Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

The End

Tuesday, January 07, 2014, 8:45 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with the song “Children of the Heavenly Father” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Psalm 11 (NIV).

Foundations Destroyed

In the Lord I take refuge.
    How then can you say to me:
    “Flee like a bird to your mountain.
For look, the wicked bend their bows;
    they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
    at the upright in heart.
When the foundations are being destroyed,
    what can the righteous do?”

The Lord Jesus gave me a practical application of this Biblical principle to today’s world. He led me to read several news articles – a total of seven, covering politically-charged events across the globe, inside the U.S. (Washington D.C. and New York), N. Korea, Iraq, Turkey, Iran, and Bangladesh. The first news article - and I believe the most primary or most significant of the articles - was one about the appointment of Janet Yellen (of Jewish descent) to the position of US Federal Reserve Chair, in place of Ben Bernanke, and beginning February 1st. What I believe the Lord Jesus is showing me here is not just a mere change of a chairperson of the Federal Reserve, but a shift in or a realignment of positions of power within our nation and within the world as a whole. In other words, this change or shift in power is more vast and far-reaching than just encompassing the Federal Reserve of the U.S., but is a political shift in who is in the driver’s seat now globally speaking, setting a course of action in motion worldwide that will bring us back to places we have been before historically, only before my 64 years of life, i.e. the likes of which I have never known.

This shift in power speaks of the end of time, though I certainly don’t know where in that timeline we now find ourselves. Yet, this shift represents the final act of the play or the final part before the return of Christ, i.e. this is pointing in the direction of the end of the world as we know it. Our present administration will take a back seat to this new global leadership in order to hand our nation over to the New World Order Beast. What this means for America (and the world) is that the people of America and the world will be forced into a situation where they will have to let other people take a more active and responsible part in leading and guiding (driving) the direction of their lives and countries, and believers in Jesus Christ (and/or all dissenters) will be forced into a situation where they will no longer have control over their own lives, but will be taken where they do not want to go, much like being thrown into the back of a police vehicle. This speaks of a time prior to the Declaration of Independence for America, i.e. a pre-constitution period of time; pre Bill of Rights.

It also speaks of a revival of a Hitler-like regime, only globally, and with Christians being targeted for extermination, not the Jews. And it speaks of a revival of the Roman Empire where followers of Jesus Christ were killed for the entertainment of those choosing to watch. This shift in power, reminiscent of times past, will involve much shedding of blood, too, most especially representing the Christian martyrs of our past, present and future. This also speaks of death of the old world order (our present forms of government) to a birthing of a new world order (a revival of a very old world order).

Actually, I believe this has already begun, but it is hidden behind the façade that our government leaders present outwardly, so that most of us, particularly here in America, are unaware of what is truly going on around the world and behind the scenes within our own government. In these various countries throughout the world, our nation’s leaders, plus their allies, have been involved in the killing of much innocent foreign blood, the murdering of Christians, and the takeovers of governments, as well as the killing of their own soldiers and many human lives within the U.S. in order to accomplish their evil goals. Now this will come home to roost. This is where we are heading as the world and as our nation; i.e. this is the direction we are being taken by this new leadership, and over which we have no control. And, I believe this is coming to America very soon (in the very near future).

We Will See His Face

The Lord is in his holy temple;
    the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
    his eyes examine them.
The Lord examines the righteous,
    but the wicked, those who love violence,
    he hates with a passion.
On the wicked he will rain
    fiery coals and burning sulfur;
    a scorching wind will be their lot.
For the Lord is righteous,
    he loves justice;
    the upright will see his face.

The reassuring part in all of this, though, is that the Lord is in his holy temple and he is on his heavenly throne. Amen! He is absolutely in control over all things. He has allowed these events to occur for his purposes, for his glory, and for the transformation of human lives away from living for self and sin to new (or revived) lives in Christ Jesus dedicated to walking in his holiness and righteousness in the power, grace, wisdom and strength of the Spirit within us. He knows that he must send this divine discipline upon us in order to make us holy and to get his adulterous people to return to him as their only Lord (see Revelation 2-3; 12-22). Yet, he will never leave us or forsake us. He will give us all we need to make it through this difficult time in history, and he will carry us through into his eternal kingdom.

Although he uses the wicked as his divine instruments of discipline upon his children, for the purposes of correction and/or to mature us in Christ and to draw us to his breast, he will one day soon judge them with the outpouring of his wrath. Yet, for those who put their faith and trust in him, and who believe in his promises, they will one day see him face to face in glory, and they will forever be with their Lord. Amen! And, he will wipe away all the tears from our eyes. There will be no more death, sorrow or pain, for the old order of this world will pass away, and we will see the new order of the new heaven and the new earth and of Jesus Christ’s reign and rule where evil will never be allowed to enter. Amen!

Children of the Heavenly Father
Karolina W. Sandell-Berg / Ernst W. Olson / Oskar Ahnfelt

Children of the heav’nly Father
 Safely in His bosom gather;
 Nestling bird nor star in Heaven
 Such a refuge e’er was given.

God His own doth tend and nourish;
 In His holy courts they flourish;
 From all evil things He spares them;
 In His mighty arms He bears them.

Neither life nor death shall ever
 From the Lord His children sever;
 Unto them His grace He showeth,
 And their sorrows all He knoweth.

Though He giveth or He taketh,
 God His children ne’er forsaketh;
 His the loving purpose solely
 To preserve them pure and holy.

Lo, their very hairs He numbers,
 And no daily care encumbers
 Them that share His ev’ry blessing
 And His help in woes distressing.

Praise the Lord in joyful numbers:
 Your Protector never slumbers.
 At the will of your Defender

 Ev’ry foeman must surrender.

