Deception Abounds

Saturday, October 31, 2015, 8:30 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “All Through the Night.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Jeremiah 9:1-9 (NASB).

Through Deceit (vv. 1-6)

Oh that my head were waters

And my eyes a fountain of tears,

That I might weep day and night

For the slain of the daughter of my people!

Oh that I had in the desert

A wayfarers’ lodging place;

That I might leave my people

And go from them!

For all of them are adulterers,

An assembly of treacherous men.

“They bend their tongue like their bow;

Lies and not truth prevail in the land;

For they proceed from evil to evil,

And they do not know Me,” declares the Lord.

“Let everyone be on guard against his neighbor,

And do not trust any brother;

Because every brother deals craftily,

And every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.

“Everyone deceives his neighbor

And does not speak the truth,

They have taught their tongue to speak lies;

They weary themselves committing iniquity.

“Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit;

Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” declares the Lord.

World powers and local opponents to evangelical Christianity, i.e. to the gospel according to Jesus, have been assembling together to seek a solution to the problem of what to do with Christians who are publicly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ for the salvation of souls. There are three main weapons which they are engaging in to come against those who hold fast to the faith, who will not compromise their convictions, and who continue to spread the good news of the gospel of our salvation. One of them is to use military force against these believers. Some of this military force is disguised as “terrorists” our nation is fighting against, such as ISIS, when ISIS is truly a privatized military arm of the New World Order. The US recruits, trains, equips and supports terrorism, not the other way around. This weapon of war results in the shedding of innocent blood and Christian martyrs.

Another weapon they are using against Christians is the media, i.e. via the spreading of stories about Christians which may be partially true, but twisted, or may be totally false, and for the purpose to discredit them, and to paint them as ignorant, bigoted, hateful, and intolerant. Most of these stories are orchestrated or fabricated by the New World Order in order to bring these things to the public’s attention, to present that there is a problem, so that the N.W.O. can come in with the solution to the problem. I suspect they have, at least partially, come to some resolution, which I believe is reflected in Obama’s decision to put boots on the ground in Syria, and is also evidenced by this new US-backed Syrian rebel alliance on the offensive presently in Syria, according to the news.

A third weapon is spies, which can be electronic surveillance equipment, such as on our street lights, our stop lights, through TV sets, via the Internet, our computers, our smart phones or cell phones, and even in our automobiles. Or, it can be via private citizens who have answered the call to spy on family, friends, neighbors, fellow Christians, co-workers, etc., in order to get information from them, which they then pass on to the government. The government then compiles all this information together in a data center, which they can then use against Christians to charge them with hate speech or whatever, in order to silence them, I believe. Just as I wrote this paragraph, my computer blacked out and up came a message that read: “Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’re just collecting some error info, and then we’ll restart it for you.” Interesting timing. Hmmm.

Basically what this means is that our government leaders, and some church leaders, too, have turned their backs on the American people, and on those who believe in Jesus Christ, i.e. they have betrayed, denied, rejected, abandoned, and forsaken us. They have committed adultery against us, and they have turned us over to our enemies, for them to override (prevail over and dominate) us. They have made a deal with the devil, and it is going to mean the persecution and death of many followers of Christ worldwide. And, this has been in the works for a long time. Obama, in his Cairo speech of 2009, inferred it, and now he and the Pope shamelessly state the facts of what they (the New World Order) are doing and plan to do in the way of doing away with all that divides us as a people so that we can all come together as one, in harmony, under the N.W.O. “Beast.” Part of the plan has to do with coming after evangelical Christians. He Will Refine (vv. 7-9)

Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts,

“Behold, I will refine them and assay them;

For what else can I do, because of the daughter of My people?

“Their tongue is a deadly arrow;

It speaks deceit;

With his mouth one speaks peace to his neighbor,

But inwardly he sets an ambush for him.

“Shall I not punish them for these things?” declares the Lord.

“On a nation such as this

Shall I not avenge Myself?

I believe God is allowing this New World Order to gain control over the world as a judgment on the people and governments in the world, and as his divine discipline and correction on his wayward (backsliding) church. God’s purpose in this judgment is to examine his people and to refine (purify) them. God has been speaking to his adulterous church for some time now about her sins of idolatry and adultery, but, for the most part, she has refused to repent of her sins and to return to her Lord, for she claims God does not require repentance or obedience. Hogwash! All throughout the New Testament repentance and obedience to Christ are taught as necessary parts of the kind of faith that saves us (See: Luke 9:23-25; John 6:35-66; Ac. 26:16-18; Ro. 6:1-23; 8:1-14; 2 Co. 5:15; Gal. 2:20; Eph. 4:17-24; Tit. 2:11-14; 1 Pet. 2:24-25; & 1 Jn. 1:5-9; Ac. 3:19-20; Heb. 5:9).

He is also allowing this New World Order to come against his servants and messengers in order to refine them, to make them holy, to conform them to the image of Christ, to teach them perseverance, to teach them to rely on him and not on themselves, and so that they might comfort others going through similar suffering with the comfort they have received from the Lord during these difficult times. As well, I believe that through persecution the church will be revived and strengthened in the faith, and the gospel of Jesus Christ will spread, and it will result in many more people coming to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and as Savior of their lives (See: Book of Isaiah).

