Wait a Little Longer

Friday, December 20, 2013, 7:35 a.m. – I woke up periodically through the night. Each time I woke up, the song “Songs in the Night” was playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 6-7 (quoting 6:9-11; 7:9-17 NIV 1984):

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed…

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,

who sits on the throne,

and to the Lamb.”

All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:

“Amen!

Praise and glory

and wisdom and thanks and honor

and power and strength

be to our God for ever and ever.

Amen!”

Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”

I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God

    and serve him day and night in his temple;

and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.

Never again will they hunger;

    never again will they thirst.

The sun will not beat upon them,

    nor any scorching heat.

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;

    he will lead them to springs of living water.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Difficult Times

The Book of Revelation is from Jesus Christ, which God the Father gave to him to show his servants what must soon take place. This was written nearly 2,000 years ago. Jesus spoke through the apostle John who recorded the words of Jesus Christ. This book, or letter, was written to the seven churches in the province of Asia. Contained inside the whole book is also seven letters to each individual church group, in which Jesus encouraged or applauded them in what they were doing that was right, but scolded or chastised them concerning what they were doing that was in error, warning them of impending judgment if they did not repent, but promising hope and rewards for the faithful and the overcomers. This book of Revelation, though written specifically to these seven churches, was written to the church of all ages, for each one of us can identify in some way with at least one of these seven churches, and we are all part of the overall body of Christ, and much or all of what was written here was to tell the church what she should expect to come from that point on.

Jesus Christ was the one found worthy to open the scrolls, for he is the Lamb of God who shed his blood on the cross for our sins and bought us back (redeemed us) for God. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords over all the earth. When he walked the face of this earth, he told his disciples of the things that were to come after he left them, and of the signs of the end of the age. He said there would be wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, famine, pestilence, many deaths, a great rebellion, a great falling away from the faith, many false teachers (or antichrists), much deception, and that his followers would be hated and persecuted, and that many would be imprisoned and/or killed for their testimony for Jesus and for the sake of the gospel of Christ. And, that is the message here in Revelation, as well. Jesus said that first there would be birth pains, and then the labor, and then the birth of the end of the age, basically, so all these things would take place over a long period of time, but the worst of times would be for a short period of time at the very end.

Many throughout the world right now are suffering greatly via war, famine, disease, weather-related disasters, intrigue, deception, and the conquering of their nations via the New World Order (Beast), and many, as well are suffering severe persecution and death for their testimonies for Jesus Christ. This type of severe persecution is not familiar to most of us here in the USA, but believe me, it is happening, and I believe it is happening at the hands of the US government and their allies, comprising this global one-world government in the works. I believe they create these difficult scenarios in other nations so that they can go into these countries under the guise of “savior,” but in reality as “conqueror.” Their goal, I believe, is to conquer all governments and kingdoms of the world and to bring them underneath the New World Order (Beast), as well as it is to rid the world of those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ, and especially those who are sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and are leading the people of this world to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives, for we stand as a major threat to Satan’s kingdom rule on the earth.

The Martyred Saints

These two chapters of Revelation picture those who have been martyred for their faith as crying out to God for him to judge those who are killing Christ’s messengers and to put an end to all the suffering, but Jesus Christ tells them to wait a little longer until the number of those to be killed is completed. God has a reason for it all, and I believe it is two-fold: 1) To bring his adulterous church back to a walk of faithful submission to him, and 2) To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ via the persecuted church so that many people will be saved before the great wrath of God is poured out on this earth and before Jesus Christ returns and then we no longer have the opportunity to receive Christ and eternal life.

So, those who are being persecuted for their faith should give praise to God for his wisdom and his judgment in all of this, and we should thank him and honor him, too, for he knows what is best for us all. We should love him, praise him and thank him for his great salvation to us, and believe him for the revival of his church and the salvation of many lives in the days ahead, via this time of great persecution coming upon the body of Christ. And, we should continue to serve him in sharing the truths of God’s word, even if it means being hated, persecuted, ostracized, rejected, imprisoned, beaten, and/or our deaths. One day he will wipe away every tear from our eyes. Amen! And, in that we can rejoice!

Worthy of Our Worship

Thursday, December 19, 2013, 7:11 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with the song “The Letters” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 5 (NIV).

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll

    and to open its seals,

because you were slain,

    and with your blood you purchased for God

    persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.

You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,

    and they will reign on the earth.”

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,

    to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength

    and honor and glory and praise!”

