Wonderfully Created by God

Based off Psalms 139

You search me and You know me,

Know me inside and me out.

You even understand me,

And of that there is no doubt.

You formed me in my mother,

In her womb created me.

I’m wonderfully created

To be all You made to be.

My frame not hidden from You

When in secret made to be.

You saw my unformed substance,

All the days ordained for me.

How very precious to me

Are Your thoughts, to me, O God.

When I wake up in the morning,

I am with You where You trod.

Depart from me, you wicked,

Who your thoughts are far from God,

Who speak against God wickedly,

Who of God stand not in awe.

O God, You search me, know me,

You know my heart within me,

You know my anxious thinking,

Any hurtful way within me.

So try me, test me, cleanse me

Of any way I’m failing

To be all that You have for me

In the way that’s everlasting.