Troubled Times

Monday, January 06, 2014, 5:40 p.m. – the song “Why Are You Afraid?” suddenly began playing in my mind, seemingly out of nowhere, so I began to inquire of the Lord if he had something he wanted to say to me. I checked the news to see what was going on in the world, and then I began reading in the Psalms again, prayerfully. I read Psalm 6-10, and the Lord Jesus stopped me at Psalm 10 (NIV).

Is the Lord Hidden?

Why, Lord, do you stand far off?
    Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

Many throughout the world are going through troubled times right now. There are such things as earthquakes, famines, floods, snow and wind storms, ice, extreme cold, tsunamis, cyclones, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, pestilence, disease, hunger, loss of loved ones to death or divorce, and homelessness, etc. which are bringing much hardship to the people of this world. There are also wars, terrorism, coups, and uprisings, etc. which are taking place in nation after nation across the globe, displacing people from their homes and causing enormous loss of human life. As well, multitudes of Christ’s followers are being persecuted and murdered for their faith in Jesus Christ and for their testimony for Jesus and for his gospel all across the globe, and soon to come to America, too.

In such troubled times it might be natural to wonder, “Where is God in all of this?” Even Jesus’ own followers may be so distraught by the attack of enemy forces against them that they may begin to wonder if God has distanced himself from us, and if he has hidden his face from those whom he loves. I know that it can be difficult at times to see God in such difficult times as these, or to feel his presence among us, especially when evil reigns and seems such a strong force against us at times. Yet, God said he would never leave those who are truly his and that he would never forsake us. We may not always feel him there, and it may even appear that he is missing from action, but he is not. All that is going on in our lives is under his control, he knows exactly what he is doing, and he will work it all out for his purposes, for his glory, and for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to his purpose. So, we should trust him completely and not be afraid.

No Room for God

In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,
    who are caught in the schemes he devises.
He boasts about the cravings of his heart;
    he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.
In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
    in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
His ways are always prosperous;
    your laws are rejected by him;
    he sneers at all his enemies.
He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.”
    He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.”
His mouth is full of lies and threats;
    trouble and evil are under his tongue.
He lies in wait near the villages;
    from ambush he murders the innocent.
His eyes watch in secret for his victims;
    like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;
    he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.
His victims are crushed, they collapse;
    they fall under his strength.
He says to himself, “God will never notice;
    he covers his face and never sees.”

Wow! What an accurate description of the wicked! These are those who do not honor God as holy, who do not bow to his Lordship over their lives, who do not worship him in spirit and in truth, but perhaps in form only, who take God for granted, and who think his grace gives them a free license to sin without repercussion. They are those who deny him, betray his loved ones, trample on his mercy and forgiveness, and who continue in willful sin and rebellion, in lies and deceit, in murder, hatred, violence, gossip, lust, greed and in adultery, often with seared consciences. They are also those who flat out reject him as Lord and Savior of their lives, and who make no bones about it, either. They continue in their evil ways because they think God either doesn’t notice, that he doesn’t care, or that he will do nothing, because they have not yet experienced his wrath, or because someone has fed them a lie that God is all love (no wrath), and that he accepts everyone just as they are, and that he would never judge us nor would he condemn anyone to hell.

Not everyone who rejects Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives fits this description, though. There are many “good deed doers” and kind people among unbelievers who will also spend eternity in hell because they rejected Christ. Yet, there are many evildoers who take advantage of the weak or of those less fortunate than them by way of lies, deception, adultery, trickery, gossip and slander, murder of the innocent, falsely accusing those they feel are their enemies, trumped up charges, false flag operations, covert operations, war, man-made disasters via weather manipulation, theft of the people, and changing of laws to suit their evil purposes, etc. I believe such evil exists in the government of the U.S.A., in particular in the Obama administration, in combination with the “International Community,” alias the “New World Order Beast” which is presently conquering one nation at a time and is bringing them into subjection, and is persecuting and murdering the saints of Almighty God. Yet, God does see, and one day soon he is going to come in judgment.

He’ll Not Forget

Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
    Do not forget the helpless.
Why does the wicked man revile God?
    Why does he say to himself,
    “He won’t call me to account”?
But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted;
    you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;
    you are the helper of the fatherless.
Break the arm of the wicked man;
    call the evildoer to account for his wickedness
    that would not otherwise be found out.
The Lord is King for ever and ever;
    the nations will perish from his land.
You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
    you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
    so that mere earthly mortals
    will never again strike terror.

Our Lord will not forget his servants, even if it may feel as though he is far away. He will allow us to be persecuted and killed for our testimonies for Jesus Christ, but only for a time. Through this time of great persecution revival will come to the church and many will be saved as a result, I believe, so these things must come in order to prepare God’s people to meet their Lord (and husband), and many are not yet ready or are not yet saved.

Yet, he has not forgotten us. He is right here in our midst. He will give us all the encouragement, comfort, guidance and direction we need to make it through these troubled times, too. For many of us, these times will end in our deaths, and for others they will be severely persecuted. And, one day, when the time is right, and when all who will be saved are saved, Jesus Christ will return and he will judge the wicked and he will reward his righteous servants, and all will be well, because we will be forever with our Lord. Amen!

Why Are You Afraid? / An Original Work / December 5, 2013

Based off Various Scriptures

Do not be afraid.
Your Lord is always by your side.
Serve the Lord in righteousness
Before Him all your days.

Those who hate the light
Will not come to the Lord.
They fear their deeds
Might be noticed.
So, they hate the light,
And they embrace the night.

Do not be afraid,
Although your enemy attacks.
Dare to share your testimony
Of God’s saving grace.

