My soul delights in my Lord God.
I do not dwell in a façade.
I worship Him in love and truth.
Believed in Him from early youth.
I cast my every care on Him.
I do not follow any whims.
In truth, He is my heart’s desire.
Of me obedience He requires.
I follow Him where’re He leads,
And on His Word I daily feed.
I walk with Him, day in, day out,
And of His love I have no doubt.
I serve Him as my Lord and King.
To Him my all I surely bring.
I’ve no desire from Him to drift,
No thought from Him to ever shift.
My service is to Him above,
My Only Savior, whom I love.
I listen to His every Word
And follow what from Him I’ve heard.
I sacrifice my life for Him,
Do what He says, out on a limb.
I share His truth, share what I know
Of what He teaches, not for show.
My life devoted to His will,
For in my life, His Spirit fills.
This all for Him, and not for self,
As He gives power from Himself.
So all the glory goes to Christ,
To whom I’ve given my new life
In service, now to do His will,
As He continues my heart fill.