So, we are not to be afraid of what others will do to us, but we should be wise and discerning so that we don’t fall into error and under the cloud of deception. We must remain faithful to our Lord and to his Word, and continue sharing the gospel as long as we are able, and be careful not to trust too easily, for there are many liars and deceivers, some of whom will pretend they are our best friends. They will act as though we are best buddies, but they will turn around and stab us in the back, i.e. they will end up betraying us in the end. We have to know that we live in an age of deception, and especially that we cannot trust the mainstream news media, which is an arm of the New World Order, or the words of our government leaders, or many of our church leaders, who are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Yet, we need to love and forgive and pray for those who mistreat, betray, and desert us, and who turn us over to our enemies, for they need to know Jesus, too.

Continual Apostasy

Friday, October 30, 2015, 9:00 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “I Do Not Seal My Lips.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Jeremiah 8 (NASB).

Refuse to Return (vv. 4-7)

“You shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord,

“Do men fall and not get up again?

Does one turn away and not repent?

“Why then has this people, Jerusalem,

Turned away in continual apostasy?

They hold fast to deceit,

They refuse to return.

“I have listened and heard,

They have spoken what is not right;

No man repented of his wickedness,

Saying, ‘What have I done?’

Everyone turned to his course,

Like a horse charging into the battle.

“Even the stork in the sky

Knows her seasons;

And the turtledove and the swift and the thrush

Observe the time of their migration;

But My people do not know

The ordinance of the Lord.

The people of God today are those who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior of their lives. Collectively they comprise the church, the body of Christ. Apostasy means: “departure (implying desertion); literally, ‘a leaving, from a previous standing’" (biblehub.com). Other words for apostasy are backsliding or waywardness, i.e. meaning leaving (deserting) their loyalty and pure devotion to Christ and the true gospel of our salvation in favor of a gospel which does not confront sin or require repentance or obedience, but which gives free license for lasciviousness. It also means returning to living in sin, which Jesus had delivered them out of. Yet, this “desertion,” goes beyond just forsaking the gospel for themselves, but it includes helping to put it to death, and even helping to persecute those who still hold fast to the teachings of Christ and those of his NT apostles. This helping to facilitate the demise of the gospel and the persecution and even killing of Christians may be outright, with full knowledge, or it may be by way of partnership with those who are doing this outright.

There are those within the church, and within the government of the US, who are presently working to paint evangelical Christianity as hateful, bigoted, intolerant and mean-spirited, because the gospel confronts people in their sin, calls them to repentance, and it urges them to turn their hearts to Jesus Christ in faith, or to return to following Christ with their lives. It also claims an exclusive relationship with God, only through faith in Jesus Christ, and that all other religions are false, and that only through faith in Jesus Christ can anyone go to heaven. It also tries to persuade people to forsake their sins and their idols, and to walk in obedience to Jesus Christ/God, and to his gospel, which does require repentance and obedience to Christ’s commandments (though not absolute perfection). Obama and the Pope are two powerful voices right now promoting this doing away with “religious extremism,” and all that divides us as a people, so we can all come together as one in unity, yet they are not the only voices in favor of the demise of the gospel.

There is a lot of talk right now in the news about meetings to discuss “budget deals,” “nuclear deals,” and agreements on how to resolve conflicts between people groups with opposing ideologies. I believe that the real deal being decided upon here by heads of nations and people in positions of power and authority, though, is how to do away with the gospel of Christ and those who are keeping the faith, holding fast to the Word of God, and who are sharing the gospel with others, and who are encouraging them to believe in Jesus or to return to Jesus. This is really about the blending of various religions and walks of life into one in unity (in chorus, in harmony), recreating traditional values, morals and Christian faith into something more modern and eclectic (diverse), choosing various doctrines (beliefs), taken from various sources, including Satanists and atheists, and blending them all together into something that is agreeable to everyone. So, the way must be prepared for this to happen, and that path includes the persecution of Christians and the removal of the true gospel from the public, to make way for this eclectic religion to take its place.

Lying Pens (vv. 8-12)

“How can you say, ‘We are wise,

And the law of the Lord is with us’?

But behold, the lying pen of the scribes

Has made it into a lie.

“The wise men are put to shame,

They are dismayed and caught;

Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord,

And what kind of wisdom do they have?

“Therefore I will give their wives to others,

Their fields to new owners;

Because from the least even to the greatest

Everyone is greedy for gain;

From the prophet even to the priest

Everyone practices deceit.

“They heal the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially,

Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’

But there is no peace.

“Were they ashamed because of the abomination they had done?

They certainly were not ashamed,

And they did not know how to blush;

Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;

At the time of their punishment they shall be brought down,”

Says the Lord.

This apostasy, i.e. this backsliding has been helped along by those who claim to be shepherds of the people, but who preach what is false. These false shepherds of the people have the Word of God available to them, and many of them have Bible college degrees, especially here in America where we have so much open access, today, to various translations of scripture and so many Bible study helps, sermons, Christian music, etc. Yet, they handle the word of God falsely in order to deceive and to gain followers for themselves, instead of followers of Christ and for his gospel. They have rejected the Word of God in favor of the wisdom of this world, and for what makes people feel good. They put Band-Aids over serious sin wounds, and tell the people that God does not require them to repent of their sins or to obey him, but all they have to do is “believe,” though “belief” is not explained, and they tell them they now have heaven guaranteed, no matter how they live their lives from this point on, as well as they convince them that God will never be angry with them and that he will not discipline them, and that they will never have to suffer tribulation in this life.