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb

    be praise and honor and glory and power,

for ever and ever!”

The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Who is Worthy?

From what I understand, the scroll spoken of here is concerning the coming judgments of God upon the earth, and upon the people of the earth, as well as it is about the saints’ inheritance of God’s eternal kingdom. It announced what was yet to come, and it told about the end of time and what kinds of things we can expect to take place before the return of Christ Jesus, at which time we, the saints of God, will be with our Lord forever. Perhaps the scroll contained the remainder of what was written in the book of Revelation, as the book itself described in detail all that is going to take place, the way in which God will judge, the persecution of the saints, their reward in heaven, and the ultimate eternal punishment for all those who do not put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and as Savior of their lives.

Jesus Christ was the only one worthy to open the scroll, because he had been crucified on a cross, taking upon himself the sins of the entire world so that everyone would have the opportunity of salvation, by God’s grace, and the hope of eternity with God in heaven, through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus was worthy because he had triumphed over hell, Satan, death and sin via his death and resurrection. He was our perfect Lamb sacrifice for our sins, and yet he is the King of kings and Lord of lords over all creation. He was worthy because he shed his own blood on the cross to buy us back (redeem us) for himself, i.e. to save us, not only from eternity in hell, but to free us from slavery to sin day-to-day, and to deliver us up to walk daily in his righteousness and holiness living within us. He is worthy because he made us to be a kingdom of people of the one and only true God, and because he called us to be priests (God’s servants; ministers of his covenant of grace; and intercessors in prayer for ourselves and others) to serve our God, and we will reign with him on the earth.

Kingdom and Priests

The kingdom of God (of heaven) has its embodiment in the person of Jesus Christ. The kingdom comprises Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, his ascension into heaven, his sending of his Holy Spirit to indwell his followers, the salvation of souls via his shed blood on the cross, his divine character and will; his love, mercy, grace, compassion and judgments, the sanctification and holiness of the follower of Christ wrought in his or her life by the Spirit of God, the true church (the body of Christ), Jesus’ soon return, and our eternal life with him in glory, and so much more. When we come to faith in Jesus Christ by his grace, we become kingdom people, and our purpose in life is transformed from living for self, sin and this earthly kingdom to a new heart with a desire to live for our Lord, to walk in his truth and in fellowship with him, to do what pleases him, and to serve him for the advancement of God’s eternal kingdom in other people’s lives, as well as in our own lives as we grow in his grace.

Jesus said that not everyone who says to him, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of his Father in heaven (see Matt. 7:21). He also said that unless we have the humble, simple trust and faith of children who put feet to their faith, we will never enter the kingdom of heaven (see Matt. 18:3). As well, he said that no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again; born of water (natural birth) and the Spirit (spiritual birth – new life in Christ) – see John 3:3-5. Those who choose to continue to live sinful lifestyles, and thus reject the transformation of the Spirit of God in their lives, by God’s grace, will not inherit eternal life in God’s eternal kingdom (see 1 Co. 6; Gal. 5:21; Eph. 5:5). In other words, not everyone who says he is saved is truly saved. Jesus said that if we would want to come after him, we must deny ourselves (our self life), take up our cross daily (die daily to sin and self) and follow (obey) him. He said if we hold on to the way we used to live when we walked in the flesh, we will lose our lives for eternity, but if we put to death our former way of living in sin, we will gain eternal life (see Lu. 9:23-25; cf. Eph. 4:17-24; Rom. 6; Gal. 2:20; 1 John 1-5; and Titus 2:11-14).

So, if we want to have eternal life with God in heaven, and if we want to participate in his kingdom while we still live on the face of this earth, we need to die to our old lives of living to please self and for sinful pleasure, we must be transformed in heart and mind of the Spirit of God, via God’s saving grace, and we must put on our new lives in Christ Jesus, “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (see Eph. 4:17-24). Jesus Christ paid much too high a price so that we could be free of bondage to sin for us to continue in sin and living for self pleasure. He is worthy of our worship and our praise, but the kind of worship he desires is not lip service only or in form only, but in submitting our lives to him and to the cross of Christ, surrendering our all to him, and truly allowing him to crucify within us our fleshly appetites and desires, and allowing him to live his life of love, grace, mercy, holiness, righteousness and obedience in us and out through us. Have you truly given him your all today? If not, please do it. Time is running out. Serve him now!

