My Desire to Live for Him

Jesus, Savior, King of kings,

My life to Him I do bring.

At His alter I do lay

All my hopes and dreams today.

My will is to do His will,

In my heart His Spirit fill,

Do all He to me commands,

All to me His work He hands.

My life not to me belongs,

For His wisdom, how I long.

My desire to live for Him,

And not let my Light go dim.

Do what He’s called me to do,

At His service, through and through,

Holding back not anything

He asks me to Him to bring.

My heart wants to Him obey

Every step of every day,

Be His servant, share His truth,

Do His service right on cue.

For I know He planned the way

That He’d take me, day by day.

He has purpose for my life

To fulfill before I die.

So I yield to His control,

Share my faith, I must be bold,

Do not fear what man will say,

Do God’s will without delay.

Jesus died, so we’d die, too,

To our sins, and His will do.

Give your life to Him today,

Follow Him in every way.