Many of these shepherds of the people have been trained in avoiding or discouraging believers in Jesus who have “strong convictions,” or in how to publicly bring them to ridicule, and to convince their congregants to not listen to them or to shun them, too. Many of them are trained, instead, in how to entertain sinners, market the church just like any other business, and how to make the church attractive and enjoyable for the sinful world to attend their meetings, and to want to return to their meetings. This has been going on for quite some time now, and it has gradually been getting worse, i.e. the church has been progressively moving away from the truths of scripture and has been moving toward humanistic philosophy and this blending of different beliefs and peoples together as one. And, now this apostasy is being taken to another level, i.e. our leaders are deciding on the “meanness” of the gospel, and on how they are going to handle the conflict it presents to the rest of the world, and how they are going to negotiate its departure. And, there is a sense of urgency that they come up with a solution soon, one which Obama and Pope Francis have not so subtly been hinting at for some time.

One of the ways in which they are working to accomplish this, and to transition to this one-world religion, is to bring Christianity publicly under disgrace, i.e. particularly those who hold to strong convictions with regard to their faith and practice, and with regard to the gospel of our salvation and the proclamation thereof. They are trying to paint a picture of Christianity, as I said previously, as hateful, bigoted, arrogant and intolerant of others, and its followers as those who try to push their beliefs on others. I believe the goal is to give cause to having to come up with a solution, and the solution being that we must do away with what divides us as a people so that we can all live in “peace” together, where no one gets in anyone else’s “lane,” but we all just say what is agreeable to others and what promotes harmony among people of all walks of life and all faiths. In other words, so many of these disparaging stories in the news about Christians are for the purpose to pave the way for decisions to be made which will hinder our ability to share the gospel publicly.

This is about inserting false religion in with the true gospel, and telling lies about the true gospel in order to discredit the gospel, and it is about making false accusations against its messengers. Yet, this eclectic religion doesn’t have Jesus’ name on it, because it is not of him. In the end, only the true gospel will stand, i.e. it will be a choir of one (God/gospel), for no other gospels have the name (character) of God/Jesus Christ on them. They will all pass away, as will their false messengers, but The Word of God will stand forever. Amen!

A Call for Revival (vv. 18-22)

My sorrow is beyond healing,

My heart is faint within me!

Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land:

“Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not within her?”

“Why have they provoked Me with their graven images, with foreign idols?”

“Harvest is past, summer is ended,

And we are not saved.”

For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I am broken;

I mourn, dismay has taken hold of me.

Is there no balm in Gilead?

Is there no physician there?

Why then has not the health of the daughter of my people been restored?

We, as followers of Christ, should weep and pray over the spiritual condition of most of today’s church, which is backslidden, and in great need of revival. And, we should not fear persecution, but we should keep on speaking in the name of Jesus for people’s salvation.

Do not fear when evil man

Has success in all their plans,

For like grass they’ll wither soon.

They Went Backward

Thursday, October 29, 2015, 5:36 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the songs “Fully Ready,” and “He Gives Purpose.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Jeremiah 7 (Select vv. NASB).

Stubborn Evil Hearts (vv. 21-26)

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat flesh. For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices. But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’ Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward. Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets, daily rising early and sending them. Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck; they did more evil than their fathers.

The Lord Jesus today is speaking to me in reference to this passage of scripture with regard to the institutional church here in America, which is in partnership with the US government. So much of today’s church here in America has gone the way of the world, and has accepted a diluted gospel in order to appease their own consciences when the Spirit convicts their hearts concerning their own sinful thoughts, actions and addictions. They have gone backwards in that they have largely rejected the gospel of salvation according to Jesus, and according to his NT apostles, and have adopted, instead, a gospel which is more appealing to the flesh and acceptable to the world, which does not require repentance or obedience to Christ’s teachings, but entertains the sinner, instead, so that he or she feels good about themselves even while they are committing sinful acts of rebellion against Almighty God.

So many today who call themselves Christians, and even Christian ministers, are just going through the motions of worship of God and faith in Jesus Christ, for they never came to the cross of Christ and died with Christ to sin, nor were they resurrected with Christ to newness of life, “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (Eph. 4:24). Thus they were not regenerated of the Spirit of God and do not have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit within them. They are still walking in the flesh, and not in the Spirit, which means they are destined to die in their sins without God and without hope, and to spend eternity in the fires of hell.

Others truly came to know Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives, and they walked with him for a time, but the pressures of this life soon took hold on them, as well as the temptations of the flesh, and so they went backward and not forward, and quenched and grieved the Spirit, and they now live as though they were never cleansed from their sins. Now they live as though they think their good works will save them, or as though God’s grace gives them free license to continue in sinful rebellion against God.

They Will Not Listen (vv. 27-28)

“You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you. You shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept correction; truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.

Much of today’s church not only rejects the true gospel of Christ in favor of humanistic philosophy and a desire to make nice with the world, but much of today’s church has turned on those who hold to the truths of scripture, who believe what the New Testament teaches with regard to repentance and obedience to Christ - as necessary components of saving faith - and who follow the Lord Jesus in surrender to his will for their lives. Much of the leadership in these institutional churches are trained to watch out for those with “strong convictions,” and to encourage them to “go someplace else,” while making their target audience the people of the world whom they can make and mold according to their image. Much of today’s church, in order to dilute the gospel, and so as to make the world feel comfortable in their meetings, has turned a deaf ear to God’s calls to obedience and to repentance, and they have thus treated those who share the true gospel with contempt.

The institutional church here in America is comprised of true believers in Jesus Christ, many who are living in spiritual adultery against their Lord; those who profess to know Christ as Savior, but who made a false confession of faith; those who have no faith at all, but who attend the services as more of a social activity or to be with loved ones or friends; and, of course, the US government (via the 501c3). The US government, in concert with the New World Order “Beast” has been coming against Christians, primarily in the Middle East, for some time now, but now they are making it quite clear that they are now at war with Christians in the west, too. Barack Obama and Pope Francis are both major voices for the New World Order, a one-world totalitarian government (and communism), and a one-world religion which brings all religions and walks of life in unity, which thus means that the gospel of Jesus is no longer going to be tolerated, as it declares that Jesus is the only way to God and that only through death to sin can we be saved and live to righteousness.