Do not fear their threats,
But honor Christ, your Lord.
Be prepared to give an answer
For the hope you have,
With gentleness; respect.

Why are you afraid?
For all that’s hidden will be shown.
What I tell you, speak in daylight.
Let the truth be known.

Do not be afraid
Of those who’ll take your life.
Fear the Lord with understanding.
Trust Him with your life,
And give not up to strife.

Do not be afraid.
Take courage, it is I, your Lord.
Bow before Me; now adore Me.
Oh, why do you doubt?

Listen to the Lord.
Get up, and bear His name!
Run and tell the world He loves them.
Jesus came to save.
Give Him your all today.

Fellowship With Him

Monday, January 06, 2014, 8:45 a.m. – I woke several times in the night and in the early morning. Each time that I woke up, the same song was going through my head – “Songs in the Night” – how appropriate! Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Psalm 2-5 prayerfully, asking the Lord to show me which Psalm he wanted me to focus on today. He stopped me at Psalm 5 (NIV).

Listen to my words, Lord,
    consider my lament.
Hear my cry for help,
    my King and my God,
    for to you I pray.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
    in the morning I lay my requests before you
    and wait expectantly.

Lord, I am so thankful;
Through my Lord, I’m able
To sit at His table;
Fellowship with Him.
I will thank Him always!

What an awesome privilege we have, as followers of Jesus Christ, to sit at his table each day, to fellowship with him, to lay our requests before him, and to listen to him speaking his words to our hearts! We are able to come daily into his presence because Jesus Christ was our perfect Lamb sacrifice who died for our sins, and who made the way possible for us to come boldly before the throne of grace. Amen! May we never take this for granted! Not only do we have the privilege to come into God’s presence each day, and even throughout the night, to talk with him and him with us, but we have the promise and the hope that he hears us and that he will answer all those who call on him in truth (Ps. 145:18-19; 1 Pet. 3:12; Jas. 1:6:4:2-3). So we wait expectantly, because we believe that he hears us; because we ask according to his will (1 John 5:14-15).

Our individual requests to God may be as distinctive as we are, and as unique as our specific circumstances might be. Yet, if we are asking with the right motives (Jas. 4:1-10), he will hear us and he will answer. The answer still may not be what we had hoped for, but it will always be what is best for us. Sometimes the answer will be “wait a while longer,” or it may be “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in your weakness.” Yet, it will be the Lord speaking to our hearts, and we should find comfort and hope in that alone. The Psalmist David understood this. God did not always deliver him from his troubles, but he delivered him through them. In other words, David was comforted in the fellowship he had with his Lord, and in the times spent with him in prayer and in song, and in worship of God; and in the knowledge that God was with him, that God knew what was going on in David’s life, that God cared about David’s struggles and the oppression he was going through from his enemies, and that God would carry him through and would bring him safely into God’s eternal kingdom. God was everything to David, and David knew that his Lord would sustain him all things, and that he would give him all he needed to make it through each day.

They Cannot Stand

For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
    with you, evil people are not welcome.
The arrogant cannot stand
    in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
    you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.

While it is true that God hates all wickedness, and that the wicked are not welcome and will not be able to stand before God in his presence, and even that he hates all wrong doing, and that ultimately he will destroy those who make a practice of telling lies, and all those who are thirsty for the blood of the innocent, and all those who practice deceit, still God allows the wicked to dwell among the righteous for a time, and he will even allow evil to reign on the earth for a short and predetermined period of time, as well as he will even use them as his divine instruments of judgment on the earth, and against his wayward people.

So, when David prayed for relief from his enemies, and even for God to judge the wicked, he knew he was praying according to God’s will, yet he also submitted to God’s perfect timing. The Bible says that God is not slow in keeping his promises, though, but he is patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (See 2 Peter 3). I, for one, am very thankful for his patience and his mercy, and that he didn’t give up on me, but he was patient with me for me to surrender my all to him. Yet, a time is coming when he will judge this earth and the people on the earth, and when he does, you may die and all your chances for repentance may be gone, so don’t wait. Whatever you may be holding on to in this life is not worth it, and you can’t take it with you. Surrender your all to Christ today, and enjoy his sweet fellowship, comfort, joy and peace everlasting.

By Your Great Love

But I, by your great love,
    can come into your house;
in reverence I bow down
    toward your holy temple.
Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness
    because of my enemies—
    make your way straight before me…

Truly it is only by God’s great love and grace that any of us are able to come into his presence, to be made righteous before him, and to be given the hope of eternal life with God in glory. Not one of us deserves salvation and eternal life, and there is nothing any one of us can do to earn such a great salvation. It is offered to us as a free gift by God’s grace. Yet, in order to receive this gift of salvation, we must, by faith, surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, let his Spirit transform our hearts away from living for self and sin toward walking in Christ’s righteousness and holiness, and we must put on our new lives in Christ Jesus, “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (See Eph. 4:17-24).

Jesus said that if anyone wants to come after him, he or she must deny his self-life, die daily to sin and self and follow him in obedience. He said if we want to hold on to our old lives of living for self and sin, we will lose them for eternity, but if we willing die to what once bound us, we will gain eternal life with God in glory (See Lu. 9:23-25). You may ask then, “Where is grace?” This is grace! Titus 2:11-14 (NIV) says this about God’s grace:

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

If our understanding of grace is a free ride into heaven by God’s grace and that faith is a mere acknowledgement or acceptance of such, then we have not understood God’s grace. True divine grace delivers us out of bondage to sin. It is the work of the Spirit of God, and truly this is not anything we can accomplish in our own flesh, yet we must cooperate fully with that work. That is the meaning of faith. It is submission to God in allowing the Spirit of God to change us and to make us into new creatures in Christ Jesus, and in allowing his Spirit to live out his life through us. We don’t become puppets on a string when we receive Christ as Savior and Lord of our lives. We must willingly yield to his control over our lives day by day (See Lu. 9:23-25; Gal. 5:16; Eph. 5:2; 1 John 1:6-7; 2 John 1:6; Rom. 6; etc.).

