What do you believe?
What have you received?
Truth about our Savior?
Or lies which give flesh favor?
When we trust in Jesus
From our sins He frees us
Freedom from our bondage
So we give Him homage
Die now to sins daily
Turn away from flailing
Walking in obedience
Not in what is devious
All to Him surrender
All our idols render
He has our allegiance
Sins do not besiege us
He’s the One we marry
Making Him our husband
Faithful now to serve Him
Going where He sends us
Saying what He gives us
Now to share with others
Strangers, friends, and neighbors
Christians, sisters, brothers
Being an example
What is thus a Christian
Focus now on Jesus
Doing what He pleases
