Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

Look to God

Today’s News Headlines: “Weekend Brings More Anti-Trump Protests Across Nation.” Trump Team Rivalries Spark Infighting.” “Hillary Clinton Blames FBI Director for Election Loss.” “Pope Francis is advocating policies of inclusion, saying God's plan doesn't exclude people based on their social class, race or religion.” “Donald Trump’s NATO Stance Threatens ‘West’ As We Know It.” “ISIS is gone, but Iraqi Christians are Wary of Returning Home.” Bombing at Sufi Shrine in Pakistan Kills Dozens.” “With Trump in Power, the Fed Gets Ready for a Reckoning.” “Silicon Valley Gripped by Uncertainty Over Trump’s Victory.” Greg Popovich said, at the end of a long speech: “My final conclusion is, my big fear is — we are Rome.”

This is where we are as a nation, and as a world. A group of elite, powerful and wealthy people – bankers, CEOs of corporations, heads of state, or former heads of state, etc. – are the de facto government of the USA. They are a shadow government operating behind the scenes of the US government, and they are the ones making all the decisions for what goes on in our nation, and in the world. They are forming a New World Order, a one-world totalitarian government and a one-world religion. They, in essence, are the beast of Revelation, conquering nations and peoples, and persecuting Christians throughout the globe. So, they go into nations, create chaos, rig elections, hire mercenaries to do their dirty work, so they can make a case for these nations being broken, and so that they can come into them to “fix” them. Now, they are doing the same thing in America.

So, God is saying to his people throughout the world that we are not to fear what they are doing, but that we are to look to God instead of to men (or women) to save us. He is our Rock and our salvation. He will give us all we need to stand strong in our faith. He will fill us with his peace and with his joy, even though all hell is breaking loose all around us. We just need to put our trust in Him, rest in him, read his word, pray, believe his promises, and let him lead and guide us each day. And, we need to keep telling people the gospel of our salvation, although the gospel is on the chopping block right now, and so are its messengers. Many need to know Jesus, so we need to keep speaking, and not be silent, even if it means we are hated, persecuted and even killed for our testimonies for Jesus.

Look to God / An Original Work
November 11, 2016

Fear not. Look to God.
He will strengthen you. He is your Rock.
He’ll meet all your needs.
Rest in Him, and be filled with His peace.
When sorrow fills your life, pray to the Lord.
Believe His promises. Trust in His Word.
He’ll lead you each day.
Give your life to Him. Follow His ways.

Lean on Him today.
He will comfort you. Trust Him always.
Read His Word and pray.
Tell the world of His love and His grace.
When trials come your way, be not afraid.
God watches over you. Be not dismayed.
He’ll work all for good,
For the called of God. Jesus, they love.

Sing songs. Praise your Lord.
Lift your voice to Him. Shout out His Word.
He forgave your sins,
Cleansed your heart. You are made new within.
When you are faced with temptation to fear,
Remember God will be with you. He’s near.
He’ll take care of you.
He will keep you in His love, tis true.
