1 Corinthians 10:1-5

For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
Why was God not pleased with most of his people’s fathers
(forefathers)? Scripture teaches us that it was because of their unbelief,
which was evidenced by their disobedience to God and their continued rebellion
against God. For, no matter how much God did for them, and no matter how much
he provided for them, still they went on in their idolatries, their
immoralities, their lewdness, frivolities, ingratitude, and in their continual
thirst for entertainment (for sensual pleasure).
The Lord gave me an example of this today from the life of
my own human father, now deceased 18 years. He attended gatherings of the
church from birth on until he died at age 86, but I think in his latter years
he didn’t attend church gatherings nearly so often. But, he was a very
self-sufficient man, full of pride, who was a big bully, a tyrant, a dictator, and
one who beat up on those weaker than him, i.e. mainly his wife and children.
But, he was “religious.” And, he was very legalistic (not
spiritual), i.e. he focused on what is external rather than on what is internal
(in the heart) or eternal (of God). For, while he was stressing that we not go
to movies or dance or play cards, he was beating on his wife and children and
sexually abusing, at least his daughters; and while he was also beating us over
the head, too, with the scriptures. Yes, he was a Pharisee through and through!
You may think, “Oh, what a beast!” He was. But, the sad
reality is that so many men, in particular, but women, too, within the church
in America today are not much different, even among many pastors. They are
still operating in the flesh, not in the Spirit at all, still feeding the lusts
of their flesh and abusing their families, if not physically, then emotionally
and spiritually. Yet, they “go to church” faithfully every Sunday, and they give
off an air of being spiritual, but their lifestyles give a different story.
1 Corinthians 10:6-12

Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did. Do not be idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.” We must not indulge in sexual immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in a single day. We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents, nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer. Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.
So, we are supposed to learn from the mistakes of our
ancestors and not repeat the same errors of judgment, and the same sinful
rebellion, and we are not supposed to go after the gods of this world. And,
this applies not just to our birth fathers, but to our forefathers in the
church and in our governments in our nations, too. But, the focus here today is
on America.
The Lord is reminding me of the forefathers of our nation,
and what they did in forming this nation. A lot of people have the mistaken
idea that most all of our forefathers were Christians and that they built this
nation on Christian principles, but that just isn’t true. Look at our national
monuments, statues, the layout of Washington, D.C. and our national seal. They
are filled with Satanic and occult images, and those of false gods and
goddesses.
Our nation was built on the premise of a one-world
government and a one-world religion (Free Masonry) right from the beginning.
Look at our national seal and our nation’s motto. On the seal we see the
All-seeing Eye of Horus hovering over an unfinished pyramid (a masonic symbol).
This is symbolizing this beast of the Elite of the world hovering over the
world and one day to be conjoined (united) with the world as its capstone, in
place of Jesus Christ.
And, the leaders of our nation and some within the church,
too, are leading our nation and the world right now to come under the rule of
this beast. And, they are doing it in America via deception. All that we see on
the news regarding our leaders is mostly all drama for our entertainment, our
distraction, and to deceive us with regard to their intent. But, they are all
the same team, not opposed to each other, all serving this beast, and all
working toward bringing this nation under the rule of this beast and its
one-world religion. So, don’t be fooled by them. Pray for discernment!
1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
President Trump has declared a National State of Emergency
here in America supposedly because he did not get the funding he wanted to
build his wall.
But, the real national emergency here is not what he is
purporting, but it is the moral and the spiritual decline of our nation and the
fact that our nation, overall, is dead spiritually, and is unwillingly to be
accountable to God for all her lewdness, immorality, and corruption, her crimes
against humanity, idolatry and the like. So, God is going to have to bring
judgment on her, just like he did on the children of Israel, and for the same
reasons.
So, we need to wake up as a nation and stop believing all
the lies we are being told by our government and by many of our leaders within
the church, too. We need to turn off our TVs and get on our knees in prayer and
into the Word of God and seek God’s face for ourselves and for our nation. We
need to ask for God to open our eyes to all the lies and the deceptions, and
then we need to no longer accept them as truth into our lives. But, we need to
begin to live the truth according to what Jesus and his NT apostles taught.
Our leaders are trying to get us all to come into unity with
them and this one-world government and one-world religion, and that is really
what all this junk is about that is going on with our government right now.
They have to show that our present system is not working so we need to change.
And, they are working hard to prove that the gospel Jesus taught isn’t working,
either, and so we need to accept a different gospel, and largely they have
already accomplished that.
The substitute gospel the church is promoting today in
America is that faith in Jesus Christ is a one-time event that takes place in
our lives, then we are “in” and then one day we go to heaven, but that it doesn’t
have to alter our lifestyles at all. And, once forgiven of our sins, we can
keep on sinning habitually and it doesn’t matter for it is all covered, so they
say.
And, so we have a church filled to the brim with people
professing faith in Jesus Christ who are not unlike my father, filled up with
all kinds of wickedness, impurity and the filth of this world while thinking
that they are going to heaven.
But, in Jesus’ death on a cross for our sins, he made the
way of escape for us out from underneath temptation to sin so that we would no
longer live in sin and hold on to sinful addictions, but so that we could be
free from the control of sin over our lives and walk in holiness – all in his
power. We just have to take the way out he provided for us by us yielding to
his Lordship over our lives and by resisting Satan and fleeing temptation and
saying “No!” to sin and “Yes” to God. In his power we can be free!!!
1 Corinthians 10:20b-22

I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
We need to get what this is saying here. We need to come out
from among them and be separate, i.e. we need discernment here so that we don’t
fall into the trap of the devil and end up taking the mark of the beast on our
lives. Our leaders, both in our government and in many in our churches are
leading us into a pit. Don’t believe their lies! Jesus Christ made the way for
us to be free from our addictions to sin and to empower us to live godly and
holy lives, if we will just yield to him and do what he says. He called us to
be separate from the world, not one with the world. So, listen to God!

Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Trust Him with your life today.
Make Him your Lord and your Savior.
Turn from your sin. Follow Jesus.

He has all things under His command,

Men deceiving: we’re believing
In our Lord, and interceding
For our nation and its people
To obey their God today.
He is our hope for our future.
For our wounds He offers suture.
He is all we need for this life.
