I am forever grateful
To my Lord who rescued me.
For on that cross He suffered
When He died on calvary.
He took my sins upon Him,
Putting them to death with Him,
So now, by my faith in Him,
I am set free from my sin.
In love, He now forgave me,
And He changed me inside out.
He didn’t leave me captive
To my sins, of that no doubt.
He set me free to worship
Him in truth, in righteousness,
To walk with Him, obey Him.
Now my life no more a mess!
In love, He did now change me,
Now His servant I must be
In sharing now the gospel,
How from sin we can be free.
My life is now surrendered
To my Lord, to do His will,
To be a witness for Him
When His Spirit in me fills.
To tell of how He suffered,
So we no more walk in sin,
So we can now obey Him
And now daily live for Him.
Believe now in our Jesus,
Die to sin, now live for Him,
And follow where He leads you
In His service. Praise to Him!!