Be Glad and Rejoice

But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
    let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
    that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
    you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

David was up against great enemies, many of whom were breathing murderous threats against him, which is the background of many of the Psalms, which often were his cries for mercy and for deliverance from his foes. Many believers in Jesus Christ today are being faced with similar circumstances. There are thousands upon thousands of followers of Christ throughout the world who are either being severely persecuted for their faith and testimony for Jesus Christ and/or they are being martyred for their stand for Jesus Christ and the gospel of salvation. I believe with my whole heart that multitudes are suffering such persecution at the hands of the U.S./New World Order, and that this is coming to the U.S.A., too, and to other western countries where this is not yet present.

Yet, we should respond to these trying times by taking refuge in the Lord and by singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs in praise and adoration of our Lord, and for the joy of knowing that many people will come to Jesus Christ through these trials; and that Christ’s adulterous church will be revived and will be restored to fellowship with their Lord. Amen! We should also respond in joy, knowing that God loves us, and that nothing will come into our lives but what he has allowed it, and he has allowed it for a specific purpose – to strengthen, encourage, counsel, and mature us, and to make us holy, ready to meet our Lord. So, when we come up against these difficulties, and they will come, we should call out to our Lord in prayer, trust in his love and his tender mercies, believe him to work it all out for good in our lives, and praise and thank him for his many blessings to us.

Songs in the Night / An Original Work / December 18, 2013

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God,
And the other prisoners were listening to them.” Acts 16:25 NIV ‘84

Lord, I praise You forevermore.
You, my Savior, I now adore.
Hope in heaven awaiting me,
Because You died at Calvary.

I have been forgiven,
And I’m bound for heaven.
Jesus set me free from
All my sin, I say.
I will praise Him always!

Lord, I love You for all You’ve done:
Overcame death, my vict’ry won!
Jesus saved me, and now I’m free!
I rejoice in His love for me.

I will walk in vict’ry!
My sin is but hist’ry!
I am free to please Him
With my life today.
I will love Him always!

Lord, I thank You for giving me
A new life bought at Calvary.
Loving Jesus, I meet with Him.
Tender mercies now flow within.

Lord, I am so thankful;
Through my Lord, I’m able
To sit at His table;
Fellowship with Him.
I will thank Him always!

We Delight!

Sunday, January 05, 2014, 6:00 a.m. – After I had woken this morning, the Lord Jesus put the song in mind, “We Will Sing!” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Psalm 1 (NIV).

Walk in Step

Blessed is the one
    who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
    or sit in the company of mockers…

Our walk is our way of life; our lifestyle; our value system; i.e. the way or manner in which we choose to live our lives. Happy and fulfilled are we who do not walk in the manner of the wicked. We are at peace when we choose to not keep in step with this sinful world, i.e. to not be influenced by them to such an extent that we move with them at their pace, and imitate their actions, value system and/or behaviors. What this means is that, to the best of our ability, we must limit the input of the world’s system into our lives so that we are not allowing ourselves to be purposefully influenced by it, so that we are not as likely to walk in its ways.

To be honest here, when we spend a great deal of our free time watching TV or movies, surfing the net, playing video or computer games, especially to the exclusion of or to the vast reduction of time spent with the Lord Jesus at his feet, in his word and in prayer, by contrast, we just set ourselves up to walk in the steps of the wicked, and not in the ways of Christ, because we will tend to adopt the ways to which we dedicate the most time, attention, affection and value. When we stand in the way sinners take, in other words, we submit ourselves and we subject ourselves to their ways; and we may even buy into and fight resolutely for sinful ways and practices we have now adopted into our lives.

We should also not sit in the company of mockers. A mocker is one who treats others with scorn or contempt or who mimics others in such a way as to disdain them and to make fun of them, often in a very disapproving manner, and also often in a manner which is intended to make the other person appear ridiculous to others. The reality is that, here in America, this is so commonplace in our culture, but much of it is derived, I believe, via the media – movies, TV shows, internet “mimes,” comedians, and even is evident in music. We become like what we choose to expose ourselves to most often. What we take into our minds, and we give approval to by being entertained by it, is often what then becomes our own value system, and is what comes out in our speaking and in our behavior. We are not to keep company with mockers, which means we should not make them our close friends and companions, whether in real life or via those we keep “company” with via the media.

Our Delight

…but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and who meditates on his law day and night.

Instead, our delight (joy, pleasure, happiness, and satisfaction) should be in the word of God. I think so many people have this idea that, as followers of Christ, we are to have a specified time each day in which we pray and read God’s word, and we call this our devotions or our quiet time, and many will teach that even 5-15 minutes a day will suffice. And, we have the idea that this time we give to God each day is enough and then the rest of the day is ours to do what we choose. This is not God’s idea of delighting in him and in his word and of meditating on his word day and night, yet many of us have had this modeled to us or taught to us, and so that is what we follow, if we do even that much. And, even many who perform this daily ritual or duty do so mechanically and thus walk away and forget what they even read, and thus it has no influence in their day to day lives.

