THE VISION: I saw what appeared to be Greek statues. They were gray in color. Then I saw what looked like Greek or Roman soldiers among these statues. The soldiers were wearing those metal helmets that they wore back in Bible times, I believe. Then the soldiers came to life and they were being trampled upon by someone or something west of them.
Then I saw a bronze horse. The horse was in the west but was facing east. The horse bowed its head low toward the east. And, then I saw it open its mouth wide and something east of it began to be consumed by this mouth. The mouth then turned into what looked like a gigantic hand and what was inside the hand looked large and round like a globe. The hand was still bronze, though, like the horse. Then, it was peaceful and calm. END
Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read I Peter 5:1-11:
To Elders and Young Men
To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble.”
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Daniel 7:15-28:
The Interpretation of the Dream
… “Then I wanted to know the true meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws—the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell—the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully. As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.
“He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.
“‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.’
“This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled by my thoughts, and my face turned pale, but I kept the matter to myself.”
My Understanding: First of all, I believe with all my heart that the Lord is showing me, via this vision, this fourth beast with its iron teeth and bronze claws (the hand) - the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It will have (or has) ten horns on its head. In relation to the passage in I Peter 5, this is speaking of world leaders who are greedy and who are lording it over those entrusted to them. They are proud and boastful. And, they are of Satan, who is our true enemy, and is truly the one prowling around like a roaring lion (the bronze hand/claws) looking for someone to devour.
I read several news stories, which I will reference below, that I believe fit with this vision and with these two passages of scripture, as practical application to our world today of what these passages are speaking about.
Obama
The first story is about Obama and things he said. He reportedly used the terminology of “enormous bite” to describe these economic sanctions purportedly to come against Iran. Yet, in the vision, the “enormous bite” came from a bronze horse in the west facing the east, which then became part of the bronze hand which then consumed – the enormous bite – the world. So, these economic sanctions are going to come against the whole world. Obama, according to the article, did not express precisely that he would contemplate military action. Horses, in the Bible, are often symbolic of military strength and power. Revelation 6 speaks of a white horse and its rider who rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. A fiery red horse came next. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. Next was a black horse, and its rider was holding scales in his hand. And, then there was a pale horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. So, I sense that this bronze horse represents military strength and power, and even the USA will come under its threat. And, it also represents the judgments of God on the earth.
Protests
This next article is concerning the supposed Occupy Wall Street protests that are purportedly taking place in our nation’s capital, in New York City, and in the capital cities of our states in the USA. I believe this is in relation to the part of the vision about the Greek or Roman statues of soldiers that came to life. I believe this is in reference to a revitalization of the old Roman Empire, and to their soldiers who killed Jesus Christ, and who killed many followers of Christ. I noted that the helmets looked like those worn by the Roman soldiers of Bible times. This is happening again in our day, and that is truly what all of these uprisings have been about, as well as they have been about the conquering of nations and bringing the entire world under one rule. In every instance where there have been news reports of unrest, violence, demonstrations, protests, and/or uprisings in various nations throughout the world, and now including in the USA, as well, the Lord has shown me that both sides are the N.W.O. (or whatever name it is to have), and the protests are a cover-up for the killing of innocents and the killing of believers in Jesus Christ. And, that fits with this passage in Daniel, as well as the one in I Peter 5.
I noted, in a photo that accompanied this news article, that both the “police” in helmets and the man pinned to the ground by the police were both dressed in gray. In other words, they are of the same source, i.e. the man on the ground is also a soldier in gray with a helmet. Yet, the true mission of these “protests” is to occupy the USA and to oppress, persecute and to make war against true followers of Jesus Christ. And, the protests are being conducted by this New World Order (the beast). So, the true trampling is being done against followers of Jesus Christ.
This news article goes into great deal to describe this supposed altercation between the police and these demonstrators. I noted that the article mentioned that there was a “false sense of calm” given by the police which was then followed by this move of the police to “completely trample” the camp. In the vision, after this bronze horse consumed something in the east and then this bronze hand enveloped the horse, as though they became one, and then this bronze mouth (of the hand/horse) opened wide and devoured the earth, I noted that it was peaceful and calm. Hm. This gives a sense of some kind of peace agreement that will give out a false sense of peace, but will be followed by betrayal and by a trampling of anyone or anything that stands opposed to it. This is supported by the article mentioning that the job of the police in this action of trampling on this camp was to “enforce the law” and “keep the peace.” Hm. The calm thus is a direct result of this enforcing of “the law,” but what law? - The new law? – The law of this bronze hand? – New agreement?
Asia-Pacific
In another news article we learn about this Asia-Pacific Pact that is being agreed upon or has been agreed upon in Hawaii (Reference a previous vision: Big Foot). The article states that this agreement is U.S. backed. I see the agreement as this bronze hand. A hand is given in agreement or in oath or promise. It would appear that the U.S. is being represented by the bronze horse, and that the hand that enveloped the horse and that took the “enormous bite” out of the world is this agreement among these various nations. Supposedly Canada, Mexico and Japan are in support of this deal (part of the bronze hand). And, this news of the deal purportedly represents “a coup” for Obama. A “coup” is “the sudden violent overthrow of a government and seizure of political power, especially by the military” (Encarta). Wow! That certainly fits the scenario, doesn’t it? The article mentioned that Japan wanted to unite with the “nine nations” currently included in talks on this Trans-Pacific Partnership (the bronze hand/claws). I don’t know if that would make the ten horns of the beast or not, but I did note that adding Japan to the nine would make 10 and that the beast had 10 horns, but three of them are to fall (or have fallen).