Opposition to Christ and his gospel is increasing here in America at a rapid rate. Christians now are often tagged as intolerant, arrogant, ignorant, bigoted, hateful, prejudicial, and judgmental, and some are being accused of hindering others’ religious freedoms and human rights, and of creating a climate of hate and intolerance. Their strong convictions, it would seem, must be opposed and prohibited. Obama and the Pope are giving strong messages of the need for us all to come together as one, to put away our differences and all that divides us as the people of the world, which means disregarding the gospel of our salvation, and ceasing to spread the gospel by which people throughout the world might be saved. Our desire to share the gospel with others and to pray for their salvation is being compared, in some circles, to Hitler and to what led to the Holocaust, and is, in some cases, being attacked and regarded as us perpetuating religious hatred. The US government has, on the surface, supported Christians’ freedom of religion and freedom of speech, but they are now backtracking and are beginning to show their hand in openly coming against us now.

Their Detestable Things (vv. 29-31)

‘Cut off your hair and cast it away,

And take up a lamentation on the bare heights;

For the Lord has rejected and forsaken

The generation of His wrath.’

For the sons of Judah have done that which is evil in My sight,” declares the Lord, “they have set their detestable things in the house which is called by My name, to defile it. They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My mind.

This morning, the Lord Jesus was showing me one way in which the US/N.W.O. is coming against Christians here in America. They have spies everywhere. Surveillance equipment is all over the place – at our stop lights, on street lights, in stores, through our computers, TVs, phones, the internet, even in our cars. There is not much any place where we can go now as Americans where Big Brother is not watching and listening. They also have encouraged American citizens to spy on members of their own families, on fellow church members, and on their neighbors and co-workers, etc. They tell the American people to contact a certain number or write to a specific email or something like that if they see any “suspicious” activity, which I believe now includes anything they might regard as “hateful,” “intolerant,” and the like. The information they collect on us is put into a database, and probably put on the cloud, where it can be used against us at some future time, using our own faith in Christ against us in order to accuse us of promoting hate in some way.

One of the ways in which these spies work is that they set traps for people, i.e. they befriend them, gain their confidence, in hopes that they will confide in them, and then they report whatever they are told by them. Another trap involves faking a problem or a need in which there is a cry for help so that the unsuspecting Christian, who loves Jesus and who loves the people of this world, will come to the rescue, only it is a set-up in order to get information out of them that can be used against them, such as the government does when they fake all these various scenarios in the news where they prey on people’s emotions, hoping to get a reaction from them on social media or other discussion-oriented websites or on personal blogs.

In other words, they use trickery to lure us to their aid, such as the refugee crisis, perhaps, but it could end up being a Trojan Horse, and not what they say it is. What I know is that the Lord keeps showing me that this refugee situation is about the New World Order invading nations in order to take them down, i.e. to conquer them. The goal of this N.W.O. “Beast” is to silence those who share the gospel of salvation, so when we confront sin, and call people to repentance, we might be targeted as hate-mongers. In other words, they will use our faith against us to attempt to suppress the Spirit within us from breathing his life out through us so that people may be saved. They set a trap for Jesus, too, but he didn’t avoid it. He did not back down one iota. And, we must also not back down out of fear of what they will do to us, but we must continue sharing our faith, even if they don’t listen.

The US/N.W.O. is putting the heat on Christians in America right now in order to air-condition us, i.e. either to shoot us full of holes literally, or figuratively to try to destroy our testimony for Jesus Christ, or in order to pressure us into conformity with the N.W.O. and its one-world religion, where no one gets in anyone else’s space by trying to convince them to believe in Jesus Christ and to obey him, but everyone unites together as one under a false religion which has no hope, no faith in God, and which sends people to hell. This false religion is open to all walks of life and all faiths, except it is intolerant of the Christian faith which teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and our only hope of salvation. Our government is not in the Middle East fighting ISIS, as they profess, for they support, equip and train ISIS, the Taliban, and Al Qaeda, et al. I believe our government is financing the killing of Christians, and they now have their sights set on American Christians, too. And, the results will be catastrophic. This is what these “deals” are really all about.

So, the Lord is calling out to his people who are living in rebellion against him to repent of their sinful ways, to return to their Lord, and to follow the Lord Jesus in obedience to his commands (his instructions) which he has given us for godliness and holy living. He says that we must deny self, die daily to sin, and follow him. If his adulterous people will return to him, he will heal them, revive them and restore them to fellowship with him.

Love Never Fails

8/20/12: It is difficult for me to read this passage of scripture without coming under the conviction of the Holy Spirit in one way or another. I am always growing in this area of learning to love others with God’s love. God has gifted all of his children with spiritual gifts, but if they are not motivated by love, then they are just noise. Or, if the gifts are motivated by love, but we are guilty of not loving others in the process of using our gifts, then it amounts to nothing. I want to love others with God’s love and not have my gifts accounted for nothing, or to be just noise because they are not exercised in love. Help me Jesus to love like you love.

Stand in the Gate

Wednesday, October 28, 2015, 7:35 a.m. – the Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Broken and Contrite.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Jeremiah 7 (Select vv. NASB).