To delight in God’s word, though, gives us a completely different image. Is the word of God truly our delight, joy, satisfaction, enjoyment, and pleasure? Or is our delight more in the things of this life? We should take delight in our children and in our spouses, and I know, as a mother of four and a grandmother of 12, that little children consume much of our day hours, and so for parents of small children it can often be a challenge to find that quiet time alone with God before the children wake in the morning or before we go to bed at night, so we have to be more creative, if this is our situation. The word of God can be playing in the background during the day while we care for our children, or we can take it in via spiritual songs and hymns. The Lord Jesus has blessed me with a gift for writing spiritual songs these past few years, and what a blessing they have been in my life, for they are all based off scripture, and thus I have the word of God going on in my head throughout the day.

I think many times, here in America, Christians find way too much delight in the things of this world, including sinful things (which can be being entertained by sin via TV/movies), and Christ and his word have little place in their lives, if they even spend any time with him throughout their day at all. This is all backwards. Christ and his word should permeate our lives, all throughout our day, as he and his word should be so much a part of our lives that we live and breathe it throughout our day in all that we do. Christ and his word should never be taken for granted, or placed inside a small ritualistic form of worship we go through each day, but Jesus and his word should be our joy to the extent that he and it are the greatest influence in our lives, and that we walk in his ways, and do what he says, and that we do so, not begrudgingly, but we long to be with him, to take in his word, and to do what his word says for the glory of God and for the advancement of his eternal kingdom.

A Tree Planted

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
    which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.
Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff
    that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
    nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
    but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

God does not promise us that following him will be easy or that we will no longer be faced with trials or tribulations. In fact, he promises just the opposite. So, this is not a promise here, that if we delight in Christ and in his word, and if we do not walk in the ways of the wicked, that things will now be smooth and unruffled. No, what this promises us is that if truly our delight is in Christ and his word, and if truly his word is planted in our hearts and minds in such a way so that we walk in the ways of the Lord and not in the way of the wicked, we will be steady, committed, and faithful followers of Christ who find their life source and fulfillment in him, and who thus bear fruit (outgrowth) for his kingdom.

The way (lifestyle) of the wicked (sinner), though, does not yield such fruit, for it is not firmly planted in Christ and his word, but in the ways, methods and value system of this world, which will never satisfy the deep longings of our soul, and which will only bring temporary happiness but never lasting and eternal joy. So, make sure today that your delight is in Christ and in his word and not in the ways of this sinful world, for this world and its desires will soon fade away, but the one who does the will of God lives forever.

We Will Sing! / An Original Work / December 4, 2013

Based off The Psalms

I will praise You, Lord, among all peoples.
I will praise You for all that You have done.
I called to the Lord, and He heard my cry.
He turned weeping into a song of joy!

I will sing praise to my Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God evermore.

I will praise You, Lord, for Your mighty works,
For Your love is great, reaching to the heav’ns.
O my Strength, I sing my praise unto You,
For Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

I will sing praise to my Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God evermore.

Shout with joy to God all who’re on the earth.
Say to God, “O how awesome are Your deeds.”
The redeemed sing praise to their Savior, King,
For He saved them all in His righteousness.

We will sing praise to our Lord all our lives;
We will sing praise to our God evermore.

Take Courage!

Saturday, January 04, 2014, 5:36 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with the song “Why Are You Afraid?” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Matthew 14:22-33 (NIV):

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

“Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Buffeted By Waves

John the Baptist had just been beheaded by the king, in response to a promise the king had made to his wife’s daughter. Upon hearing the news of John’s death, Jesus withdrew by boat to a private place. When Jesus reached land, he was moved to compassion toward the crowd of people who had followed him there. He healed their sick, and he miraculously fed their bellies. Afterwards, he sent his disciples on ahead of him by boat, he dismissed the crowd of people, and he went up on a mountainside to pray.

Later on that night, the boat on which the disciples had been sent ahead of Jesus was being pounded by the waves because the wind was against it. In the case of this story, the winds and waves were literal, and they may be for us, too, as many right now are suffering the ill effects of severe weather storms of great magnitude, many of which I believe are man-made. The new winter storm in the U.S. was named “Ion,” which reportedly will bring sub-freezing temperatures and a cyclone-like storm. This follows on the tail of winter storm Hercules. An ion, is “an atom or molecule in which the total number of electrons is not equal to the total number of protons, giving the atom a net positive or negative electrical charge.” - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ion. I admit I don’t understand ion. Yet, from what I read, they are used in weather manipulation. So, I suspect this is another man-made storm.

Yet, there are other types of storms which hit our lives, too. Some of these man-made storms, for instance, are given specific names which I believe tell a story beyond just the storm itself, and speak of a political movement sweeping across the globe like a storm, which is taking the nations of this world by storm, and that is this New World Order Beast which is conquering one nation at a time, and is persecuting and killing Christ’s true servants and messengers, too. And, all this is leading up to this rule of the beast spoken about in the book of Revelation, and in other books of the Bible, too. Many people throughout the world are suffering the ill effects of this “storm,” too, as many have been uprooted, have lost their homes, are living in tents or shelters or in U.N. camps, and have lost the lives of loved ones, and have had their governments taken over, etc.

And, then there are those who are facing marital difficulties, trouble with their children, ill health, death of loved ones, financial woes, hardship, disease, rejection, persecution, abandonment, betrayal, etc. There are many types of “storms” which come into our lives and which beat against us to try to wear us down, to try to get us disheartened and discouraged, or are for the purpose to strengthen us and to draw us closer to God or to bring us back to God because we have strayed away from our pure devotion to our Lord.

Don’t Be Afraid

No matter what form our present storm may be in, what is universally true is that God is absolutely in control of all things and is over all things, and nothing can come into our lives unless God has allowed it and he has allowed it for a purpose, and he intends to get the glory through it. Nothing takes God by surprise. And, he is certainly not incapable of stopping any of these storms if he wants to, as well, for he remains all powerful. So whatever storm is beating you down and is pounding against you, perhaps as a negative energy force for the sole purpose to try to get you to give up or to give in, God has it handled and he is right there in the midst of it all, and he will see us through it if we put our trust in him. That doesn’t mean he will rescue us from it, though he may, and it does not mean he will calm the actual storm, though he might do that, too, but what he does promise is peace within, assurance of his care and his presence, and that he will give us the strength, courage, and determination to remain strong in our faith despite the waves.