The article mentioned that this Asia-Pacific region of the world is now in the leading position for “global growth,” which, by the term “vanguard,” that the article used, could represent a leading position in the advance of troops into battle, which fits with the bronze hand/horse devouring the world. As well, I saw the “global growth” as this bronze horse/hand devouring the globe and consuming it into its mouth. This meeting in Hawaii supposedly has supplied the needed reinforcement needed for an agreement to “cooperation,” which I see as this bronze hand as the needed reinforcement for the horse in order to bring about the “cooperation” (bowing to) of the nations of the world to be consumed by this beast. I noted that the horse first of all bowed to the east. As well, I read, in another news article, that Berlusconi, of Rome, “bowed out,” and I also read, in yet another article, that it was stated in Damascus that the Arab League was on the tails of Obama and that they were bowing to U.S. pressure. So, I definitely saw these Arab leaders as this bronze hand (or part of the hand/claws), which would make Obama (or the US) the horse, but it was the horse that was bowing (submitting to) the hand, not the other way around. And, the bowing was to the east, not to the west. The U.S. is being swallowed up, too.
The Asia-Pacific article about this agreement in Hawaii also mentioned that Asia has a vital role as the driver of global growth, which would make it the bronze hand/claws. And, it sounds as though Europe (and the west) is now bowing to the east (Asia), which could mean that the soldiers who had come to life (the Roman Empire) are now being trampled upon by this bronze hand/claw and that Obama is part of this bronze claw now, and has submitted the USA and its government to come underneath the authority of this bronze claw. As well, the article mentioned the IMF seems to be playing a significant role in this hand in calling for repayment of debt by European nations (and perhaps by the U.S.). China appears to be part of this hand, as well, as it is seen to be “on course to overtake the U.S. as the world’s biggest economy…” So, again, the horse appears to be the U.S. government, which is being overtaken by the hand, but they are both bronze, so both the USA, at least some of its leadership, is one with the bronze hand, which includes (or is foremost) China, and I believe Russia, too (see previous vision: Big Foot). And, this is supported by the article’s mentioning of the U.S. as leading this trade agreement (our government leaders as the horse), and that this agreement is said to be intruding upon, or invading, or violating its own “sphere” (globe) of influence in Asia, i.e. the U.S. leaders are leading the way for the devouring of our own nation, and they have already bowed to the beast.
The article mentioned how U.S. officials were welcoming various nations “on board” with this agreement, which I saw as this bronze horse/claw devouring the nations of the world. And, then the article mentioned that this agreement, according to Obama, could develop into a legal agenda or charter by next year. This would fit with a dream I had awhile back about us coming under a new rule of law by January, though I could not be sure which January, or that it was literally January, but that January, in the USA, is when new government typically takes office, so I saw it as the beginning of a new government in the USA, which most certainly could take place as early as January of next year, at the speed of which everything is happening now. Anyway, I see this legal charter, thus, as this rule of the beast or at the very least the rule of a one world government that will culminate in the rule of the beast of Revelation. There was reference made in the article, as well, to moving quickly in establishing a timeline that is to be imposed upon the people and that opens its mouth wide to make room for more people and nations to be devoured in its mouth.
The Word
Although we are most certainly supposed to obey our governing authorities, there are Biblical exceptions to this rule: 1) Don’t bow to golden statues, to other gods, or to the beast; 2) Don’t stop speaking in the name of Christ, and don’t stop sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ; 3) Don’t stop loving people and showing them compassion and kindness; and 4) Don’t ever submit to sin or agreement with sin or to disavowing or disobeying your Lord Jesus Christ. Our submission, obedience and bowing should be to God and to God alone, and only to human authority where human authority does not conflict or contradict God’s authority and rule. So, we should not fight against the confiscation of our property, nor should we fight against imprisonment, etc. The only exceptions allowed for disobeying human authority are ones given us in scripture, by example, and mainly by the example of Jesus Christ, who humbled himself and became obedient to death on the cross. When Jesus Christ returns, we will receive our heavenly reward for our faithfulness to God and for our willingness to suffer disgrace and even death for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We must remember that our enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion seeking for someone to devour. We are to resist him, standing firm in the faith. Since the devil and this bronze hand/horse are both on conquest to devour the saints of God, we need to make sure that we are not being devoured already by the bronze hand/horse through bowing (pledging allegiance with hand over heart) to this bronze horse/hand, or through believing in and supporting the lies of our government, which would make us part of this hand (agreement). We need to seek God’s face in these matters, and we need to be willing to have God reveal to us the truth concerning our own government leaders and military and concerning the reality of what is taking place all around us. In other words, we need God to waken us from our slumber and to make us discerning of evil so that we are not devoured in thought and actions by this bronze hand/claws. We are to resist in the same ways that Daniel and his friends resisted, that Jesus resisted, and that the apostles and prophets resisted Satan. We are not to take the mark (influence) of the beast into our minds (foreheads) and into our deeds (hands). The beast is the world’s system. We are to come out from the world and to be separate. And, we are to remain firm and steadfast in our faith.
The tune had no words, and yet I knew it was to be titled, “To My Beloved.” I believe that the Lord is giving this message to “his beloved,” i.e. to his true church, in preparation for what is coming, and to exhort them (us) to be alert for the enemy, and to stand firm and steadfast in our faith, even in the face of great suffering and persecution and death.
