respect, and worship) of God. This means to reverence, esteem, and to treat God with submissiveness or humble obedience. In other words, this means to accept his words (his truths) into our lives, to believe what he says, and to act upon that belief in his power and strength within us, by faith. It means to follow Jesus Christ in all that he teaches us, and not just in the things that make us feel good about him and/or about each other. This true gospel not only proclaims our great salvation via God’s grace and Jesus’ sacrifice for sins, but it also teaches that faith in Christ means dying to sin and self, and it means living for God and walking and living in his righteousness - all the working of the Spirit of God within us as we yield to his control in our lives.

To give God the glory not only means to give him the credit and the praise for what he has done in our hearts and lives, but it means that we honor, value and esteem him by our very lives, in our submission, obedience, surrender, love, worship, and in living holy lives, pleasing to him, no longer conformed to the ways of this sinful world, but transformed in the renewing of our minds by the Spirit of God who works in us the will of God, as we allow him to do his work. The best description I know of how we best worship God is given to us in Romans 12:1-2 where it tells us to present our lives as living sacrifices to God, holy and pleasing to him, which is our reasonable service of worship to him. Worship is not just something we do on a Sunday morning in a “worship service” when we raise our voices in song to God, though certainly that is a very important aspect of our worship. Yet, if all we are giving is lip service only, that is not true worship. True worship is the surrender of our lives to Jesus Christ to follow him wherever he leads us, and to do what he says to do.

Judgment and Mercy

A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

Many people like to forget that judgment is also part of the gospel, yet we are saved by God’s grace, not only from slavery to sin, and to walk in Christ’s righteousness and holiness, but we are saved from the pit of hell via his grace and through our faith in him. Because of what Jesus Christ did in dying on the cross for our sins, and because of our faith in him, we will no longer face the judgment of eternal punishment in hell, but we will have the glorious reward of eternity in heaven with God. Amen! Yet, for those who refuse Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives, which includes those who make profession of him, but whose hearts are far from him, only eternal punishment awaits them. There is no escaping this. This is the reality of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Unless you submit to Jesus Christ by faith and give him your life, you will NOT spend eternity with God in heaven, no matter how good you are, or no matter what people have told you to the contrary. Yet, not only is there the judgment of eternity in hell that awaits you, but there is also a time of judgment on this earth prior to the very end, during which time God will pour out his wrath on the people of the earth.

Yet, for those of us who have given our hearts to Jesus Christ, who have been cleansed of our sins, and who have submitted to his Lordship over our lives, and who follow the Lamb everywhere he leads us, we are certainly not promised a “rose garden.” In fact, we are promised that we will be hated, persecuted, and even killed for our faith in Jesus and for our testimony for Christ and his gospel of salvation. And, in this day and age, the persecution and killing of Christ’s followers and witnesses is drastically increasing in severity.

I read in the news yesterday about the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014 which President Obama just now signed into law. Some of this law has been in effect since 2012, “authorizing the military, under presidential authority, to arrest, kidnap, and detain without trial, and held indefinitely, American citizens thought to ‘represent an enduring security threat to the United States,’” [1] stripping American citizens of their Bill of Rights. The definition of who or what is a terrorist (or terrorism) is very loosely defined in this bill, and can easily be adapted to fit anyone the government wishes it to fit, including myself and many of you. From what I understand, “Evangelical Christians” are ranked high on the government’s list of potential terrorist threats, because they are considered “extremists,” i.e. we preach the true gospel of salvation as was taught by Jesus and the apostles. There is a new addition to this law, which is the “Conflict Records Research Center,” which evidently keeps videos, emails, text messages; social media site posts, telephone conversations, pictures, etc. on each person of interest, or perhaps on every U.S. citizen, to be used against us, it appears. We no longer live in the home of the free and land of the brave.

The Lord Jesus keeps showing me that the U.S. government and their “New World Order” allies are setting up this rule of the beast, and that they are purposefully targeting followers of Christ for persecution and for extinction. They are in the process of labeling evangelical Christians as terrorists, and are going after them full force. They appear to be especially concerned with putting a stop to the spreading of the gospel and the spread of new followers of Christ throughout the world. They are putting the “heat” on them. I believe this NDAA 2014 is a crucial instrument in this labeling of “terrorists” for planned persecution, imprisonment and eventual extinction, and Obama has the authority to carry it out, completely stripping Americans of their rights as U.S. citizens. Yet, this is global, so there must be a global version of this NDAA, which is basically the “Deal with the Devil,” i.e. this New Deal with the New World Order, giving the beast complete rule and reign over all nations and peoples of the earth. And, by this document, I can now be arrested and even killed just because I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Yet, I have no cause to fear, for I know my Redeemer lives, that he will sustain me, uphold me, be with me, give me courage and strength, and that one day soon he will take me to be with him forever. Amen!

I Know That My Redeemer Liveth / Handel (From “The Messiah”)

I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day
upon the earth. And though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall
I see God. (Job 19:25-26)

For now is Christ risen from the dead; the first fruits of them that
sleep. (I Corinthians 15:20)

The Two Beasts

Thursday, December 26, 2013, 4:04 a.m. – The Lord Jesus woke me with this song:

He Was Despised / Handel (From: “The Messiah”)

He was despised and rejected of men;
A man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief… (From: Is. 53:3).

