Somewhere Out There

Somewhere out there lives now are falling apart.

For the truth is, many from God now depart.

Make their own truth, fitting how they want to live,

For the truth is, their lives to God will not give.

Full surrender to God to now do His will

All forsaken so they can now live a thrill.

Fleshy pleasures subvert God’s will for their lives.

Hidden treasures now covered up with their lies.

All on purpose, wandering souls to live on,

Do what they want, while God’s word now they step on.

Truth that matters they will now toss far away,

And truth tellers they will now surely betray.

But the truth is Jesus was our sacrifice.

On that cross then He died to give us new life.

Die to sin and walk now in all of His ways,

Follow Him now all throughout all of your days.

Life in Him now, surrender to all His will,

Serve Him only, your being He will now fill.

Life in service, doing what God has designed

For our lives, we all need His purpose to find.
