“I have seen a wicked, violent man
Spreading himself like a luxuriant tree in its native soil.
Then he passed away, and lo, he was no more;
I sought for him, but he could not be found.
Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright;
For the man of peace will have a posterity.
But transgressors will be altogether destroyed;
The posterity of the wicked will be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their strength in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;
He delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
Because they take refuge in Him.” (Psalm 37:35-40 NASB1995)
Turn on the news and you will see many wicked men and women
who pretend one thing while they live another. Many of them are fakes, phonies,
props, and stage actors who put on a show for the audience, and who pretend
that one thing is happening when the whole thing may just be an act, a performance
for the benefit (not really) of the people, usually for the purpose to deceive
and to distract them from what is really happening.
We live in the age of massive deception where comrades fake
that they are enemies to convince the people that they are in opposition to one
another while they work together to trick and to deceive the masses with their
lies. And this is partially to get the people fighting one another, thinking
that their side is the side which is telling the truth while the other side is
the side which is telling the lie, when both sides are lying to the people.
But it is also for the purpose to distract and to confuse
and to get the people’s focus going one direction while the pure evil that is
happening is being done behind the scenes where the people cannot see what is
really taking place in the world, and in our individual nations. Some people
are wise to what is going on, but at least here in the USA, it appears that the
majority do not see the BIG PICTURE, i.e. the BEAST is rising.
And this is happening not only on a political level, but
this is happening within the gatherings of what are called “churches,” many of
them which are incorporated (merged, partnered with) under the state in unholy
unions forbidden by God, turning their gatherings into places of business,
which is also forbidden by God. They have united with the world in order to attract
the world to their gatherings, and so they have also diluted the gospel.
And this is why the Scriptures instruct us and warn us
against putting our trust in other humans, for they are bound to fail us, and
they may not at all be who they pretend to be. While we may be thinking that
they are on our side, secretly they are plotting evil against us with the full
intention to betray us, the people. Some of us are wise to their tricks. Some
of us are not. So we really need to pray and ask the Lord to give us
discernment here.
We need to pray and ask the Lord to open our eyes to see the
lies we are believing and the liars that we may be trusting, convinced that
what they are telling us is the truth. We need to ask the Lord for spiritual
eyes to see, to discern evil from good. But we must also be students of the Scriptures
who study them in the appropriate biblical context so that we know what they
teach (in context) and so that we follow the ways of God, of Christ.
But sadly, those who continue in their wickedness, even if
they profess faith in Jesus Christ, will not have eternal life with God. They
will die in their sins, and they will spend eternity in eternal torment. And this
should grieve us. And we should pray for the wicked to turn from their evil
ways, and by faith in Jesus Christ to now walk in obedience to God and to his
commands, and to now live holy lives, pleasing to God, for the glory and praise
of God.
[Matt 7:13-14,21-23; Lu 9:23-26; Jn
10:27-30; Ac 26:18; Rom 2:6-8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14; Rom 12:1-2; 1 Co
6:9-10,19-20; 1 Co 10:1-22; 2 Co 5:10,15,21; Gal 5:16-24; Gal 6:7-8; Eph

12:1-2; 1 Pet 2:24; 1 Jn 1:1-10; 1 Jn 2:3-6,15-17; 1 Jn 3:4-10]
And we should make certain that our lives are surrendered to
Jesus Christ, to doing his will, that we have truly died with Christ to sin and
that we are now walking in obedience to his commands, in practice. And if we
are being persecuted for our walks of obedience to our Lord, we need to be
placing our circumstances into the hands of God, taking refuge in him, trusting
that he will work it all out for good, i.e. that good will come out of it in the
end.
As the Deer
By Martin J. Nystrom
Based off Psalm 42:1
As the deer panteth
for the water
So my soul longeth
after You
You alone are my
heart's desire
And I long to
worship You
You alone are my
strength, my shield
To You alone may my
spirit yield
You alone are my
heart's desire
And I long to
worship You