He gave His back to the smiters,
And His cheeks to them that plucked off the hair:
He hid not His face from shame and spitting (From: Is. 50:6).

Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 13 (NIV).

The Beast Out of the Sea

The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

Whoever has ears, let them hear.

“If anyone is to go into captivity,
    into captivity they will go.
If anyone is to be killed with the sword,
    with the sword they will be killed.”
This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

Matthew Henry described the beast as “a tyrannical, idolatrous, persecuting power, springing up out of the troubles which took place. It was a frightful monster! It appears to mean that worldly, oppressing dominion, which for many ages, even from the times of the Babylonish captivity, had been hostile to the church.” The Pulpit Commentary says this about the sea: “The sea, again, is the type of instability, confusion, and commotion, frequently signifying the ungovernable nations of the earth in opposition to the Church of God.” And, it says this about the beast: “It is the power of the world which is directed towards the persecution of Christians.” It says this about the seven heads: “The seven, heads, therefore, are symbolical of universal dominion.” And, this about the ten horns: “The ten horns, therefore, denote plenitude of power.” http://biblehub.com/revelation/13-1.htm

The Pulpit Commentary concluded about the ten horns and seven heads: “The words of this passage thus signify that the beast should possess worldwide dominion and ample power.” In other words, this is speaking of this New World Order Beast which is presently at work in the world doing the very things described here in this 13th chapter of Revelation. The Lord Jesus has often depicted for me that this New World Order is a revival of an old order (a former empire engulfing the nations and peoples of the world, such as the German Empire, the Persian Empire, or the Roman Empire, et al). Presently he has been showing this to me as a revival of the German Empire (including the Kingdom of Prussia) of the 19th-20th Centuries, including a Prussianized military (privatized military police force), the likes of Hitler’s regime, only worldwide (global).

This New World Order Beast is presently forming its kingdom via forced compliance of the nations and peoples of the world to the N.W.O. (alias International Community). It utilizes such tactics as false flag operations, i.e. the casting of blame on other people and nations for what the US/N.W.O. is actually doing around the globe; and for the specific purpose to deceive the people of the world, in particular us in America, into thinking that all these nations with uprisings, for instance, are all the work of these individual nations. Think with me for a moment. What are the chances that all these various nations across the globe with uprisings, coups and government takeovers all just happened to naturally come one after another after another via the people of those individual nations? If you have followed these news articles over the past few years, you will find the stories to be nearly carbon copies of one another. In each situation, there are two sides to the conflict: pro-government and anti-government forces. They can’t resolve their differences, so there is an uprising, with an attempted or successful coup. Thus, the “International Community” steps into the situation as “savior,” and offers help either in taking down the present government and/or in establishing a new “transitional government,” i.e. transitional to the N.W.O., that is.

The Lord Jesus has been showing me for some time that this New World Order Beast (U.S. + allies) is targeting those who hold to the true testimony of Jesus Christ, and who share (proselytize; preach) the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ for the sole purpose of trying to win other people to faith in Jesus Christ. The Beast is not completely against the church, i.e. I believe much of the institutional church is part of this beast. As well, it may not be against those who merely call themselves Christians, as a whole, for not all who call themselves Christian are true followers of Jesus Christ. It is against God’s holy people, his saints, i.e. those who truly know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives, and is especially against those who hold to the gospel taught by Jesus and the apostles. So, it has convinced the church, largely, to change the gospel to make it more palatable, comfortable and pleasing to humankind, and to persecute all those who still believe and teach the truth. And, this is happening, not just in foreign nations, but within the U.S.A., too. We just haven’t faced the kind of severe persecution and death for our faith, yet, as those people in other nations.

The Beast Out of the Earth

Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Matthew Henry said, concerning this second beast: “Those who understand the first beast to denote a worldly power, take the second to be also a persecuting and assumed power, which acts under the disguise of religion, and of charity to the souls of men. It is a spiritual dominion, professing to be derived from Christ, and exercised at first in a gentle manner, but soon spake like the dragon. Its speech betrayed it; for it gives forth those false doctrines and cruel decrees, which show it to belong to the dragon, and not to the Lamb. It exercised all the power of the former beast. It pursues the same design, to draw men from worshipping the true God, and to subject the souls of men to the will and control of men. The second beast has carried on its designs, by methods whereby men should be deceived to worship the former beast, in the new shape, or likeness made for it.”