Hear the Lord (vv. 1-4)

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, “Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house and proclaim there this word and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah, who enter by these gates to worship the Lord!’” Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

Although these words were told to Jeremiah to tell to the people of Israel at that time, “All Scripture is God-breathed” and is “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;” “that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:16-17 NIV/NASB/ESV). So, what can we learn from this passage of scripture today, which would apply to our lives, to the church, to our nations, and to the world today? As servants of Christ, how can we stand at the gate of the Lord’s house and teach his words to the church, the temple of the Lord, and to our nations?

A gate is a door into or an exit out of a house or a building, or metaphorically speaking it is an opening, an opportunity, and/or access into something or someplace. The people of God of Jeremiah’s day were the Jews, who were God’s chosen people at that time. Not all had faith in God, though, which was evidenced by the many who did not go into the Promised Land due to disobedience and unbelief. The Jews were also a physical nation. So, if you were to have access to God’s people today, of a particular nation or all nations, in order to speak the Word of the Lord to them, what might that look like today? I believe the internet presently is our gate into the church and into the nations of the world today where we can share the truths of God’s word and give his messages to the people.

The message I believe God would have me to share today, though it could apply to many nations and peoples, is directed primarily to the United States of America and to the church in the USA, which is where I live. I believe God is calling out to his church to reform her ways and her actions, yet I believe he is addressing these thoughts also to the people and to our government within this nation, and not just singularly to the church. So, what are these ways and these actions which need to be reformed? For one, I believe that we need to stop saying that America is a Christian nation, and that we are one nation under the one true God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, because it is just not true. We are not a nation which honors God as the holy God that he is, which reveres him, respects his authority, and obeys his teachings, not even within the church much at all today.

We also need to stop saying that the institutional church or a building is the church, because that is also not true. The church is comprised of believers in Jesus Christ. The institutional church is a business of human-origin with the government as the head, and is largely driven by human marketing schemes, humanistic philosophy, and even syncretism – a blending of different religions, schools of thought, culture, and opposing beliefs into one. Meetings in buildings called church in which the world is invited in, and is entertained, and where the gospel is diluted in order to appeal to the flesh of humans is not church. Also, we need to stop trusting in deceptive words which say that all people are the temple of God, or that all who pray a prayer are saved and going to heaven. The Bible is real clear that if we say we have fellowship with God, but we walk in darkness, that we are liars and not truth tellers.

Hypocritical Liars (vv. 8-11)

“Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail. Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known, then come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—that you may do all these abominations? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” declares the Lord.”

The United States government, which is in headship over the institutional church via the church’s partnership with the government, is an evil entity, which is under the control of Satan, not God. From the very beginnings of our nation many of our forefathers were adherents of syncretism, which is evidenced by the various buildings and statues in Washington, D.C., and by our national symbols, etc., much of which is patterned after foreign gods and goddesses, the occult, freemasonry, and Satanism, and which lays out for us the purpose for the USA from the beginning, which was to lead the way to the rise of the beast (New World Order), and to the conquering of all national governments, peoples and Christians worldwide. I believe our nation is the prostitute which rides the beast. By the church’s partnership with this evil government, and by the church’s promotion of worship of such government, the church in the US has become culpable for this government’s crimes against humanity. That is why God keeps calling his church to come out from her.

The US government, in partnership with and in preparing the way for the New World Order “Beast” to rule the world, has been going throughout the world for some time now invading other nations under false pretenses, confiscating their natural resources, killing at will, taking land not theirs, destroying houses and lands, conquering peoples and nations, persecuting and killing Christians, and doing so in the name of God, humanitarian aid, democracy, the conquering of terrorism, and protecting the rights of humans and the sovereignty of our own nation, but that is all a lie to cover up their true intentions. First they create a situation such as an unnatural disaster, an uprising, a riot, mass murders, et al, so that they have an excuse to invade other nations (and their own). Then they come in with a solution to the problem which they created, and the solution is to bring the world together as one in harmony, i.e. to bring us all under the rule of the “Beast.”

The news media is largely under the control of the US/N.W.O., and thus they spew out the stories which the N.W.O. wants us to believe, most of which are all lies, or are a mixture of lies and truth. Many of these situations reported in the news are total or partial fabrications. The incidents they are reporting could be completely staged (acted out) or partially staged and partially real, or they could be real, but the roles are reversed, such as we blame other nations for doing what our nation is doing. For instance, the government often plays both sides of a situation in order to create a persona or a situation in which they will be required to go in as “Saviors.” Some of these uprisings and terrorist situations are totally acted out by the US/N.W.O. so we can come in as the “good guys” to save the day, but that is a lie. Our government recruits, trains, equips and finances terrorist organizations, such as the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and ISIS. ISIS is US/N.W.O. I believe they are a privatized prussianized military force of the New World Order, in helping them to conquer nations and peoples.

There is no such thing as Republican and Democrat, or fair elections, for it is all staged. This budget deal is not for the benefit of the American people, but is a deal with the devil to bring our nation under Global Big Brother, which is a totalitarian regime, with communism in the mix. Obama and the Pope are major voices (spokesmen) for this New World Order. The real “climate change” is political, and the change is to the New World Order “Beast,” and to this one-world government and religion, and to the persecution and killing of Christians and all opposing forces to the rule of this “Beast.”

America is being destroyed from within, but most Americans still believe the lies their government feeds them every day via the media, and thus they have no clue as to what is going on in the world and behind closed doors. This refugee crisis is also about the takeover of nations by the N.W.O. Most of what they feed us via the media is rubbish, i.e. nonsense (all made up). So, we have to stop believing everything we read, hear or see on TV in the news, and we have to begin testing everything we hear, read and see in prayer, and in God’s word, praying for much discernment, and asking the Lord to show us what is true and what is not, so that we do not fall into the trap of deception.