So, we don’t have to be afraid of whatever may come our way, no matter how severe or how difficult it may be, for if we put our trust in Jesus Christ, he will give us all we need to make it through, and he will give us the wisdom and encouragement we need, as well, to know what to do and what to say when those times come, and they will come. We get afraid when we get our eyes off of Jesus Christ and we focus on our winds and waves, i.e. on the difficult circumstances of our lives. Yet, it is during those times of difficulty when we often can see God work in our lives in miraculous ways. We just have to believe, and not doubt.

Why Are You Afraid? / An Original Work / December 5, 2013

Based off Various Scriptures

Do not be afraid.
Your Lord is always by your side.
Serve the Lord in righteousness
Before Him all your days.

Those who hate the light
Will not come to the Lord.
They fear their deeds
Might be noticed.
So, they hate the light,
And they embrace the night.

Do not be afraid,
Although your enemy attacks.
Dare to share your testimony
Of God’s saving grace.

Do not fear their threats,
But honor Christ, your Lord.
Be prepared to give an answer
For the hope you have,
With gentleness; respect.

Why are you afraid?
For all that’s hidden will be shown.
What I tell you, speak in daylight.
Let the truth be known.

Do not be afraid
Of those who’ll take your life.
Fear the Lord with understanding.
Trust Him with your life,
And give not up to strife.

Do not be afraid.
Take courage, it is I, your Lord.
Bow before Me; now adore Me.
Oh, why do you doubt?

Listen to the Lord.
Get up, and bear His name!
Run and tell the world He loves them.
Jesus came to save.
Give Him your all today.

Nothing Impure

Thursday, January 02, 2014, 5:00 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with the song “My Jesus, My Savior” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Revelation 21 (NIV).

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal…

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The Cowardly

I read several news stories, which I will reference below. The first one I read is about a new winter storm that is hitting the northeast, in particular it is hitting hard in New York. The storm has been named Hercules. If you studied Greek and Roman mythology in school, then you have probably read about him. He was supposedly the son of a god (male) and a mortal (female), i.e. he is another antichrist figure. He was considered a hero. He is described as having been “multi-faceted” (or two-faced) with “contrary characteristics,” and was known for his strength and his “numerous far-reaching adventures.” I read that he had a “great number of deeds on the side.” His final task was to bring “the three-headed watchdog of the underworld, Cerberus, to the surface without using any weapons.” Evidently Hercules was able to capture two of the three heads and then the dog gave in.

This reminded me of a movie that came out this past March titled “Olympus Has Fallen.” Immediately the title caught my attention, because of the scriptures here in Revelation where it says “Babylon has fallen.” The movie was about an attack on Washington, D.C., thus connecting D.C. and Olympus and Babylon. In the movie, someone needed the access codes to a system in the bunker called Cerberus (the name of this 3-headed dog, one of the heads being the president); a hellhound which guards the gates of the underworld. In my research of D.C., I learned that the statue that sits atop our capital building is a mythological goddess (queen of the underworld). The obvious 3-headed dog in D.C. would be the President (Executive), Congress (Legislative) and the Supreme Court (Judicial). It sounds as though “Hercules’” job is to bring the US government into captivity to (unity with) the New World Order Beast, so that our government will finally concede fully to the new order, and that this is the message with this “storm” hitting New York being named “Hercules.” In other words, our country is being taken by storm by this “Hercules” figure.

The Lord Jesus gave me a picture of this Hercules figure. This person (or entity) has established himself in a particular medium (or means; vehicle), like a public office, for instance, which is set on a particular course foreign to his native environment, i.e. foreign to his own home or country. He is being driven or he is determined and motivated by a path (method or system) which is new, different or unusual, i.e. the New World Order. He is going outside his covenantal relationships (his agreements or oaths of office) to what is foreign and new, i.e. this is a picture of someone in an adulterous (political) relationship with a foreign power and in betrayal of his own people (his own nation). This person is two-faced, i.e. he presents an image outwardly contrary to his true character, and for the purpose to deceive and to hide his true intentions. His goal is to lead his own people to believe he is doing one thing, while he is doing just the opposite. This definitely fits with the description of Hercules. Politically speaking, this is the way of the New World Order which is abandoning the old order (our present form of government). Leaders within our own government, who have adopted the ways of the New World Order, thus, are insiders who are working to betray us, and to hand over the United States of America to the beast.

One of the ways in which we are being betrayed and handed over can be read about in the new law Obama just signed at the end of the year, i.e. the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014, which gives Obama the authority to arrest and incarcerate indefinitely American citizens on the suspicion of them being a threat to the security of the nation, thus removing the Bill of Rights, and including the authority to kill American citizens on the suspicion of being a threat, without trial or the normal due course of law. Presently our government is collecting all kinds of data on its citizens, such as emails, text messages, phone calls and social media site posts and photographs, and is putting this information into a data base for the purpose of labeling those the president deems to be a threat. From what I understand, evangelical Christians may be at the top of this list of potential “terrorist” threats to the nation, because evangelical Christianity, which Jesus taught, is considered “religious extremism” and is thus classified in the area of a “hate crime” against humanity. They must eliminate us because Christ’s followers are the biggest threat to Satan’s rule.

