Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

The Lord Will Be King

Zechariah 14:1-9 ESV

“Behold, a day is coming for the Lord, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst.

For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

“On that day there shall be no light, cold, or frost. 7 And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light.

“On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea. It shall continue in summer as in winter.

“And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.”

Biblical Israel Today

In these last days, since Jesus Christ, the Messiah, gave his life up for us on a cross so that he could free us from our slavery to sin, Israel is all people who believe in Jesus Christ, whether Jew or Gentile by birth. For, in Jesus’ death, he destroyed that barrier between Jew and Gentile, and he made us all one in Christ Jesus, through faith in him.

So, just because people are physical descendants of Abraham, it does not make them Israel, and it does not make them Abraham’s children. It is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring. So, we who believe in Jesus as our Lord are the children of promise.

For, the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," MEANING ONE PERSON, who is Christ. So, in Christ Jesus we are all children of God through faith. We are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Physical Jerusalem is no longer the Holy City, either, for it is of Hagar, the slave woman, because she is still in slavery with her children. So, the Jews who reject Jesus Christ as their Messiah are no different than the Arabs who don’t believe in Jesus Christ. But the Jerusalem that is from above is free, and she is our mother. So, we who believe in Jesus are the Holy City.

And, who do Scriptures say are the children of promise? Those who believe in Jesus. And, who are the persecutors of the children of promise? It says it is the Jews who reject Jesus Christ, and it is the Gentiles who reject Jesus Christ. For, they are of the slave woman, not of the free woman, so they will not share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son, who is Jesus Christ, the promised seed of Abraham, through whom all nations will be blessed.

[Rom. 9:6-8; Gal. 3:10, 16, 26-29; Gal. 4:22-31; Eph. 2:14-18; 1 Jn. 2:22]

Against Jerusalem

So, in these last days, the battle is not against physical Jerusalem. The Jews are NOT the persecuted ones! Satan is not against the physical nation of Israel nor is he against the physical city of Jerusalem, for they are of Hagar, the slave woman, for they are still in slavery to sin. And, Scripture says this:

“Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.” ~ 1 Jn. 2:22

So, this is saying that any Jew or Gentile who denies that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, is the antichrist, for they deny both the Father and the Son. And, this means, too, that any Jew, who rejects Jesus Christ as the Messiah, does not believe in or worship the one true God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. So, unbelieving Jews are not the children of God.

So, this judgment is not against the unbelieving world, but it is a judgment against God’s people who today are those who profess faith in Jesus Christ. And, he is judging his people, the church, because of her idolatry, her false prophets and false teachings, and because of her adulteries and impurities.

And, the purpose of this judgment is that the Lord might refine his adulterous ones in a furnace of affliction to test them like gold, so that they will call on him as their only God, and so he will answer them and say, “They are my people,” to which they will respond, “The Lord is our God.” Amen!

And, I believe that the worldly and adulterous church here in America is undergoing such a judgment of God right now via all the upheaval that is presently going on in our nation. And, I believe that the Lord is indeed bringing the nations, i.e. the New World Order against the American church.

But, I also believe that the adulterous church, who unequally yoked together with the government and with the unbelieving world, and who turned the church into a marketplace, and who put another head over the church other than Jesus Christ, helped pave the way for the entry of the nations to come into our country to take it down, and to overtake it.

Against the Nations

The interesting thing about this is that the USA is part of those nations which are coming against America and the church in America to destroy her. So, this is an “inside job.” So, this also means that our leaders have betrayed the people by turning us over to the enemy to destroy us. And, I believe this will become even more clear as time progresses.

And, what this means, too, is that much of what we are presently seeing take place within our nation is orchestrated by our leaders who are underhandedly taking us down while performing as though they care about us and that they are working for our good.

So, when God then turns against the nations who he used to judge his adulterous church, that means he will turn against the USA, as a nation, too, because of their part in coming against his people, his saints. For everyone who is of this beast who God is using to judge his adulterous church, he will then visit one day in judgment, too.

The Lord Will Be King

I believe it will be at this time that the Lord will then gather together his holy ones and to set up his millennial reign on the earth, though I admit that my understanding of all of that is not complete.

But what I do know is that there is a day coming when Jesus will return for us, his holy ones, i.e. the ones who died with him to sin that they might live to him and to his righteousness, by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus. And, we will all be together with him for eternity. And, he will wipe away all the tears from our eyes. Sorrow and pain will be no more. No evil shall exist. No one who practices evil will be taken to be with the Lord, either.

And, Jesus will be King over the whole earth. And, his name alone will be named as God and as Lord, for there will be ONLY ONE LORD – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For, no other gods will exist, and no other gods will be worshiped other than the one true and only God, our Savior and Lord.

I Will Lift My Eyes

An Original Work / December 12, 2012
Based off Psalms 121-125

I will lift my eyes to my Lord Most High.
My help comes from Him, who saved me from sin.
He will not let your foot slip, and He who watches will not sleep.
Our Lord watches over you, and your life He will keep.
I will lift my eyes to my Lord Most High.
My help comes from Him, who saved me from sin.
I give thanks to Him.

I will lift my eyes to my God in heav’n.
I look to the Lord. My sins, He’s forgiv’n.
Because of His great love for us, He made us alive with Christ.
Through the kindness of our Savior, He gave us new life.
I will lift my eyes to my God in heav’n.
I look to the Lord. My sins, He’s forgiv’n;
My home, now in heav’n.

Praise be to the Lord, who is on our side.
Our help found in Him. He gives peace within.
Those who trust will ne’er be shaken. God will supply all we need.
Our Lord has done great things for us. He’s our friend, indeed!
Praise be to the Lord, who is on our side.
Our help found in Him. He gives peace within.
I can count on Him.