This Global Big Brother is on the precipice of overtaking the United States of America, and us coming under the rule of this New World Order. The signs are everywhere we look now days, if we will just open our eyes and be willing to see. One day soon, all that we have worked for on this earth that is not of God and not of his kingdom, is going to disappear. And, we will have to make a choice to serve God or the Beast. There will be no more middle ground with one foot in the world and one in the church. We will either conform to the N.W.O. or to Christ and his teachings. It would be good to make that decision now.

But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’ ~ v. 23

When in The Stillness

I was reading in 1 Corinthians 10 for my quiet time with the Lord on 9/26/11. The children of Israel had experienced all of God’s blessings and provisions, as well as his guidance, leadership, and protection in bringing them out of slavery, and yet God was not pleased with them because they did not obey him. They wanted the blessings of God absent of obedience. Their lives are examples for us to keep us from setting our hearts on evil, and from becoming followers of idols, instead of followers of God. May we set the right kind of example of God’s love.

Sin Addiction

A Great Rebellion (vv. 1-6)

“Roam to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem,

And look now and take note.

And seek in her open squares,

If you can find a man,

If there is one who does justice, who seeks truth,

Then I will pardon her.

“And although they say, ‘As the Lord lives,’

Surely they swear falsely.”

O Lord, do not Your eyes look for truth?

You have smitten them,

But they did not weaken;

You have consumed them,

But they refused to take correction.

They have made their faces harder than rock;

They have refused to repent.

Then I said, “They are only the poor,

They are foolish;

For they do not know the way of the Lord

Or the ordinance of their God.

“I will go to the great

And will speak to them,

For they know the way of the Lord

And the ordinance of their God.”

But they too, with one accord, have broken the yoke

And burst the bonds.

Therefore a lion from the forest will slay them,

A wolf of the deserts will destroy them,

A leopard is watching their cities.

Everyone who goes out of them will be torn in pieces,

Because their transgressions are many,

Their apostasies are numerous.

There are many people in our world today who profess to know Jesus Christ as Lord and as Savior of their lives who live just like this. They are addicted to sin, and it has a stronghold on their lives. They are liars, deceivers, and manipulators, who act like they are following God with their lives, but who are skillfully conducting their lives according to the sinful nature, and not in accord with the Spirit of God. They are double-minded with divided loyalties, who give off a false image on the outside while inside they are full of wickedness. They pretend that all is well, when it is not. They often live in a make-believe world, engaging themselves in fantasy and not in reality, i.e. they live under a dark cloud of deception, and they are deceivers themselves. They perform sleight-of-hand tricks or other illusions in order to deceive others into believing their lies and their false persona. They are great actors and pretenders who will often stuff their true emotions and thoughts in order to give a false impression of what they are really thinking or doing, so no one knows.

When confronted with their sins, they may react in anger, rage, and defensiveness, or they may display an eerie calm, and act as though what is being said to them does not bother them at all, but later it comes out that it did, when their guard is down. They will minimize the serious nature of the sin, or call it something else, or isolate each sinful act so as to not face the reality of the sin pattern (addiction), and then claim that God’s grace covers it all. They may show no sorrow over their sin at all, or they may express sorrow and even have tears come down their cheeks, but inwardly refuse to repent, i.e. refuse to turn away from their sin and turn to follow Christ in obedience, i.e. refuse to stop being enslaved to sin and to turn to become a servant of righteousness. They break off their covenant relationship (vows of fidelity; their engagement) with God/Jesus through their continuous acts of adultery and their refusal to repent, i.e. they quench and grieve the Spirit of God, so there is no true fellowship between them and God, although they like to pretend that there is.

When confronted with their sins, or when they are in danger of being caught, or when they want to set the stage for a sin they plan to commit, in order to try to make someone believe that what they are doing is something else - even faking devotion to God and to his service in order to cover up what they know is wrong - they might display these characteristic traits: rationalizing, justifying, or explaining; blaming and accusing others; debating and arguing; and/or dodging pointed questions or switching the topic in order to avoid answering. They may also joke and tease, or compare themselves to others, trying to take the focus off themselves, or they may agree or even cooperate on some level to avoid being found out. Or, they may “throw someone a bone,” i.e. admit to something lesser or make minor concessions in order to appease, while withholding something much more serious or something they want even more than what they were willing to give up or admit to. The addict may also practice the silent treatment, or threaten suicide, or make jabbing remarks intended to hurt another, or act dumb, refusing to take responsibility.

If they feel backed into a corner, they may go on the offensive and may try to discredit the person who knows them best, and who is trying to help them, and they may create a false scenario about that person for the benefit of maintaining this false impression which they want to present, which is either completely false or is somewhat true but taken out of context and twisted to their advantage in order to gain sympathy for themselves from others, and in order to make their perceived opponent out to be the “bad guy,” and them the victim.

Again, they are great actors and deceivers, and many of them will go to most any length to protect their addiction and to keep themselves from being discovered, even if it means destroying other people, their marriages, and the like. In other words, they deflect (sidetrack), redirecting attention and even accusation of wrongdoing to another in order to avoid being found out. They must protect their addiction at all cost, no matter who gets hurt in the process. This is the nature of the beast (sin addiction). Those who love them deeply, and who know them best, will see these patterns when others, who may be fooled by them, may not.

Fear the Lord (vv. 22-25)

‘Do you not fear Me?’ declares the Lord.

‘Do you not tremble in My presence?

For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,

An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it.

Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail;

Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.

‘But this people has a stubborn and rebellious heart;

They have turned aside and departed.