The Pulpit Commentary says this with regard to the second beast: “Compare the wording of this introduction with that of verse one. We shall find reason to interpret this beast as self- deceit - that form of plausibility by which men persuaded themselves into a belief that they might without harm worship the former beast… And he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. That is, while simulating an appearance of Christ, his words betrayed his devilish nature. The aim of this beast throughout is to assume a plausible exterior, that men may be beguiled by him (cf. vs. 13-17). Such is the nature of that self-deceit which we believe this beast to typify. Many men, who were not to be tempted into a renunciation of Christ by the bitter persecution of the first beast, because coming in such a form they recognized easily its true nature, were nevertheless beguiled into such acts by specious reasoning and the deceit of their own hearts. Christians at all times are only too ready to be deceived by those who ‘by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple’ (Romans 16:18).” http://biblehub.com/revelation/13-11.htm

Wow! That says it!! An image is a likeness, copy, appearance, or a façade. This is about deception, i.e. it is about giving an appearance of one thing while the truth is purposefully hidden or withheld. I believe very much so that is what the Lord Jesus has been showing me concerning our government (+ allies), and concerning the institutional church, and this for these past seven + years in which he has been having me write out what he teaches me each day from his word, and in giving it to a “runner,” i.e. the internet, to “run with it” (See Hab. 2:2-3). Deception abounds via this New World Order (government + church).

I believe the “voice” of the façade of this New World Order (International Community) has primarily been Obama, the government-controlled media, and the institutional church, though I see Obama as the one threatening the destruction of peoples who will not bow to this Beast. Obama claims to be a Christian, and yet many of his words and declared beliefs stand in direct opposition to the teachings of scripture and of Christ. He claims that he and his wife “draw lessons from the birth and life of Jesus,” yet the setting is very ecumenical, which Jesus definitely was not! Obama brings the religions of the world together, including Jesus Christ in this, and teaches that Jesus sets an example for us in the context of the disregarding of differences of particular faiths, and of a “feel good” “let’s all get along and join hands together and become better people, neighbors and citizens” approach. Jesus Christ definitely taught caring for the truly needy, and he taught love over hate, but he did not teach a blending of religions or “let’s do what makes everybody feel good.”

The New World Order Pope Francis is a new voice of this N.W.O. Beast, as he also works “to draw men from worshipping the true God, and to subject the souls of men to the will and control of men.” He also claims to be following the Jesus of the Bible, and yet he also teaches an ecumenical (promoting of friendly relations between different religions – Encarta) approach to following Jesus’ example for how to live and to love others. Obama and the Pope get some things right, i.e. Jesus did heal the sick, and he taught love in place of hate, and he cared for the sick, injured, oppressed and needy, and it is true that we should follow Christ’s example in this. Yet, Jesus was not hung on a cross to die because he was a religious pacifist who compromised his beliefs in order to “win friends and influence people” or to make people feel good about themselves. He said he did not come to bring peace but a sword, and to turn family members against one another, not in hatred, but by the very fact that the sword of the Spirit, the word of God (of truth) is an offense to the unbeliever, and thus those who follow Jesus Christ will be hated, rejected, despised and even killed for their faith in Jesus Christ, and even by those within our own families, and within the institutional church, and this is what this chapter 13 of Revelation is about.

Based off Various Scriptures

The Word of God throughout taught.
Some people heard, but did doubt.
Still others had faith in Christ.
By grace He purified them.

They turned from sin
And they obeyed Christ.
He opened up their blinded eyesight;
Turned them from darkness
To the true Light;
Forgave their sin by His might.

He strengthened them in their faith.
He said, “Remain my faithful.”
He called them to obedience.
By faith, they were so grateful.

By faith, they were to follow Jesus;
To daily sit and listen to Him;
To have such faith that
Could move mountains;
To love those whom He gave them.

Be on your guard; courageous.
Stand firm in faith. Be thankful.
Take up the shield of your faith;
Protect against all evil.

Do not move from
The hope that you have.
Continue in your faith in Jesus.
Hold to the truth
With a clear conscience.
Endure with perseverance.

COURAGEOUS!

Jesus Christ, God the Son, came to earth, took on human flesh, suffered as we suffer, and was tempted as we are tempted, yet without sin. He was despised and rejected of humankind, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering. He was crucified on a cross, although he had done no wrong. When he died, he crucified our sins with him, burying them with him. Then he rose from the dead, triumphant over hell, Satan, death and sin. He did all of this for the people of the world because he loves us so very much.

He was our sacrificial Lamb who shed his blood on a cross so we could be free from slavery to sin, free to walk in his righteousness and holiness, and so we could have eternal life with him in glory. All this is ours when we receive Jesus Christ’s invitation to his great salvation by faith in him, via turning from our lives of living for self and sin, by being transformed in heart and mind of the Spirit of God, and by turning to God in humility, submission and surrender to his divine will and purpose for our lives. All this is the working of the Spirit of God in our lives as we yield the control of our lives over to him.

They Will Trample

Monday, December 23, 2013, 8:25 a.m. – As I was waking up this morning, the Lord Jesus put the song “Songs in the Night” in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 11 (NIV).

Preface: I am no Biblical scholar when it comes to deciphering the symbology contained within this book. I have studied it many times, and have found there are numerous and varied interpretations of what God/Jesus Christ meant when he gave these words to John to write. So, I must rely upon the witness of the Holy Spirit within me, as should we all, to give me what understanding he wants me to have from these writings, and to trust the Lord Jesus, by his Spirit, to teach me what he wants me to learn and to share with others. I will say upfront that my understanding of the timing of these events, although I make no claims here to having all the answers, is of a post-tribulation rapture belief. Yet, I see no value in debating that particular subject, because Christ will come when he will come, and I’m ok with whatever he has planned. The reality is that he will do what he has planned no matter how good our arguments may be to the contrary.

