The eyes have it, they tell all
Telling you’re about to fall
You can’t hide it, try you may
The eyes have it, they betray
The eyes have it, look so dim
Trying to cover up your sin
They’re revealing, so you know
The eyes have it, lots they show
The eyes have it, look about
Wandering there, they leave no doubt
Filled with lust at every bust
The eyes have it, feel they must
The eyes have it, cover not
Hidden memories, hidden thoughts
Eyes that wander very clear
The eyes have it, sin is near
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” Matt 6:22-23 ESV
