“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:37-39 NASB1995)
I believe we are in “The days of Noah” in our present
day and time, not that Noah is living and building an ark today, and that God
is going to send a flood, but that we are living in days like then where so
many people are giving no heed to God’s teachings and warnings, but they are
living for the flesh, to please the flesh, and not to please God. Even so many
who profess faith in Jesus Christ are living very worldly lives, for their own
pleasure, and not to please God, and not in obedience to God and to his commandments.
So many are worshiping that which is not God but which of
the flesh of man, including certain people who are being raised up to God-like
status and who are being followed as though they are gods to be worshiped and
believed without consideration that they may be working for the devil, and that
they may be feeding us a pack of lies, and that their goal may be to trap us in
their schemes or to put us to death, and not to do us good as they promise. So
many people are lacking in true biblical discernment in these matters.
So much of what is called “church” these days are creations
of human beings, and they are businesses incorporated (merged, combined) with
the state (the ungodly), which are being marketed to the world just like any
other businesses. And God demands that we come out from among them so that we
don’t share in their sins and in their punishment. For so many of these “churches”
are being led by the flesh, and not by God, and with the goal to appease human
flesh, and not to please and obey Our God.
[Matthew 21:12-13;
John 2:13-17; Acts 5:27-32; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Philippians 3:18-19; Revelation
2-3; Revelation 13:5-8; Revelation 18:1-5]
But the biblical church is not these man-made businesses
being marketed to the world. The church is the people of God, the body of
Christ, made up of all who are of genuine faith in Jesus Christ, who have died
with Christ to sin and who are walking in obedience to his commands, and no
longer in sin. And Jesus Christ is to be our head, not human flesh, and the
Scriptures are to be our guide, not marketing schemes and tricks which are
being used to attract the ungodly to the gatherings of these “churches”
(businesses).
But these “churches,” which are institutions of man, and not
of God, are very popular among the people. And so many of them are teaching a
very diluted gospel which permits their adherents to continue living in sin and
in disobedience to God without consequence just because they “prayed the
prayer,” or just because they made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. And
many are teaching their people that they do not have to repent of their sins
and that they do not have to obey God, for they call that legalism.
So what we have are a whole lot of people professing faith
in Jesus Christ who have not died with Christ to sin, and so they were not
raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as
slaves to sin but now as slaves to God and to his righteousness. And so they
are not “in Christ” by God-persuaded faith in Jesus Christ. And so they are not
saved from their sins, and heaven is not their eternal destiny, because they
deny Christ by how they live their lives for the sinful pleasures of the flesh
and not for God.
And since “the church” is now mostly undistinguishable from
the world, as are many “Christians” who say they believe in Jesus Christ. And since
so many are living worldly lives for the pleasures of the flesh, and not for
God nor according to the teachings of the Scriptures taught in their
appropriate context, and so many people are following the ways of the world,
and not the ways of God, then we are living in “The Days of Noah,” which will
be followed by the judgment of God on his adulterous and idolatrous people.
So, while you still have today, because tomorrow is not
guaranteed, surrender your lives to Jesus Christ. Die with him to sin, and now
walk in obedience to his commands, by the grace of God, in the power of God.
For if you do not do this, and you keep on living for the pleasures of the
flesh, you will not inherit eternal life with God, regardless of what your lips
profess.

Bombs are bursting. Night is falling.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Trust Him with your life today.
Make Him your Lord and your Savior.
Turn from your sin. Follow Jesus.
He will forgive you of your sin;
Cleanse your heart, made new within.
Men betraying: Our trust fraying.
On our knees to God we’re praying,
Seeking God to give us answers
That are only found in Him.
God is sovereign over all things.
Nothing from His mind escaping.
He has all things under His command,
And will work all for good.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Men deceiving: We’re believing
In our Lord, and interceding
For our nation and its people
To obey their God today.
He is our hope for our future.
For our wounds He offers suture.
He is all we need for this life.
Trust Him with your life today.
