“Come, behold the works of the Lord,

He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;

He burns the chariots with fire.

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’

God is In Control!
Our God – Father, Son Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit – is
fully sovereign over all he created. There is nothing that any human can do to
thwart God’s will and his purposes. But, yes, God allowed Lucifer (Satan, the
devil) to exist, fully knowing that he would tempt Eve to sin against God, and
that Adam would follow suit. And God knew that he would then ban Adam and Eve
from the Garden of Eden, and that all humankind, from that moment forward,
would be born with sin natures, in the image of Adam, except for Jesus.
Jesus Christ was the only exception, because he was not
conceived of man, but of the Spirit of God. And since he is God, the second
person of our triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – when he lived on the
earth he was fully God, yet fully human (God incarnate). So he was not born
into sin like we are, and when he lived on the earth he never sinned against
God the Father.
But no human can do anything beyond what God allows. For God
sets limits on what he will allow and on what he will not allow. And he can, in
his power, stop anyone or anything whenever he chooses that it is the right time
to do so. But he allows evil to exist for a time, and he allows evil people to
do evil things, even to those who belong to the Lord. And Jesus promised us
that if we follow and obey him with our lives that we will be hated and
persecuted as he was for our walks of faith, and for our testimonies for his
gospel.
But we don’t have to fear other humans and what they might
do to us, because God is in control. We don’t have to fear difficult
circumstances, trials, and tribulations, which God also promised would take
place. And if we die, we will be with our Lord, provided that our faith in him
is biblical faith which results in us denying self, dying to sin, and walking
in obedience to our Lord’s commands, in practice, by the Spirit, in the power
of God. For he promised that difficult days are yet ahead of us.
An Observation
Now I am going to make an observation as to the present
state of my nation, the USA. What I am seeing and hearing sounds just like what
the US government and military have done in nation after nation for as long as
I can recall. First they create a situation in another nation, or in our nation
which then opens the door for them to go into other nations, and then they come
in as the “saviors” to rectify the situation with a pre-planned solution to
their “problem.” And then they form “transitional” governments, basically under
the New World Order. And non-compliance is made an example of.
And, again, this is a personal observation, and not a
declaration, but it fits the modus operandi they have been using to take over
other nations for many years. And now, in the USA, we are having riots, and our
president has called in the National Guard, I believe, and now people are
planning statewide protests on June 14th, from what I have read,
which are protests against our sitting president who appears to have made
himself “King”, perhaps king of the world, by some people’s perspectives.
And this fits with the M.O. that the US government and
military have used repeatedly to take over the control of other nations and to
bring them under the rule of the New World Order. Personally, I believe the USA
is already under the control of the New World Order, and I believe our present
president’s presidency has been moving us even more in that direction. And soon
we might be seeing even more evidence that this is what is taking place in the
USA and that we are no longer an independent nation.
But if not now, it is what is inevitable, because the Bible
tells us that what is coming is this rule of the beast. And I believe we are
seeing some moves that direction in decisions which are being made for the
people of this nation. And I don’t believe that our government is working on
behalf of the people of this nation but on behalf of the rich and powerful of the
world who are the ones truly running the world and “calling all the shots,” i.e.
making all the decisions as to what happens to whom and when and where.
BUT.. God is absolutely sovereign over all nations and
peoples, and nothing can happen but what he allows it, and he allows it for a
purpose. And I believe his main purpose is to revive his idolatrous and
adulterous church and to bring the wanderers back to the Lord to surrender
their lives now fully to him, to doing his will and purpose for their lives, in
dying to sin and to walking in obedience to his commands, by the Spirit, in the
power of God, as we all cooperate fully with God’s will and purpose for our lives.