‘They do not say in their heart,

“Let us now fear the Lord our God,

Who gives rain in its season,

Both the autumn rain and the spring rain,

Who keeps for us

The appointed weeks of the harvest.”

‘Your iniquities have turned these away,

And your sins have withheld good from you.

We who call ourselves Christians are to walk in the fear of the Lord. We are to revere, respect, honor and obey God and his holy Word. We are to take him and his word seriously, and not throw him or his word out the window so that we can live however we want. God has set boundaries for us for a reason. They are not optional. They are also not to make us miserable and to spoil all our fun, as Satan would have you believe. God loves us so much that he sent Jesus Christ, God the Son, to the earth to take on human form and to die on a cross for our sins so that we could go free from bondage to sin and free from having to spend eternity in torment in the fires of hell. Jesus died that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. He died that we might no longer live to please ourselves, but that we might live for him who gave himself up for us. He died that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us who walk not after the flesh, but who walk according to the Spirit.

Yet, so many who say they believe in Jesus, have stubborn and rebellious hearts which want to continue in their sinful ways. So many of these have been drawn to a false grace gospel which requires no death to sin and no following our Lord in obedience to his will for our lives. It gives free license to continue in sin without guilt and without remorse, which is why, I believe, so many people today are living with sin addictions, because not many people are telling them that God requires them to turn from and to die to sin, but they, instead, try to make them feel good about themselves while they engage in such sinful behavior. They lie to them and tell them that God is pleased with them no matter what they do, and that he looks upon them with delight, even while they are engaged in sinful acts. May this never be! And, the people love it this way, because it gives them permission to keep on sinning, to show no reverence for God, and to live however they want, while still promising them heaven when they die.

Jesus said that if we want to come after him we must deny self and take up our cross daily (die daily to sin and self) and follow (obey) him. He said if we hold on to our old lives (of living for sin and self), we will lose them for eternity, but if we lose our lives (die to sin), we will gain eternal life (Lu. 9:23-25). Paul said that if we conduct our lives after the flesh, we will die, but if we by the Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, we will live (See: Ro. 8:1-14). The way we come to know Christ is by putting off our old self, by being transformed in heart and mind of the Spirit of God, and by putting on our new self, “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (See: Eph. 4:17-24). God’s grace, which brings salvation, teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives while we wait for Christ’s return (Tit. 2:11-14). We do not have to walk in sin, because Jesus set us free! He has given us the way out from yielding to temptation, but we have to take the way out he has given us. God has delivered you from sin if you know Jesus, and he can lead you to victory over sin addiction, too.

Lift Up the Standard

Sunday, October 25, 2015, 2:17 p.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Come and See.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Jeremiah 4: (Selected vv. NASB).

Blow the Trumpet! (vv. 5-6a)

Declare in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem, and say,

“Blow the trumpet in the land;

Cry aloud and say,

‘Assemble yourselves, and let us go

Into the fortified cities.’

“Lift up a standard toward Zion!

Seek refuge, do not stand still.”

Much of today’s church is living in spiritual adultery against her Lord, and is chasing after “other lovers,” i.e. after the idols of human-making. The church in the USA has partnered with an evil government and has put that government as head of the church in place of Jesus Christ. They have gone the way of the world, and have diluted the gospel of our salvation to make it more appealing and acceptable to the world. They have become followers of humans instead of followers of God. The Word of God has largely been replaced with humanistic philosophy, with mysticism and occultism, and with books on human business marketing schemes and techniques. Bible studies have largely been replaced with movies or with books written by mere humans, and worship services have largely been turned into theatre productions for the entertainment of the world. And, the church has been turned into big business and is marketed just like any other human-based business.

The gospel has been turned into nothing more than doing “good deeds,” and the message of the cross has been removed in favor of a softer and less threatening message which tickles the itching ears of those who listen to it. This softer message removes the requirement from God’s word for repentance (turning from sin) and following our Lord in obedience, as necessary components of faith which saves us from sin, and it tells its adherents that God is pleased with them no matter what they do, and that he smiles on them and delights in them even when they are steeped in sin. It convinces them that grace means free license to continue in sin without guilt and without remorse, and thus people have lost the fear of the Lord, i.e. the reverence, honor, and respect for God and for his Word have been nearly lost. Having lost the fear of God, many have returned to following after the flesh, convinced that grace covers it all, and so they are in the clear, believing God does not even see their sin, and that when he looks at them, all he sees is Jesus and his righteousness.

God has been having his servants and messengers sound the trumpet and lift up His standard to his church, yet many have still not returned to their Lord, but have continued in their adulterous ways. Some will claim they have returned, but it is only in pretense, and not with their whole hearts. So, God is still calling out to his wayward church to return to him, and he will have mercy on them, and will revive and restore them to fellowship with him. They just have to acknowledge their guilt - that they have rebelled against their Lord, that they have been running after “other lovers,” and that they have not obeyed God. Some people might make a pretense at confession of guilt, or they might only part-way confess, thinking that clears them, while they continue in their adultery. When we confess sin, though, we have to make full confessions, not partial ones, and we have to call sin what God calls it, i.e. if we are habitual at lying, we are liars, and if we routinely commit adultery, then we are adulterers, and if we make a practice of stealing, we are thieves. Repentance means to change, i.e. to stop practicing sin, and to become servants of righteousness.

