Habakkuk, who was a prophet of God in Old Testament times, was having a conversation with God with regard to all the evil that was going on among his people. There was violence, iniquity, wickedness, destruction, strife, contention, the commands of God being ignored, justice not being upheld, the wicked surrounding the righteous, and justice was being perverted. And it seemed to him as though God was not listening to his cries for help.
And this is not unlike what is happening today among the multitudes
of those who call themselves Christians, and who claim Jesus Christ as their
Lord and Savior, but who do not honor God with their lifestyles. So many of
them have gone the way of the world and of the flesh, and they are living to
please self and not God. And many of them are living in captivity to sin,
especially sexual sin, and so they do not honor God with their bodies.
And in these last days before the return of Christ, God has
promised us that he will judge the rebellious and the adulterous and the wicked
who refuse to bow the knee to God in submission to his commands, but who are
choosing to live in deliberate and habitual sin against the Lord, instead. And
he promised us that he would send a wicked people against all who would not
honor him as God and who refused to turn from their sins and obey God.
And the description that he gave to Habakkuk sounds very
much like the description of The Beast (Revelation 6,11,13,14,15,16,17,19,20):
“Look among the nations! Observe!
Be astonished! Wonder!
Because I am doing something in your days—
You would not believe if you were told.
6 “For behold, I am raising up the Chaldeans,
That fierce and impetuous people
Who march throughout the earth
To seize dwelling places which are not theirs.
7 “They are dreaded and feared;
Their justice and authority originate with themselves.
8 “Their horses are swifter than leopards
And keener than wolves in the evening.
Their horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an eagle swooping down to devour.
9 “All of them come for violence.
Their horde of faces moves forward.
They collect captives like sand.
10 “They mock at kings
And rulers are a laughing matter to them.
They laugh at every fortress
And heap up rubble to capture it.
11 “Then they will sweep through like the wind and pass on.
But they will be held guilty,
They whose strength is their god.” (Habakkuk 1:5-11 NASB1995)
From childhood on up I was taught government worship, to pledge
(vow) my allegiance (devotion, loyalty, fidelity) to my government, to sing
patriotic songs of worship of my government, and to consider the military as
our heroes who are in many other nations, at war with them, for the purpose to
protect and to save the people of the USA from our enemies. Thus, the US
government became a false god to worship, and the military our saviors.
But when the Lord called me to this present ministry 21
years ago, he began opening my eyes to the truth of what was going on in my
nation, among its people and its government and military, and within the
institutional market-driven “churches” (businesses) of today in the USA. And he
led me to read many different historical and scientific documents, in
conjunction with the Scriptures, to show me what I was previously blinded to
about the USA.
And from all that he taught me over the years, and from all
that he led me to read, both in the Scriptures and in historical and scientific
documents, and in the news, I can say plainly that what he showed me about my
own government, and their political allies in the UN, and in NATO, and in other
organizations, it all fits with this description of the Chaldeans whom God
intended to use as his instrument of judgment against his adulterous people.
And all of this today that God is using as his instruments
of judgment against his idolatrous and adulterous people, who profess his name,
can be wrapped up in the rule of The Beast. And from what I understand of what
the Lord revealed to me through what he showed me in his word and via the documents
he had me read, the US government fits the description of the harlot who rides
the beast, who is working for the beast to do its bidding.
And I believe we can see the rule of this beast in the New
World Order which is upon us and which is overtaking nations and peoples all
throughout the world, to bring us all under one totalitarian rule of this
beast. And if you knew, in truth, what the US government is really doing in all
these other nations, you would see that it fits with those who “march
throughout the earth to seize dwelling places which are not theirs,” etc.
So, all the craziness which is presently going on in our
nations and in the world, and with the USA’s present form of government, which
we can read about daily in the news and on social media sites, it fits with this
description of the Chaldeans. For, “their justice and authority originate with
themselves,” and “they fly like an eagle” (The USA’s national symbol) “swooping
down to devour,” even the people of their own nation. But they will be held
guilty.

Seek the Lord
An Original Work / July 20, 2012
Christ’s Free Servant, Sue J Love
Musical Instrumentation by Mark
Bradley
Based off Isaiah 55
“Come to Me all you
who thirst; come to waters.
Listen to Me, and
eat what’s good today,
And your soul will
delight in richest of fare.
Give ear to Me, and
you will live.
I have made an
eternal covenant with you.
Wash in the blood of
the Lamb.”
Seek the Lord while
He may be found; call on Him.
Let the wicked
forsake his way, in truth.
Let him turn to the
Lord, and he will receive mercy.
Freely, God pardons
him.
“For My thoughts are
not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My
ways,”
declares the Lord,
our God.
“My word that goes
out of My mouth is truthful.
It will not return
to Me unfulfilled.
My word will
accomplish all that I desire,
And achieve the goal
I intend.
You will go in joy
and be led forth in peace.
The mountains will
burst into song… before you,
And all of the trees
clap their hands.”