A Measuring Rod

I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.” If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. ~ vv. 1-6

I see no Biblical basis for the teaching that says that before these events take place, that the church will be raptured, and that God will go back to the old covenant relationship with his people, or that he will institute a third covenant, and/or that he will once again inhabit a physical temple in a singular physical location. I see total congruity in scripture from the birth of Christ to his second coming, meaning that Jesus Christ is the temple of God, and as his followers we are his body, so we are his temple, and the Spirit of God dwells within us. All people must be born of the Spirit of God if they want to have eternal life, so the saints of God living at this time must also be born of the Spirit and have the Spirit of God dwelling within them, and thus the temple existing at this time, which is also the Holy City, the city of God (the city on a hill), is the true church, the body of Christ. The physical city of Jerusalem is no longer the Holy City, but is of Hagar, the slave woman (See Gal. 4:22-31). Those who are of the promise, i.e. those who are true followers of Christ, are the New Jerusalem. This also fits with chapter 12 where it says that the Dragon (Satan) is after “those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.”

So, I believe John was to measure (examine) the true church, the body of Christ. We are given a picture, perhaps, of that examination (measurement) in Revelation 2-3 in the letters to the seven churches (or to the complete church – the church as a whole for all generations). He was to exclude the outer court, because that was given over to the Gentiles. Now, since Jesus Christ died, rose, and ascended to heaven and sent his Holy Spirit to indwell his followers, the temple of God has been a spiritual temple, not a physical one, so the outer court thus must represent the world, which includes the institutional church, i.e. that of man and not of God, i.e. the outer court represents all those who do not have true faith in Jesus Christ, which includes both Jew and Gentile. Jesus made Jew and Gentile one in Christ. He thus incorporated Gentile believers into true (spiritual) Israel along with believing Jews. All others are of Hagar, the slave woman, which includes Jews who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Messiah and Lord, and thus they are the ones in the outer court, and the ones trampling on God’s holy people, the bride of Christ.

Concerning the two witnesses, I definitely see the Old and New Testaments as strong possibilities here. Yet, I will make no attempt to try to identify who these two witnesses are, or will be, yet what I do understand is that they represent God’s Holy Word, for truly it is the Word of God that is hated, and thus the messengers are only hated because they speak the words of God. These two witnesses represent the gospel of Jesus Christ; of salvation. They most certainly confront and address sin in sinful man, and call for repentance and holy living via faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They apparently also speak words of judgment against all who refuse Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives and against all those who would come against Christ, his messages and his messengers. The people will hate these witnesses, because they hate the truth and they don’t want to be confronted with their sins or told they must turn from their sin and follow Jesus Christ in surrender to his will. This is, thus, why they trample on (crush; squash; walk or tread on) God’s holy people, because their goal is to stop the spreading of the gospel message, which is their true object of hate. They want the gospel to be snuffed out so they are no longer confronted with their sins and thus can live how they want. And, this is happening in our world today.

The Seventh Angel

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become
    the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
    and he will reign for ever and ever.”

And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
    the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
    and have begun to reign.
The nations were angry,
    and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
    and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
    both great and small—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm. ~ vv. 15-19

I don’t know the chronology of all this, but what I do know is that in chapter 10 it said that in the days when the 7th angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished (fulfilled; completed). We do know that when Jesus Christ returns for his bride that our salvation will be complete. Scripture says that a trumpet will sound, that those who have died in Christ will be raised first, and then all those of us who are alive and remaining will be caught up with our Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord (See 1 Thess. 4:13-18). This, I believe, takes place at the end of the tribulation. This fits with what it says next here in chapter 11, as well, for when the 7th angel sounded his trumpet, the loud voices in heaven proclaimed that the kingdom of the world has now become the kingdom of our Lord and he will reign for ever and ever. This, I believe, takes place at the end of the tribulation period, because next it says that God has taken his great power and he has begun to reign, and that now it was time to judge the dead and to reward the Lord’s servants, the prophets, and the Lord’s people who revere his name. As well, the time had come for destroying those who destroy the earth.

Again, I will make no attempt here to try to analyze all of this and to try to determine what happens when, only to say, at a high level, that we know scripture teaches that we, as Christ’s followers and witnesses, will be hated and persecuted and even killed for our testimony for Jesus Christ. This trampling of the “Holy City” has been going on since Jesus Christ’s ascension into heaven and his sending of the Holy Spirit to indwell his followers. And, it is still going on today, only I believe it is much stronger now, and that we are seeing a global effort now to squash the gospel of Jesus Christ and to bring those who hold to the testimony of Christ and his gospel into disrepute, or to try to force them into compliance with the one-world ecumenical movement, or else to persecute, blaspheme and kill them. And, this is beginning to work its way into America, too.

