Time, it is not on our side.
Days are passing, passing by.
Wars are raging, people praying,
Folks betraying, to sin straying.
Sin, it is not put to death,
E’en by folks at their last breath.
Worldliness is on the rise
Taught by preachers in disguise.
“Church,” it is a social bee
Based on so much vanity.
People talking, not much walking
With the Lord. The truth they’re balking.
Folks are living in their sin,
Not to Christ will they give in.
Sin’s addiction has its pull
On the ones who live like fools.
World, it’s going all to hell,
Many people in its spell –
Follow leaders who lies feed us.
They deceive us, their sins grieve us.
Rulers lying through their teeth,
Blaming others their sins heed,
Casting blame on innocents
With the stories they invent.
Time to wake up to it all,
See the writing on the wall.
Bible tells us if sin dwells us
Heaven’s gates not open to us.
So repent of sin today,
Flee from sin, Christ now obey.
Walk with Him in fellowship
Until you breathe your last breath.
