Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

The Grace of God

The grace of God frees us from sin

So we can live now just for Him.

It sanctifies us, pure within,

So sin no longer we give in.

It’s training us say “No!” to self,

Put worldly passions on the shelf,

Ungodliness now gone away

So from our Lord we will not stray.

For Jesus died on cruel cross

For all who’re living at a loss,

To put our sins to death with Him

So we will repent of our sin.

So self-control rules in our hearts,

And from our God we not depart.

And pure of heart live godly lives,

So in the end we will survive.

For if sin is what we obey,

And from our Lord we surely stray,

Remaining there, dead in our sins,

With Christ, we not have life in Him.

For Christ gave Himself up for us

To free us from our lawlessness,

So we will walk in righteousness

And be His workmen, Christ to bless.

The works of God, now what we do,

As we take God’s will now in view.

For we belong now to our Lord

To do what God prepared before.