As well, we do know from scripture that a time of tribulation is coming (or has already come) on the earth at which time the saints of God will be severely persecuted, imprisoned and even killed for their testimony for Christ, and that they will no longer be able to buy and to sell unless they take the mark of the beast. Many of us believe the beast is already forming and is in the process of conquering nations across the globe by the use of intimidation and military force (both private and public); through the use of false flag operations, falsely accusing the governments of the world of what our government and their allies are doing, so that we can go into these countries to conquer them (not to save them); and also is conquering them via man-made disasters, including financial disasters. And, I believe, and many others believe, and there appears to be evidence to support this, that our government in the US and their allies in the New World Order Beast are also targeting those followers of Christ who do hold strong to their faith and beliefs and who do speak out concerning the gospel of salvation, and that this N.W.O. beast is persecuting and murdering Christ’s followers across the globe – U.S. sanctioned and supported.

No one knows the exact timing of when the actual reign of this beast will take place, but we can know that it is near by the signs, and there are many, many signs. I believe it won’t be long now before we see this reign of the beast truly take hold globally and the church of Christ across the globe trampled upon by those in the “outer court,” i.e. by those outside of true faith in Jesus Christ. Much of this persecution will come, I believe, through the institutional ecumenical church, and we can definitely see this happening even now. Remember that Jesus’ greatest opposition and persecutors did not come from the people out in the world, per se, but from those within institutional religion, and especially from those in positions of religious and political power. Yet, it is during these times of persecution, imprisonment, or pressures from the outside world (or the worldly church) to conform to the norms of society that we, like Paul and Silas, can sing praises to God.

Songs in the Night / An Original Work / December 18, 2013

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God,
And the other prisoners were listening to them.” Acts 16:25 NIV ‘84

Lord, I praise You forevermore.
You, my Savior, I now adore.
Hope in heaven awaiting me,
Because You died at Calvary.

I have been forgiven,
And I’m bound for heaven.
Jesus set me free from
All my sin, I say.
I will praise Him always!

Lord, I love You for all You’ve done:
Overcame death, my vict’ry won!
Jesus saved me, and now I’m free!
I rejoice in His love for me.

I will walk in vict’ry!
My sin is but hist’ry!
I am free to please Him
With my life today.
I will love Him always!

Lord, I thank You for giving me
A new life bought at Calvary.
Loving Jesus, I meet with Him.
Tender mercies now flow within.

Lord, I am so thankful;
Through my Lord, I’m able
To sit at His table;
Fellowship with Him.
I will thank Him always!

Bittersweet

Sunday, December 22, 2013, 7:11 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with this song:

Jesus Loves Me / Anna B. Warner / David R. McGuire / William Bradbury

Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak, but He is strong.

Jesus loves me still today,
Walking with me on my way,
Wanting as a friend to give
Light and love to all who live.

Jesus loves me! He who died
Heaven’s gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.

Jesus loves me! He will stay
Close beside me all the way;
Thou hast bled and died for me,
I will henceforth live for Thee.

Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 10 (quoting vv.5-11).

The Mystery of God

Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

What is the mystery of God? It is Jesus Christ crucified, risen and ascended to heaven; the gospel of our salvation, the hope of heaven; the message of God’s wisdom which he destined for our glory before time began; and it is God’s divine will and purpose for all people. His divine will and purpose is that we be holy and blameless in his sight; that we become children of God by faith in Jesus Christ; that we be bought back for God via Jesus’ shed blood for us on the cross for our sins; that through Christ’s sacrifice we might be forgiven of our sins; and that we, who hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. His purpose in dying for our sins is that we might turn away from living for sin and self, that we might be delivered from slavery to sin, and that we might, instead, walk in his righteousness and holiness, living holy lives pleasing to him by the power of his Spirit.

The mystery of God is his divine grace to us in saving us from our sins; and that through the gospel we who are Gentiles by birth can become heirs with Israel, “members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus,” both by faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. The mystery of God is the word of God in its fullness; Christ in you, the hope of glory, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Jesus Christ, thus, is the mystery of God from which true godliness springs. In the end of time, Jesus’ life, ministry, death and resurrection, which was for the forgiveness of sins and the salvation of souls, will come to fulfillment, and our salvation will be completed when he returns for his bride and we are with our Lord forever in glory.

[See: Ro. 16:25; 1 Co. 2:7; Eph. 3:3-9; 6:19; Col. 1:26-27; 2:2; 4:3; and 1 Tim. 3:16; Eph. 4:17-24; Lu. 9:23-25; Gal. 2:20.]

The Word of Truth

Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

The scroll, though definitely representing words that John was to prophesy concerning God’s judgments on the people of this earth, was the word of God. The word of God is Jesus Christ, the living Word, the books of the Bible known and recognized as scripture, i.e. God’s God-breathed words, and it is also the word spoken in our hearts by the Spirit of God who is our counselor, guide, teacher, and encourager, who makes known to us the mystery of Christ, and who leads and empowers us to follow in Christ’s way; in his righteousness and holiness. The Word is truth, it is life, and it is full of the Spirit of God. It is alive and active, judging the thoughts and attitudes of our hearts.

Jesus said that whoever obeys (or keeps) Christ’s word will never see death. He said that if we hear the word, and we put it into practice, we are wise, but if we hear it, and we don’t put it into practice, we are foolish, and our lives will come crashing down when the storms of life beat against us. We won’t be able to stand. Not only are we to listen to the word, and put it into practice, but it is to bear fruit (have produce or outgrowth) in our lives and in the lives of those whose lives we touch. We are also to not be ashamed of the word, but we should live it and we should proclaim it. Scripture teaches over and over again that we are to obey (keep; do) the word, not just hear it and speak it. It must become alive within us through us applying its truths to our daily lives; living what we say we believe.