Songs in the Night

As I was writing the words to this song, as the Lord Jesus was giving them to me, I was picturing in my mind the persecuted church throughout the world either in prison or in hiding, singing songs of praise to their God for his great salvation. I pictured that the night truly symbolized a time of great trouble and hardship to come upon the church, and so the church was lifting holy hands in prayer and in praise to their Lord despite their difficult circumstances. I also pictured that among them were new believers in Jesus Christ who were freshly praising their Lord for their newfound freedom in Christ. Oh, how glorious!

The Letters

Some of us, who call ourselves Christians today, may identify with one of these seven churches in Revelation more than another. Some of us may be ones who do a lot of the right things but we have forsaken our Lord because we are operating from the flesh and not from the Spirit of God. We may have a lot of things right, but we have not truly submitted our lives to our Lord Jesus Christ to walk in his Spirit and to deny our flesh. Others of us may be part of a church group where we know the leaders are teaching a false gospel, which gives people a license to participate in immorality, and yet we say nothing and do nothing, so by our silence we stand in agreement with the false hope they are giving to people and in agreement with them leading people into sin and to deny their Lord.

Some of us may give the appearance of righteousness, but really inside we are spiritually about to die or we are already dead, so what we present on the outside is just a façade. And, then some of us may be among those who are truly following Jesus Christ with our lives, and who are giving out the gospel of Jesus Christ so that others may know Christ in his fullness. We are among those who are being persecuted, accused falsely, gossiped about, rejected, mocked, criticized and perhaps even killed for our faith in Christ. These letters were written to encourage, to give hope, to exhort and to warn us, as well as to call many to repentance and to renewed faith and testimony for Jesus Christ, our Lord.

The Time is Near

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

John, in the Spirit of God, wrote these words nearly 2,000 years ago. So, the words “soon” and “near,” though meaning quickly, speedily, and shortly, did not mean right away, but that these things were approaching; that they were coming hereafter. In a way, though, all the events from that time forward have been leading up to the time of the end and have been in preparation even for what we are seeing in our present day and time, as well.

John told us (as recorded in 1 John 4) that the spirit of the antichrist was already at work in the world. What this means is that the spirit of the antichrist, which is really Satan, is alive and is at work right now in our midst in preparation for the time of the end when the beast of Revelation will rule this earth for a time, times and half a time. None of us knows when that time will be, yet Jesus told us that we should be able to discern the signs of the times based upon what he told us they are, so that all of this should not take us by surprise. So, my purpose in writing this is to obey my Lord in sharing with you what I believe the Lord Jesus is showing me concerning some of these present signs of the times leading up to this rule of the beast and the return of Christ.

Budget Deal

I read four news articles, which I will reference below. Two of them I did not read in full (the last two). The first one had to do with this “budget deal” supposedly being discussed and voted upon in Congress. What I believe the Lord Jesus continues to show me here is that the true deal being finalized is not a budget deal for the USA, but is the “deal of the century,” i.e. this “new agreement” with the New World Order Beast, for it to have control of the nations of the world, including to have complete control and authority over these United States of America. I saw this “final passage” of the deal, not only as this agreement with the “Beast,” but also in relation to the issuing and the sending forth of a privatized secret undercover militarized police force of the New World Order, which the Lord Jesus has often shown me is like that of the Prussianized army of the 18^th – 20th centuries; i.e. of the German Kingdom (Hitler-like), and that of authoritarian control and rigid discipline.

Instead of the members of Congress being held on the budget, what is being held is the throne for the beast to rule the earth, and it is just awaiting its arrival. The concerns that some members of Congress may have over this “final passage” of the bill are truly concerns over the final stages involved in bringing this New World Order Beast to power via coordination of partnering nations and this Prussianized N.W.O. militarized police force getting where it needs to go (its final destination), i.e. concerns over making sure everything is in place for this coup of the USA and other nations of the world not yet under the complete authority and rule of the N.W.O. Beast. The plan in motion is for the complete shutdown of the federal government of the U.S.A. (and all nations of the world). The “new agreement” that will be in place at that time will be this “mark of the beast,” i.e. this handing over of our nation to the rule of the beast via this Prussianized military police force. Yet, there are many nations and people within our own nation who oppose this rule of the N.W.O. from taking hold, and that is truly what some of our leaders are fighting against, i.e. they are fighting against all opposition to the rule of the New World Order Beast.

