Is It The Truth?

What do you hear? 

What do you know?

Something that’s real? 

Or a great big show?

Is it the truth?

Or is it a lie?

If it’s a lie,

Do you it decry?

What do you say?

Do you betray

The truth that you know

For the great big show?

Value the truth?

Or prefer the lie?

If you choose lie,

Do you it deny?

Where do you stand? 

Stand on the truth?

Or do you remain

Living uncouth?

What is your story?

What do you tell?

Lead people to faith?

Or send them to hell?

For faith that’s of Christ

Takes not truth by heist,

But follows Christ’s ways

Throughout all the days,

Repents of one’s sin,

Lets Jesus come in,

Lives only for Him

And not for a whim.