Jesus Christ is not only the Word, but he is also the bread of life. Symbolically speaking, we are to eat this Word/Bread if we want to live forever with God. God did not purpose that our lives on this earth would be for ourselves, but for the glory of God and for his purposes. Our sustenance should not be of the things of this life only – bread, water, air, etc. – but should be that of the living water, the bread of heaven, and of the Spirit of God. We need both physical and spiritual nourishment for life, love, liberty and true joy, peace and safety. The way in which we “eat” the word is by listening to it, accepting its truths into our lives and by doing what it says to do – all in the strength and power of the Spirit within us.

[See: John 6:35, 51; Matt. 4:4; 7:24-26; 13:20-23; 24:35; Mk. 8:38; John 1; 1 John 1; 2:5; Jn. 6:63; 8:51; 17:17; Ro. 10:8; Heb. 4:12; Jas. 1:21-23; Rev. 3:8.]

Sweet and Sour

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’” I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

John was told to eat the scroll (the Word). It would taste as sweet as honey, but would turn sour in his stomach. This brought to mind this idea of bittersweet, i.e. causing feelings of happiness and sadness at the same time (Encarta), or being both pleasant and painful (Dictionary.com). John loved the word of God, and so he received the word with great joy, but he certainly did not love giving messages of divine judgment. God’s true servants and witnesses don’t give out the hard truths of scripture or messages of divine judgment because they enjoy bringing sadness to people, but because they believe the Word of God, they believe God, and because they care about people’s lives and their future hope.

Yet, I saw other ways scripture gives us a picture of the Word as being “bittersweet,” when we take it into our lives and we obey its truths. Because of the Word of God (of truth), and because we listen, accept and do what it says, and because we proclaim it to others so that they can come to know Christ, too, the world of sin hates us, and it (they) will reject, persecute and even kill us for our testimony for Jesus Christ and for his gospel of salvation. That makes the Word bittersweet, because we love God’s word, and we love to do what it says, but it is painful to be hated and rejected, ostracized and persecuted because we hold to the truths of God’s word and we don’t deny the name of Jesus. It is especially painful when we are rejected by the family of God and/or by those within our natural families.

As well, going back in thought to why the scroll was bittersweet to John is the fact that the word contains both words of encouragement and of rebuke. Although we love the word, and we love to spend time at Jesus’ feet, taking in his truths, sometimes the words can be joyful, hopeful and encouraging, yet other times they are painful or sorrowful, too. Yet, no matter whether the words are ones that make us feel joyful or they are ones that bring us to tears and perhaps to repentance (contriteness), they should still be sweet to our taste, because they are the very words of God to our soul, and God always has our best in mind.

[See: John 17:14; 2 Tim. 4:2; Heb. 4:12; Rev. 6:9; 12:11 and 20:4.]

In Summary

Jesus loves us so very much! That is why he gave his life up for us when he died on a cross, taking upon him the sins of the entire world so we could be free. His purpose in dying for us is not just so we can go to heaven one day, as wonderful as that will be. His purpose for us is that we be transformed in heart and mind of the Spirit of God, away from living for sin and self, to living to please God in the power of his Spirit at work within us. His purpose for us is that we walk with him in fellowship and in the Spirit of God, that we listen to him, accepting his words, and that we take them to heart by doing what the word says, i.e. by submitting to the working of the Spirit of God within us in doing the will of God.

In doing so, we must also be willing to accept the “bittersweet” part of God’s word and that is that we will be hated, persecuted and may even have our lives taken from us because we hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ. God is not looking for part-time and half-committed followers. He wants our all on the altar, with our hearts surrendered to his will and purpose. Because he loves us so much, he will discipline us in order to get us to submit to his will, i.e. he will allow us to go through hardship, pain and suffering to draw us close to his heart. Yet, we should not resist him, but we should accept these trials as from him, knowing that he loves us, and that through these “bittersweet” experiences we will grow in his grace.

Return to Me / An Original Work / September 5, 2013

Based off Jeremiah 31; Cf. Rev. 2-3

I have loved you with an eternal love,
Which I give to you, in my faithfulness.

Keep your voice from weeping,
And your eyes from tearing.
You will be rewarded
With much fruitfulness.

There is hope for you that My family
Will return to Me; live in victory!

Though I discipline in My love for you,
My heart longs for you that you walk in truth.

Turn your thoughts to your Lord.
Choose to walk in His ways.
Turn from your sins daily.
Follow Jesus Christ.

Oh, how long will you wander in your sin?
Give your hearts to Me; be restored within.

I will satisfy ev’ry weary soul
Who repents of sin; is renewed within.

Behold, days are coming;
It will surely happen;
Though I discipline them,
They will thrive again.

I will be their One and their Only God.
They shall walk in white; be in Me, made right.