Japan…

I read a news article about Japan, which supposedly is contending with China over land and air space, i.e. over an island or a group of islands. Purportedly Japan is having a military build-up and a national security strategy aimed at opposing China’s claims of this contested territory. According to the article, Japan has formed its own “U.S.-style National Security Council.” So, what the Lord Jesus is showing me here is that this security council, strategy, and military build-up, which supposedly is of Japan’s own making, is in name only, but that this is really of the U.N. Security Council (the Sanhedrin of the N.W.O.), the New World Order Beast’s strategy, and that the military build-up is really that of this Prussianized private military police force which will be used in this conquering of nations, I believe including inside the U.S. in order to take the U.S. by storm. Yet, the only way this will work is through “international cooperation,” which basically means cooperation with the N.W.O. Beast. It is the same scenario repeated over and over again in nation after nation after nation over the course of several years now. Much of this “cooperation” is forced.

Yet, the true opposition is not the government of China, as they are part of the U.N. Security Council, in fact they are one of the 5 permanent members + 1, i.e. the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, China and Russia. Yet, that does not mean everyone in these nations is on board with the New World Order takeover, just like most Americans would be opposed to such a global government the likes of Hitler’s regime becoming the supreme rule of our nation. So, they will use this Prussianized military force to remove, persuade or discredit all opposing forces to this global rule, including the persecution and death of those who profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, who hold fast to their testimony, and who share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the goal of winning others to salvation in Christ. Also, the true disputed territory is not this set of islands, per se, but is the “seat” of rule and authority of this beast and this “deal of the century,” i.e. this “new agreement” with the N.W.O., which makes the true opposition all those opposed to the rule of the N.W.O. Beast.

N.S.A. and the Dollar

I only briefly read these two news articles, but I read enough to get the picture I believe the Lord Jesus wanted me to receive. The N.S.A. is presently “under the gun” for having taken more liberties than it should have in spying on the people of America’s private lives. The article stated that the Supreme Court will have the “last word.” The Lord is showing me that the U.N. Security Council is truly the “Supreme Court” of this world (and the U.S.), and they truly will have the “last word” on what happens with the N.S.A. and the information they collected on the people of this world. We have to know that we no longer live in the land of the free and home of the brave, but every word we speak or write could be shouted from the rooftops, because the government has access to it all, and can even spy on us via our TV sets (for those who have TVs), our computers, and via our cell phones, etc. They are collecting data on us all the time, and believe me, they do intend to use it against us. The true “last word” in all of this will be this “new deal; new agreement; final passage,” which does not support the constitution of the USA, but will obliterate it. This is the goal.

The article on the U.S. dollar stated that the dollar “edged higher.” What I saw edging higher was the closeness of the rule of this New World Order Beast. There are signs of this all around us which we can all see if we have eyes to see and ears to hear. As well, the adjusting of positions of investors I saw as this adjusting of political positions of power by removing some leaders so that others could move into their place and by holding a “seat” of power for the rule of the Beast (N.W.O.). I saw the groundwork being laid here for the reduction in the Federal… as this shifting of power, this holding of the seat for the rule of the Beast, and this forming and sending forth of this Prussianized military police force in order to contend will all opposing forces to the rule of the Beast. And, the true “reduction” is the lessening, cutback or absolute removal of the U.S. federal government as we now know it, as well as all independent governments within the nations of this world.

He Is Coming!

John to the seven churches that are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

A very difficult time is ahead in America and in the world as a whole, especially for those who bear the name of Jesus Christ, who hold to the testimony of their salvation, and who actively share the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to win people to Christ. Many throughout the world are already suffering great persecution and death at the hand of this U.S. – N.W.O. Beast for their witness for Christ and his gospel, but this is coming to America, too. Yet, we can be encouraged because Christ Jesus will be with us, he will uphold us, and he will get us through these difficult days, and soon he will take us home.

If you have strayed from a pure devotion to your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I pray you will get right with him today, that you will confess your sins, and that you will choose to walk in his Spirit from this day forward. I believe God will use this time to bring many to him or back to him.

The Ungodly

Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.

Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.

These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

The Lord Jesus continues to give me a picture of these “ungodly people,” who pervert the grace of God into a license for immorality and/or who deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord, on two fronts: 1) Political/World and 2) Spiritual/Religious.

On a political and world front, the Lord Jesus continues to show me the lies, corruption, greed, deceptions, and the killings (murders) of innocents, of followers of Christ, and of political opponents to the “International Community,” i.e. to the New World Order (USA and their allies). Our government leaders here in the US (the Obama administration and at least some of Congress, if not the whole of Congress) plus their political allies in the UN, in particular in the UN Security Council, termed the “International Community,” have been involved in political espionage and the conquering of the nations of the world for some time now. And, they use multiple means of conquering in their takeover of other nations, some of which are false flag operations and/or creating false scenarios and stories of what is going on in other nations, via the media, so that they can have an excuse to go into other nations, or our own, in order to take them over, such as may be presently happening with N. Korea, and is definitely happening in Syria and the Ukraine; and is beginning to happen within the USA, and has happened in many other nations throughout the world in recent years.

