Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

Because I Love You

 Psalms 103:17-19 ESV

“But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,

and his righteousness to children's children,

to those who keep his covenant

and remember to do his commandments.

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,

and his kingdom rules over all.”

A lot of people will disregard this teaching today as irrelevant because it is Old Testament. But you know what? The New Testament teaches the same. Jesus definitely taught that to love him is to obey him and that if we do not obey him that we do not love him. And he said that not everyone who says to him, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one DOING the will of God the Father who is in heaven.

And the Apostle John taught the same, that to know and to love the Lord is to keep (obey, adhere to) his commandments, and that if we claim to know the Lord, but we do not obey his commandments, that we are liars. For it is those who obey (walk according to) the Lord’s commandments who abide in God and God in them. And then Paul said that if we obey sin and not the Lord that it will end in death for us, not in eternal life with God. For obedience to the Lord leads to righteousness and to sanctification, and its end is eternal life with God for all who obey the Lord.

Well, the Lord Jesus seems to have added on a new ministry for me in addition to writing daily devotions and occasional poems. Now he seems to be having me moving in the direction of doing video talks on a more regular basis, but to what extent yet, I do not know. And today’s video, titled, “Because I Love You,” is teaching on this subject of walking in the fear of the Lord in obedience to his commands (New Covenant). So, if you are able, I hope you will take the time to watch and listen to it.