Trust Priced

Saturday, December 21, 2013, 8:30 a.m. – The Lord Jesus woke me with the song “Why Are You Afraid?” going through my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 8-9, and these are the verses which jumped out at me (9:17-19):

The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

Yesterday afternoon I was not feeling well at all, so I lay down for a nap. As I was waking, I could hear in my mind the words “Trust Priced.” I wanted to know what that meant so I looked up the word “priced.” “Price” means “the cost of something; something sacrificed to get something else; or a sufficient bribe.” Something “priced” thus means it is marked with a price, or the cost is determined (Source: Encarta), or having a particular price (cost).

So, “trust priced” means that trust in humans, things, or in God comes with a price (a predetermined cost). When we place our trust in humans, for instance, we have to understand that it might cost us something, i.e. we may be required to sacrifice something in order to get something else, or we may just have to pay the natural consequences of that trust, particularly if the one being trusted turns out to be untrustworthy and, in fact, turns out to be a traitor. Similarly (or not), when we decide to put our faith in Jesus Christ, we must realize that there is a cost involved. Jesus paid the price for our sins so we could go free from the control of sin over our lives, yet when we come to him, by faith, and we are crucified with him, what that means is that we die to self and sin and we choose to walk by faith from this point on. Yet, what that also means is that we are then marked for death (the price), i.e. we will be hated, persecuted, rejected, despised and perhaps even killed for our testimony for Jesus Christ and for his gospel. Yet, we will live in victory over sin, walk in His righteousness, and we will have the hope and promise of eternal life with God. Amen!

A Hot Air Balloon

When I woke up from my nap, it was 1:30 p.m. After I researched “trust priced,” I then decided to check out the news. It was now around 2:00 p.m. I noticed in the news that President Obama was holding a press conference at 2:00 p.m., so I found a live feed of it on the internet (no TV), and I sat and listened as he talked and as he responded to the various questions asked. And, I took notes, because several things he said jumped out at me as having a hidden message to them, i.e. like a message within a message or a story within a story, i.e. the story hidden within is used as a device to reveal the truth in the outer story without really spelling it out. It is kind of like when people give us “hidden messages” through things they say, without them really coming out and saying them flat out.

As well, the Lord gave me an image of this press conference, which Obama was holding, as like holding a hot air balloon, i.e. it was a lot of hot air (filled with impressive and boastful talk about achievements or intentions that has no substance; inflated – Source: Encarta). That part was pretty obvious, as one could observe how he worked his way around questions, dodged the real intent of questions, and made things to sound better than they were, often denying the reality of the situation in favor of his “hot air” rhetoric. Yet, although what he said on the surface had little to no value, there was a strong message to the world contained within, which packed a punch, I believe. So, I will paraphrase what he said in order to give what I believe was the hidden message contained within the “hot air.”

The Hidden Message

I will preface my remarks concerning what I believe to be Obama’s “hidden message” with two other news stories I read in the news today, as they set the stage for Obama’s “hidden message” with what I believe are also “hidden messages.”

The first news article was about the supposed situation with N. Korea, and now in relation to S. Korea. Supposedly N. Korea is threatening to attack the south without notice as some type of retaliatory response to something the South purportedly did to insult the leadership of the north. What I believe the “hidden message” to be in this story is that Obama made a threat to all who oppose and/or who refuse to bow to the New World Order Beast, which is an insult to the beast N.W.O., and this threat extends also to those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ. The threat was made via his press conference (the hot air balloon), but also via the New World Order. Obama serves as a kind of “rattler” of the snake of the beast in that he is the mouth of the New World Order, i.e. his job is to shake things up; to instill fear; and to threaten impending danger via the snake beast (N.W.O.) to all who choose to not unify with the N.W.O. (beast). The message was sent supposedly by “the North’s highest military body,” which is the US/Obama/N.W.O. military body.

An article about the situation in Syria stated something similarly, with the same or similar hidden meaning (message), which is that Obama/US Gov. and the N.W.O. Beast comprise the true rebel groups coming against the governments of the world; and that the N.W.O, via Obama, as the voice, is calling for unity with the N.W.O. beast, and is branding anyone standing in non-compliance with the N.W.O. as a traitor, and thus is threatening violence.

Ok, what I believe the Lord Jesus is showing me here concerning the hidden message(s) in Obama’s press conference is this: He said that he “firmly believes” that 2014 can be a “breakthrough year for America,” i.e. “an attacking army's advance through and beyond an enemy's line of defense” (Encarta), or a sudden advance. In other words, the “breakthrough” he is expecting to take place in America is the advance of the N.W.O. military forces against our nation in a coup against our government so as to bring the U.S.A. underneath this N.W.O. rule of the beast. Concerning this “budget deal” in Congress, the true “deal” on order is a “deal with the devil,” i.e. the “grand bargain” Obama asked for of Congress, which is compliance with the N.W.O. in the rise of the New World Order out of the ashes of the old world order, which also means putting the “old order” of law to death. This “grand bargain” requires the U.S. government (and all world governments) to compromise “core principles.” This means that the governments of the world must yield control of their governments to the New World Order Beast or else pay the consequences, which is what Obama’s threats are all about, and basically sums up his press conference.