For instance, the “terrifying situation” inside Syria is not what is being reported in the government-controlled media. Our government and their global allies are standing in direct opposition to the independent rule of Syria, as a nation, and the whole purpose of what is going on inside this nation is for the N.W.O. to consume this nation and to incorporate it into the New World Order (Beast). These evil ones (of the Beast and of Satan) are also inside this nation in pursuit of true followers of Jesus Christ, either to persuade them to change loyalties or else to destroy them. People are being displaced because they are fleeing for their lives to try to avoid persecution or death for non-compliance with the New World Order Beast.

The N.W.O. produces the crisis in these nations, including now within the US, so that they can go into these nations with political solutions, i.e. to take them over. If people want to survive these onslaughts, they must submit/bow to the beast (N.W.O.). The international solidarity being called for is submission to the beast or lose your life or the lives of those you love. I see a similar scenario unfolding inside N. Korea, and I see our government leaders, in particular John Kerry, accusing N. Korea’s leadership of doing exactly what our government leaders and their allies are doing around the globe. The New World Order Beast must conquer all the nations of the world if it is to rule the world as described in Revelation 13, so it must also come against N. Korea, and the US, and every other independent nation in the world which is not presently fully incorporated into the New World Order Beast.

On a Spiritual Front

I believe with all my heart that believers in Jesus Christ across the globe, especially those who hold fast to the testimony of Jesus and who continue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, are under severe attack from the enemy presently, both physically and mentally or emotionally and spiritually. That is nothing new. Yet, the onslaught has severely increased, and I believe the enemy (Satan) is utilizing the US government and their allies (the N.W.O.) to be his “police force” in coming against the saints of God, in persecuting them, and in putting many of them to death. The Lord Jesus keeps showing this to me nation after nation after nation, mostly in these scenarios of political uprisings, but also in these situations of man-made “natural” disasters and severe storms, which are also used in the conquering of nations. This is the true “terrifying situation” presently happening across the globe. Yet, I believe the persecuted church will be and is strengthened of God through this, and is even more determined to keep following Jesus Christ and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ so many can be saved, so that is good news.

Yet, there is another way in which Satan and his human cohorts are presently coming against those of us who hold fast to the testimony of Jesus, who do not deny his name, and who continue to spread the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the regions beyond, or is coming against the gospel itself or against the church as a whole. The means here is also via lies and deception and greed, and it comes in the form of false teaching and a false grace which does not teach death to sin and walking in the Spirit of God in his strength and power within us. It also comes in the form of false philosophy and humanistic thinking and reasoning which have infiltrated the church, and in the form of humanistic marketing schemes and the use of worldly means and methods in order to reach worldly people, but for what? It convinces many that they can play with sensuality and immorality while still maintaining their Christian witness and that God is ok with that. Those who promote this false teaching and false gospel do often fit within the description found here in Jude. They don’t have a conscience at all about what they are doing or the fact that they are leading many people straight to hell via their lies and false hope. And, they will even aggressively attack the characters and witness of God’s people in order to destroy the message.

Contend for the Faith

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Living Water / An Original Work / November 21, 2013

My people have forsaken Me,

Their Savior, who died on a tree;

Made idols, and they worshipped them;

So empty, they will ne’er fulfill.

Lord, You are the hope of Your chosen ones.

Those who turn away from You will be shamed;

The Spring of Living Water left behind.

Living Water satisfies.

The thirsty, let them come and drink;

Believe in Jesus as their King;

The gift of Jesus given them,

So they will never thirst again.

Indeed, the Living Water flows within.

It springs up like a fountain cleansing sin.

Eternal life in heaven promised them.

Living Water glorifies.

Oh people, won’t you come to Him?

Obey Him and repent of sin.

Let Jesus come and live within.

Surrender all your life to Him.

My people, won’t you turn your hearts to Me?

Forsake your idols and then you’ll be free.

Won’t you come now to Me on bended knee?

Love and Purity

Thursday, December 12, 2013, 8:00 a.m. – the Lord Jesus put the song “Open My Heart” into my mind when I sat down to have my quiet time with him this morning. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read 1 John 3 (ESV).