God’s standard for his church is that Jesus died that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; that we might no longer live for ourselves, but for him who gave himself up for us; and that he died that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us who walk not after the flesh, but according to the Spirit, for if we walk after the flesh, we will die, but if by the Spirit we put to death the deeds of the flesh, we will live (See: 1 Pet. 2:24; 2 Co. 5:15; Ro. 8:1-14). His grace is not a free license to continue in sin without guilt and without remorse. His grace, which brings salvation, teaches us to say “NO” to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives while we wait for his return (Tit. 2:11-14). If we say we have fellowship with God, but we walk in darkness (sin habitually), we are liars, and the truth is not in us (1 Jn. 1:6). If we hold on to our old lives (of living for sin and self), we will lose them for eternity, but if we lose our lives (die to sin and self), we will gain eternal life (Lu. 9:23-25). This is God’s standard!

A Destroyer of Nations (vv. 6b-8)

For I am bringing evil from the north,

And great destruction.

“A lion has gone up from his thicket,

And a destroyer of nations has set out;

He has gone out from his place

To make your land a waste.

Your cities will be ruins

Without inhabitant.

“For this, put on sackcloth,

Lament and wail;

For the fierce anger of the Lord

Has not turned back from us.”

There is a New World Order “beast” which has been consuming sovereign nations, destroying land, confiscating natural resources, killing innocents, including Christians, faking uprisings, producing chaos, plotting takeovers of nations and the persecution of the church, all in order to bring the entire world under the rule of this one-world government, alias the “beast,” and this one-world religion. First they create a chaotic situation which needs resolution, and then they go in as the “saviors” to solve the problem, which they first created, and with a solution that they pre-arranged. This New World Order is comprised of the Elite of this world, big banks, CEOs of corporations, heads of state, the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, etc.

One of the plots of this New World Order, in order to bring about this cooperation, unity, and conformity to the New World Order, which is presently underway, is this refugee crisis in the Middle East. I don’t know if any of these “refugees” are literal refugees from war-torn nations who are seeking refuge in Europe and in America, or if they are all soldiers disguised as refugees, and this whole crisis is a Trojan horse for the takeover of sovereign nations, or if it is a combination of both. What I am most confident about, though, is that this was generated by the New World Order for the very purpose of invading sovereign nations in order to take them down, i.e. to destroy their sovereignty and to bring all these nations under the rule of this beast. As well, I believe many of these mass shootings, of late, here in America, are also the working of this “beast,” and are also for the purpose to create a situation which requires a solution so that the N.W.O. can come in as “savior,” to bring peace (a false peace), unity, cooperation and conformity of all people to the New World Order “beast.” When the reality of all this unfolds, it will be devastating, I believe.

Another plot of this New World Order is to bring all people of all faiths, and all walks of life, in unity together as one body. In order to do that, they began long ago with destroying the church and the gospel from within, via the things I mentioned earlier in this writing, by dismantling the gospel, marketing the church like any other business, and getting the people to become followers of humans over followers of God, etc. The Pope is a very strong voice right now for this one-world religion, as he, as an instrument of the New World Order “beast,” is leading the people of this world to forsake Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone of the church, in favor of bringing all religions together under one roof. He has knocked down Jesus Christ as head over the church, and he has removed purity and righteousness from the gospel of our salvation via his teachings. He is teaching tolerance as though it is showing Christ’s compassion to others. His idea of “change” is a rejection of the gospel according to Jesus, and it is presenting a false image of Jesus Christ as one who is accepting of sin and who embraces people of all religions, as though we are all one in faith.

The Pope, as an agent of the New World Order, wants to conform the teachings of scripture to the modernization of the life of the family unit, i.e. in order to be more welcoming of gays and accepting of practices which God calls sin. He wants purity and righteousness removed from our faith and practice, so that we open the way for the unsaved to be more completely assimilated into church life. He does not want Jesus Christ as the foundation for our Christian faith and practice, but he wants us to have our faith rooted in the life of human beings, i.e. for humans to determine what we should believe and how we should behave. In other words, his mission is to remove Christ from our covenant relationship with God in order to render that covenant useless and worthless, and of no value to us. He wants the church to acclimate (adjust) to different beliefs and practices, which is a deviation from the teachings of scripture and the gospel of our salvation. In other words, he wants us to break off our engagement to Jesus Christ and to unite us with the New World Order “Beast.”

So, the adulterous church is being called upon by God to lament and wail over the destruction of the body of Christ, and of the gospel of our salvation, and to wash the evil from their hearts and be saved (or revived and restored), i.e. God is calling the church living in adultery to own up to their sin, to turn from it, and to follow God/Jesus in obedience. He is lifting up the standard for us to follow, which he made known to us through Jesus Christ and his NT apostles, and he is calling upon his adulterous church to reject the lies of these deceivers and to embrace and follow the truth of God’s holy Word only.

Based off John 1:35-51

John, the Baptist, called of God to

Make straight the way for the Lord,

Told his disciples about Jesus,

So two of them followed Him.

One of them who followed Jesus

Told his brother, Simon Peter,

Who then he brought to the Savior,

Who had told them, “Come and see.”

Jesus Christ, our Lord, Messiah,

On his way to Galilee found a man, Philip,

So he told him, “I want you to follow Me.”

Philip then found his friend,

And he told him, “We have found the one

The prophets spoke of – He is Jesus!”

Philip then said, “Come and see.”

Jesus saw the man, Nathanael,

While he sat beneath a fig tree,

Even before Philip called him,

So Nathanael did believe.

Nonetheless the Lord said,

“You believe because of what I told you.

You will see much greater things than these

If you will Come and see.”

Jesus’ calling to each one of us.

He tells us to believe in Him

As our Lord and Messiah,

And to follow where He leads.

He says we must turn from our sins,

Die to sin and self each day,

And put on our new lives in Jesus;

Bow before Him; humbly pray.