He also said that he thinks 2014 should be “a year of action.” The “action” I believe he is referring to is getting tougher on all world governments in order to force compliance with the global one-world government rule. He said we have to build on the “process we’ve painstakingly made” over the past several years. I know the process he is talking about, and it involves false flag operations, man-made storms/disasters, fake uprisings in nations in order to justify coming into nations to take them over, and the murdering of innocents, including our own, and including the slaughtering of Christians throughout the world. In other words, he is threatening more of the same, only much, much worse. Where he is going to focus all his efforts in the year ahead is in getting people to bow to the beast, for that is his job as “rattler” of this “beast”. The interests of America which he says he and his administration are “standing up for” “around the world” are the interests of the N.W.O., which is to get all governments and all peoples of the world to bow to the beast.

He said what he has been focused on “each and every day” is “moving the ball” (N.W.O.) in helping America to have “a little more security,” i.e. as in private security forces of BIG BROTHER, i.e. moving toward martial law. He said there are a “whole bunch of things” that they do which they don’t get credit for, i.e. hidden and secretive evil things. The transcript of what he said says he said: “I took this job to deliver for the American people.” What I heard him say was “I took this job to deliver 40 million people.” He almost said it under his breath, so I had to check it out to make sure I heard it right. I believe what I heard is the true meaning of his words, though not in delivering us from evil, but delivering us up to the N.W.O. Why he ran for office is for this “deal of the century” to take place, i.e. this “grand bargain.” In other words, Obama was placed in office for the very purpose of delivering the people of the world up to the New World Order Beast, I believe. God started me in this ministry of writing about these things just prior to Obama putting in his bid for the presidency, and the Lord Jesus has given me literally hundreds of messages about him since that time, and they are all consistent.

On another note, he said that the U.S. government has people whose job it is to keep “the American people protected.” What I believe he means is it is their job to protect us from the truth, which would mean these people comprise the media, which fills our minds with all kinds of fantasies about what is happening in the world so that we trust our government is truly doing what they say they are doing, and that way, since they have the support, generally speaking, of the American people, they can keep doing what they do in taking over other nations and killing innocent people, even Christians just for being Christians. They have to guard against “slips,” though, because then we might learn the real truth of who they are and what they do and the real truth about where this nation and world is headed, and then we would not be waving and saluting our flags and praising our military for keeping us “free.” They must keep us “dumbed down” with all sorts of daily drama to distract us so we don’t see what is really going on in the world around us. Obama said the only way to make this “balance” work between the illegal actions of BIG BROTHER via the N.S.A. and what he believes is necessary to keep us “protected” (from whom?) is if “the American people have confidence and TRUST.” Do you get the picture? As long as we trust them, they can continue to do their dirty work around the world with our support. Yikes!

One thing our government does regularly is to blame other nations for what we do. Obama said that our country “abides by rule of law,” etc. Not so! We are probably the guiltiest of all nations in breaking the law of love toward other people, for our government works for Satan (the Beast; N.W.O.). We are the ones “engaging in surveillance of their own citizens, targeting political dissidents,” and targeting and suppressing all who would dare tell the truth. Our government, though perhaps not all, operates much like the mob, only globally. The kind of “protection” they offer to people is the same kind the mob offers. If the “customers” or business owners (governments of nations) don’t want to pay the “protection money,” then they come in and do stuff to their “business of operation” in order to force compliance and then they have the “protection” of the U.S. Government/N.W.O. This is the “hardship provision” in the new law. If you don’t bow, we make it really hard on you. If we don’t accept this “transition” to the N.W.O., then they will have to break a few legs in order to get compliance. This is what Obama is threatening the world with. Bow or else!

This “hot air balloon” of the N.W.O., upon which our government is riding up, up, up into the air on its tail, has no escape clause. There is no way down from it, because they don’t plan to come down. But, one day God will judge them, and he will deflate their global “balloon,” and they will be on a free-fall to their deaths. In other words, this thirst for power has a price, and the price is destruction. Don’t put your trust in humans, for they are bound to fail you. Put your trust in God alone. He is our only hope for what ails this world right now. He will use all of this to revive his church and to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ, but then he will judge all the evil, and all the lies and deceptions, and all will be exposed.

The Letters / An Original Work / December 17, 2013

Based off Revelation 2-3

To the angels of all the churches write:
These are the words of your Lord and your God.
I know all your deeds, and your witness, too,
And who holds to My words and tells what’s true.
I know all your hard work and your perseverance,
Yet I hold against you: you’ve forsaken Me.
Listen to what I say to you.

You have people there who deny My name,
And who put the cross of Christ up to shame.
They entice the people to Me, profane,
And their worship of Me is all in vain.
They are so adult’rous as they chase their idols,
And you put up with them easily enough.
Listen to what I say to you.

You give off an image of godliness,
But what you present is so fraudulent,
Or else you lack passion for Jesus Christ,
So you look to others to tell what’s right.
I say turn from your sin, or you will face judgment.
He who overcomes will have eternal life.
Listen to what I say to you.

I know your afflictions and poverty;
How you suffer for your Lord patiently.
Do not fear the devil and company.
You be faithful to your Lord endlessly.
I know all your weakness and your dedication.
You have kept My Word and not denied your Lord.
I will write on you My new name.