As He Is Pure

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

Everyone who hopes in God purifies himself as God is pure. To be pure means to not be mixed with any other substance, and to be clean and free from impurities. Impurities are substances which adulterate or contaminate something (Encarta). If something is adulterated or contaminated, it is soiled, polluted, foul, dirty, et al. The Bible lists for us many ways in which our lives can be polluted and adulterated with impurities, yet it also names several main categories which involve this mixing with other things: 1) Spiritual Adultery, 2) Idolatry, and 3) Syncretism - the mixture of beliefs or religions.

As followers of Christ, we are married to Jesus Christ. When we give our hearts, passions, desires, time, talents and loyalty and devotion to the things of this world or to the people of this world, in place of or over and above God, or when we give our time and talents to do things for God, but we withhold from him our submission and obedience to his will and to his purposes for our lives, this is spiritual adultery. We cannot be in the practice of being partakers and participators in willful sin and in the values, philosophies, and evil practices of this sinful world, which stand against God, and still abide in Christ. The two don’t mix. Also, when we chase after the pleasures of this life, self-gratification, humanistic ideologies, material possessions, fame and/or other human beings to bring us joy, peace, satisfaction and fulfillment in this life instead of looking to our Lord Jesus to meet all of our needs, this is idolatry. And, when we mix our worship of God with the worship of what is antichrist; with other humans, false doctrines and teachings, greed, or what is worldly, this is syncretism.

So, how do we purify ourselves? To purify means to cleanse, refine, decontaminate and to get rid of or to remove impurities. First of all, we must pray and ask God to show us all impurities in our lives; all idolatries or mixtures with what is worldly or pagan, and then we must be willing to part with all he puts a finger on in our lives. Then, we must yield to his Lordship over our lives and rely on his power and strength within us to reject and to rid our lives of all that is impure and to replace these with what is of God (See Eph. 4-5).

We Know Love

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

What is love? It can be many things, but when God says we should love others or love him, what does he mean? HELPS Word Studies defines the word translated as “love” this way:

With the believer, 25 /agapáō ("to love") means actively doing what the Lord prefers, with Him (by His power and direction). True 25 /agapáō ("loving") is always defined by God – a "discriminating affection which involves choice and selection" (WS, 477). 1 Jn 4:8,16,17 for example convey how loving ("preferring," 25 /agapáō) is Christ living His life through the believer.

Exactly! When God tells us to love others, he means for us to love as he loves, in his power and direction; allowing Christ Jesus to live His life through us, and to minister Christ’s love to those whom he brings into our lives. So, when we love with this kind of love, we will not be selfish, dishonest, disingenuous, purposefully hurtful, or revengeful. We will not require tit-for-tat, i.e. the repayment of a wrong (or perceived wrong) or injury suffered by inflicting equivalent harm on the doer (Source: Encarta), or require that others do for us as we have done for them. We will not tell people lies, even if we mean to encourage them through false flattery, and we will not lie to them in order to save our own skin or to try to mask our own evil intentions or motivations. And, we won’t do for them or say to them just what we think will get us liked in return, but we will always consider what is truly in their best interest and what will meet their genuine needs, but not necessarily their wants. This type of love will be willing to lay down its life, and will be prepared to be hated in return in order to demonstrate Christ’s love to others. Remember Jesus was despised, hated, rejected, mocked, accused falsely and killed because he loved people with God’s love. True love for others is sometimes “tough love.”

As well, this type of love is not talk only, but is action. If we say we love others, or we love God, but our actions speak just the opposite, by God’s standards, not by human standards, then we are just mouthing empty words. We must put our feet where our mouth is and demonstrate Christ’s love, not just by the things we say, but by the things we do.

“Be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil” (Rm. 16:19b).

Open my heart. Let Your truth in.

Make of me a servant, pure within;

Sing of Your praise all of my days.

Let Your Spirit transform all my ways.

Jesus Christ died on a cross to

Save me from my sin.

“Repent of sin. Be cleansed within.

Obey all of His commands today.”

“Why do you doubt? Why do you fear?

Jesus Christ will wipe away your tears.

He cares for you. He feels your pain.

Die to sin, and life with Him you’ll gain.

Follow Him where’er He leads you.

Talk with Him each day.

Then you will know what He has planned

For your life before your world began.”

“Come unto Me, weary in heart.

Let My love and grace to you impart.

Believe in Me. Trust in My care.

Take your burdens to the Lord in prayer.