The Phoenix

I read a few more news articles, one of which concerned a father who apparently killed his two daughters and then himself, and a father who killed his 13 year old son with an ax. The second story took place in Phoenix. This story jumped out at me because of the symbology of the Phoenix (bird) in relation to the US government and the New World Order. The Phoenix symbolizes the death of the old world order and the rise of the new order out of the ashes of the old. We just completed the year 2013, and now we are in 2014. The boy killed was 13 years old. The article spoke of a violent beginning to the New Year, which I believe is the picture of the transition of the old order to the new order via the death of 2013 and the birth of 2014, i.e. I believe we are going to begin to see some of these things talked about here come to fruition this year, as the “father” of our nation puts to death the old order so that the new order can rise out of its ashes. This also fits with the murder-suicide scenario, as well, because we are being destroyed from within, i.e. the snake eating its own tail, in other words. The two daughters could symbolize the US Government and Church, i.e. the Great Prostitute, i.e. Babylon the Great being destroyed by the beast, and from within.

The other news story was concerning this new mayor of New York City. He was a symbol of the Phoenix bird, as well, and that of Hercules, for the picture painted is that the new administration is going to fix the mess created by the previous administration. He is the “hero” who is going to save New York. Going along with that, I also read a sports news story, and I don’t follow sports at all, but because of the wording in the title. Evidently a player was suspended, and this suspension sent a message that no one is above the rules, no matter how high up they are. The article followed this with the phrase “how novel,” which means new or different or tale (or tail, in this case, perhaps).

The Lord connected this then with the story about the new administration in New York, because there was a caption in that article that read: “I have a bold plan to break from the Bloomberg years” (the old order) “and end ‘The Tale of Two Cities.’” The two cities in this novel were in England and France, which were the “father” nations of the U.S., so it is possible that we (the US) serve as its “tail,” i.e. the tail of the snake. So, this would be saying, in essence, that this is about putting an end to the United States of America, which I believe to be the message in all of these articles mentioned. As well, the novel was set in the setting of the French Revolution, which was discussed in a previous writing, and is a picture of a totalitarian government removing religious freedoms and going after those who claim faith in Jesus Christ, i.e. this is about the death of Christianity, equating Christianity with “the reign of terror” (See: http://originalworks.info/the-blood-of-his-servants/).

Righteousness and Evil

In this passage of scripture we have encouragement and hope, though, for those who hold true to the word of God, the gospel of our salvation, who do not deny Christ nor do they bow to the beast, and thus they are persecuted and even martyred for their faith. One day Jesus Christ will return and take us to be with himself, and then there will be a new heaven and a new earth and the old order of this world system will be put to death and we will reign with Christ in glory for eternity. The Dragon, Beast and False Prophet will be removed, we will no longer suffer or be sad or be tempted to sin, and God will wipe away every tear from our eyes. Amen! Oh, how I look forward to that day. We will get to be with our Lord forever! Those who are victorious over Satan and sin via Jesus’ shed blood on the cross for our sins and via our faith in Jesus Christ, will inherit eternal life with God.

Yet, for those who practice, i.e. who are established in sinful lifestyles, as such was the picture of this Hercules figure; who are morally (or sexually) impure, who murder, and who are among the cowardly, as discussed in this writing, i.e. the adulterous and betrayers, and those who practice lies as a way to cover up their evil deeds, these will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur, for nothing impure will ever enter into God’s eternal kingdom. In other words, those who have rejected Jesus Christ and his blood sacrifice for their sins, even those who claim to know him but by their deeds show they do not, will not enter into God’s eternal kingdom. Only those whose names are in the Lamb’s book of Life will enter.

So, if you are playing with sin, and you are like Hercules, and you are living a lie, pretending to be one thing while you are living like hell, get right with God today while you still have today, because truly these are troubled times and you may not have tomorrow.

My Jesus, My Savior / Michael W. Smith

My Jesus, My Saviour,
Lord there is no one like you,
All of my days, I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love.

My comfort, my shelter,
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You…

The Blood of His Servants

Tuesday, December 31, 2013, 6:30 a.m. – the Lord Jesus woke me with the song “Courageous” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 19 (NIV).

After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:

“Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
    for true and just are his judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
    who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”
And again they shouted: …

“Hallelujah!
    For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
    and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
    and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

…I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

King of kings and lord of lords…

The Challenger

The Lord Jesus led me to read several news articles, one of which was concerning a new song out by recording artist Beyoncé. Beyoncé came to the limelight for her halftime performance at this year’s Super bowl, which was a sexual and seductive performance that was fraught with evil and Satanic imagery. I didn’t watch the performance, only saw very short snippets of it in the news, and that was enough, and only because I believed the performance had a political message to it, and which is also why I believe the Lord led me to read about her newest song, because I believe there is a message in there, too, for the world, and that it comes from Satan and his Beast New World Order (Illuminati/Masons).

Beyoncé, evidently, opened her song with a clip from an audio recording of the Challenger shuttle explosion, which is now being criticized as insensitive to the families of those who lost loved ones that day. The article states: “It's a stark contract to the rest of the video for the song...in which Beyoncé is hanging out at the amusement park in Coney Island.” The word “contract” could have been a typographical error on the part of the writer, or there could also be a hidden meaning there, too, yet what I believe the Lord Jesus is showing me here is that the message in her song is that they (the New World Order Beast) will find enjoyment and pleasure in the killing of all challengers (opposition) to the N.W.O., but in particular there is a reference here, I believe, to the games at the Roman Coliseum in which Christians were martyred for the enjoyment and entertainment of the spectators.

