Till the Storms of Destruction Pass By

“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,

    for in you my soul takes refuge;

in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge,

    till the storms of destruction pass by.

I cry out to God Most High,

    to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

He will send from heaven and save me;

    he will put to shame him who tramples on me. Selah

the children of man, whose teeth are spears and arrows,

    whose tongues are sharp swords.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!

    Let your glory be over all the earth!” (Psalms 57:1-5 ESV)

I live in the United States of America. Right now our nation is in a pivotal year because it is the year when the people of this nation, who are registered to vote, are in the process of choosing what man or woman that they want to lead them for the next four years (2025-2029). And so there is much discussion going on in people’s blogs, on social media, in the news media, and on YouTube and other sites regarding the candidates for the US presidency, and with regard to their qualifications and desired outcomes.

Now, over the past 20 years, the Lord has been showing me and teaching me about my nation and its beginnings and its leaders and who they are and what they are doing, and how that all fits in with prophecy of Scripture regarding these last days before the return of Christ. So the Lord led me to read many articles on various subjects in combination with where I was reading in the Scriptures. And I learned much about my nation and its government and military and their actions in the other nations of this world.

Based upon my years of research into these subjects, as being led by the Lord in what to read, my understanding of it all is that the USA (on a national and governmental level) is not who they purport themselves to be. Our leaders are not the ones truly running our country, but there is a small number of very powerful and wealthy people who are called “the shadow government” who are the ones running this nation, and the ones truly taking over the rest of the world (as is described in Revelation 13).

I believe that the USA is the woman who rides the beast, i.e. Babylon, and that she does the bidding of this beast (the wealthy and powerful elites) who comprise the all seeing eye of Horus, which is one of our national symbols hovering over top of an unfinished pyramid (the rest of us) on our $1 bill. Left and right politically are for show only, for they are really two sides of the same whole putting on a performance for the people of this nation so that we think we have a choice, and to get us fighting with each other, too.

Now that is very high level, and it is what I remember, and I have read thousands of documents over these years, probably many of which are no longer available, for this was back when the internet was not as locked down as it is now. So, “the storms of destruction” in our present time, I believe, have to do with the plots of the US government, which are under the headship of the “shadow government,” to deceive the American people to believe their lies and their performances, and one day it will be evident.

One day what they have been planning for us, and for the people of the whole world, is all going to come crashing down upon us, and then some people’s eyes will be opened to see that they were being deceived, and hopefully they will then turn to the Lord and follow him in his ways and not put their dependency any longer in human beings to save them. For I believe the whole political scene as we have it right now is all a distraction, and a means of dividing people, so that they can conquer us.

One day God is going to judge “Babylon,” which I believe includes the institutional market-driven “churches” incorporated under the state which are in an unholy union with the world, with big business, and with the US government. I believe the Scriptures warn us about such as this, and that they call us to come out from among those who are the ungodly and who have turned the temple of God (the body of Christ, the church) into a marketplace and have partnered with the world and the ungodly.

So, I don’t put my trust in any human being to lead me in the right path, for so many liars and deceivers and manipulators of truth are among us, and who are spreading lies and who are deceiving the masses. Many people have bought into their lies and are following “Pied Pipers” to their deaths. Many people are putting their trust in human beings to save them from what ails our nations, which they should not do, and so many of these politicians are just putting on performances to distract, divide, and deceive the people.

Whether or not you agree with me on any of what I have shared with you, the Bible warns us that this time is coming. So, as Christians, we need to be paying attention to what is going on in our countries and in the world, and we need to be praying for spiritual discernment so that we do not get caught up in the lies of the enemy and end up following after liars and deceivers who will lead us down the wrong path. And we need to be putting our trust in God alone to save us, and we must be walking in obedience to him.

Instead of us exalting human beings, we need to be exalting our Lord, and we need to be praying for the salvation of human souls. And we need to be sharing the truth of the gospel with the people of the world so that many will turn away from their sins and now follow the Lord Jesus in obedience to his commands in holy living. For, whether we like it or not, time is not on our side, and the things prophesied in the Scriptures regarding these last days are taking place, and more is yet to come.

God is going to pour out his wrath upon this world and the people of this world, and Christian persecution will be everywhere. So we need to be those whose lives are surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord, who are testing what we hear from other people, who are not believing the lies of the enemy, but who are believing the truth of God’s word. And that truth includes the promises of God, which have conditions, as well as it includes the warnings of God with regard to these last days and our need to make him our Lord.

Bombs are bursting. Night is falling.

Jesus Christ is gently calling

You to follow Him in all ways.

Trust Him with your life today.

Make Him your Lord and your Savior.

Turn from your sin. Follow Jesus.

He will forgive you of your sin;

Cleanse your heart, made new within.

Men betraying: Our trust fraying.

On our knees to God we’re praying,

Seeking God to give us answers

That are only found in Him.

God is sovereign over all things.

Nothing from His mind escaping.

He has all things under His command,

And will work all for good.

Jesus Christ is gently calling

You to follow Him in all ways.

Men deceiving: We’re believing

In our Lord, and interceding

For our nation and its people

To obey their God today.

He is our hope for our future.

For our wounds He offers suture.

He is all we need for this life.

Trust Him with your life today.