Twin Bombings

The Lord Jesus also led me to read a news article about supposed terror attacks in Russia just six weeks prior to the Olympic Games, which begin February 8th, it appears. Purportedly there were twin bombings less than 24 hours apart from each other in the city of Volgograd, “formerly known as Stalingrad.” Chechen Muslim rebel leader Doku Umarov is the suspect in the bombings. And, he supposedly made this statement concerning the Olympic Games: “The games are Satanic dancing on the bones of our ancestors.” As soon as I read that statement, that immediately brought to recall Beyoncé’s song and music video, for I believe that her song was “Satanic dancing on the bones of our ancestors,” i.e. on the bones of those who lost their lives that day in the Challenger Disaster, but also on the bones of those who lost their lives in martyrdom in the Roman Coliseum, a reference to a different kind of “games,” and “ancestors,” but a prelude to what is yet to come, I believe.

I believe that the two stories combined together are telling about what is happening now and yet what is yet to come, and that is the death of multitudes of “challengers” to the New World Order, and for the entertainment of the elite and their cohorts in the New Order of the Ages. The article about the Russian attacks was titled “Russian terror attacks could be chilling prelude to Olympic violence.” There is that word “prelude” again. I believe the Lord Jesus is showing me that the true “Olympic violence” is that of the New World Order Beast and of the Great Prostitute which rides the beast, and that is this revival of sorts of the Games in the Roman Coliseum, only viewed globally through wireless monitors from all over the world; and is the martyrdom of Christians for sport and entertainment, i.e. this killing of “the challenger” (the opposition to Satan and his rule), which is truly Jesus Christ and his followers. And, that it comes (or originates) via a different “Olympus,” i.e. Washington, D.C., the true “wielder of the spear,” i.e. the true enemy (god of war) present among us.

Religious Extremists

I also read an article about supposed terrorist attacks in Xinjiang, China. The article states: “Eight assailants, wielding knives and explosives, were killed by police, while another suspect was detained after the stand-off.” I believe very much that the true terrorists are of the U.S. government and their allies in the New World Order, and are not of the accused. And, I believe, as well, that the U.S. government and their allies are in the practice of blaming others for their own dirty work, and that they label these people as “terrorists” so that they have an excuse to go after them and kill them, which they did, I believe.

The “terrorists” had purportedly been encouraging “religious extremists” philosophies. The article named “three evils” responsible or contributing to the rise in terrorist activity – “terrorism,” “separatism” (independence) and “religious extremism.” I saw the three evils as the Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet of the last days. “Religious extremism” today includes evangelical Christianity, which holds to the truths of scripture and which teaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ. We are the enemy of Satan, and now we are the enemy being targeted for extinction by this New World Order Beast (See Rev. 12-13).

The French Revolution

The Lord Jesus led me to look up the “French Revolution,” and what I learned was quite interesting and educational, and fits perfectly with what is presently going on in the world. The “reign of terror” of that time resulted in the deaths of thousands of people. Religious freedoms vanished and old ideas were defeated. This brought to mind the dancing on the bones of our ancestors, which includes the death of the old order and the birth of the new order of the ages (the rising of the beast), as well as it means the killing of these “religious extremists” in order to halt the spreading of the gospel and the spread of new converts to faith in Jesus Christ, but that will never be fully accomplished, for the more they fight against us, the more the gospel will spread, and the more people will come to faith in Christ before they die for their faith. Amen!

In the French Revolution, there was a change of power away from the church to the state, there was bitterness toward the church, and church property was now at the distribution of the nation. There were intense pains taken to de-Christianize the nation and the people, which included the severe persecution of the church, including the massacre of priests.

I believe this is what is going on today, and that we can begin to see this take place in America, too, and it has already begun. If you read the new law which Obama just signed, i.e. the NDAA 2014, you will see many parallels between that law and what happened in the French Revolution, and what is presently happening in today’s world, and as we can read about in these news stories, especially in the story about the purported terrorism incident in Xinjiang. Contained in the law is the “authorizing the military, under presidential authority, to arrest, kidnap, and detain without trial, and held indefinitely, American citizens thought to ‘represent an enduring security threat to the United States,’” stripping American citizens of their Bill of Rights. And, they are presently in the process of collecting information on all of us, and are using that information to “label” many of us as “terrorists.”

This is the Dawn of the New Age. Yet, we know how the story ends. God will judge the prostitute and the beast, and he will avenge on them the blood of his servants. Yet, he will use this time in which we now find ourselves on this earth to purify his church (his bride) and to make her ready for her husband (Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God). One day soon Jesus Christ will return for his bride, and she will be with her Lord forever. The beast (New World Order) may seem to be winning, but it has already been conquered, and although God is allowing (or will allow) it to conquer his people right now and to severely persecute and put them to death, Satan and his cohorts will not win this battle. Jesus Christ has already conquered them in his death and resurrection, and he will one day send them to their eternal destruction. In the meanwhile, God is actually using these actions against his followers to increase their faith and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, so Satan’s actions against us are self-defeating all the way around. So, we should be encouraged!

Courageous! / An Original Work / December 24, 2013

Based off Various Scriptures

The Word of God throughout taught.
Some people heard, but did doubt.
Still others had faith in Christ.
By grace He purified them.

They turned from sin
And they obeyed Christ.
He opened up their blinded eyesight;
Turned them from darkness
To the true Light;
Forgave their sin by His might.

He strengthened them in their faith.
He said, “Remain my faithful.”
He called them to obedience.
By faith, they were so grateful.

By faith, they were to follow Jesus;
To daily sit and listen to Him;
To have such faith
That mountains could move;
To love those whom He gave them.

Be on your guard; courageous.
Stand firm in faith. Be thankful.
Take up the shield of your faith;
Protect against all evil.

Do not move from
The hope that you have.
Your faith in Jesus let it endure.
Hold to the truth;
Your conscience be clear.
Endure with perseverance.
