Habakkuk 2

Then the Lord replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."

Search Me, O God

The Lord knows us because he made us. He knit us together in the wombs of our mothers. That means we were born into the families into which we were born, not by mistake, and not by coincidence, nor by an act of nature, but by divine appointment and the will of God. He purposed that we should have the parents we had, even knowing what bad may happen to us, because he has a purpose and a plan for each of our lives. All that we go through in our lives serves a unique purpose in molding us into the people God intends us to be. So, I thank and praise the Lord for how he made me, and that he loved me enough to mold me into someone he could use for his divine will and purposes to bring others to Jesus Christ.

Search Me, O God / An Original Work / July 12, 2012

Based off Psalm 139

O Lord, You search and know me.
You know all that I do.
O Lord, You discern my ways.
I put my trust in You.
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Where can I flee from Your presence?
Where’er I am, You are with me,
Guiding me in love.
O Lord, You search and know me.
You know all that I do.
O Lord, You discern my ways.
I put my trust in You.

O Lord, You made and formed me
In my own mother’s womb.
Your hands beautif’ly made me.
I give my praise to You.
My frame was not hidden from You
When I was made in the dark place.
All the days ordained for me
Were written in Your book.
O Lord, You made and formed me
In my own mother’s womb.
Your hands beautif’ly made me.
I give my praise to You.

O Lord, how precious to me
Are Your thoughts, O my God.
When I wake in the morning,
You are still here with me.
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offense.
Lead me in Your truth.
O Lord, how precious to me
Are Your thoughts, O my God.
When I wake in the morning,
You are still here with me.

Everything Went Dark

Tuesday, September 29, 2015, 12:29 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Hear My Voice.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 37:23-27 (NASB).

The Kiss (vv. 23-25)

“Whom have you reproached and blasphemed?
And against whom have you raised your voice
And haughtily lifted up your eyes?
Against the Holy One of Israel!
“Through your servants you have reproached the Lord,
And you have said, ‘With my many chariots I came up to the heights of the mountains,
To the remotest parts of Lebanon;
And I cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypresses.
And I will go to its highest peak, its thickest forest.
‘I dug wells and drank waters,
And with the sole of my feet I dried up
All the rivers of Egypt.’

The Lord Jesus gave me a vision (illustration) early this morning of a man turning his back on his wife and, in front of her, giving his lover a big kiss on the lips. As I prayed concerning what this “Kiss” represents, I felt it was something political, like between heads of nations, so I looked it up. What I learned is that Leonid Brezhnev (Soviet Union/Russia) and Erich Honecker (East Germany) were photographed in a fraternal embrace (kiss) on October 7, 1979, as “a symbol of equality, fraternity and solidarity.” The photo was reproduced as a painting on the Berlin Wall in 1990 with the caption which read: “My God, help me to survive this deadly love affair.” “The socialist fraternal kiss or socialist fraternal embrace is a special form of greeting between the statesmen of Communist countries… When the two leaders considered themselves exceptionally close, the kisses were given on the mouth rather than on the cheeks” (Wikipedia). See also: http://rarehistoricalphotos.com/socialist-fraternal-kiss-leonid-brezhnev-erich-honecker-1979/.

Although the news media likes to paint a picture of Obama and Putin at odds with each other, the Lord was giving me a picture of the two of them this morning as having participated with each other in this fraternal kiss, signifying solidarity in their communist beliefs and practices. These leaders are both part of the New World Order “beast,” and their goal is unified, which is to bring the world under the rule of this beast. Thus they have turned their backs on (abandoned, rejected) the people of their own nations and the people of this world. They are both part of the P5+1 (US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) of the UN Security Council (New World Order “Sanhedrin”), which serves as the police force of the “beast” in forcing sovereign nations to comply with the New World Order, i.e. with this one-world communist regime, as well as to enforce a one-world religion which includes all people who reject the gospel of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Both leaders are in agreement with the method of rules of the New World Order, which the Lord also showed me as the head of a shadow prussianized army. Prussianized means, “authoritarian control and rigid discipline.” The face of this “authoritarian control” was that of Obama, i.e. he serves as the face of this shadow government (and military) which is controlling what goes on in the world from behind the scenes. He is one of their main voices (messengers) promoting and pushing this one world order and one world religion, along with Pope Francis. When he warned Putin that “dangerous currents risk pulling us back into a darker, more disordered world,” I believe he was making reference to this authoritarian control of the New World Order “beast” and its privatized military force which is lurking in the shadows, and which is a pervasive threat to the people of this world.

Many times the Lord has given me a picture of this prussianized army as political spies, who could be members of our own families, neighbors, friends or people with whom we fellowship with in gatherings of the church. They work for the New World Order. They are against the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and they are against those of us who hold to the truths of scripture, who teach Jesus Christ as the only way to heaven, and who preach repentance and submission (obedience) to God as part of the faith which saves us (See: Luke 9:23-25; Ac. 26:16-18; Ro. 6:1-23; 8:1-14; 2 Co. 5:15; Gal. 2:20; Eph. 4:17-24; Tit. 2:11-14; 1 Pet. 2:24-25; & 1 Jn. 1:5-9). And, they are plotting our demise. Their goal is to get the leaders of nations to divorce their own people and to marry the beast.

The Congress of the USA has also “kissed” Obama, who is the face of this shadow government (New World Order), which is a communist, authoritarian regime which is taking over all nations and peoples and the church (institution). They have turned their backs on the American people in handing us over to this communist control of our nation. This “kiss” is just the beginning of this “deadly love affair” between heads of nations who have joined forces to bring the world under the submission of this beast (N.W.O.), and it will be disastrous for our nation and for the world – a very dark time in our history. Again, those of us who they consider “hard-liners” or “radicalized” or “extremists,” because we hold to the gospel of Jesus Christ, must be dealt with, to stop the spread of the gospel of salvation.

Pope Francis is also another primary voice (face) of the New World Order who is going around the world preaching solidarity with this one-world government and religion and their goals. He, as well, has “kissed” this brotherhood of those who espouse communism. He, too, has turned his back on the people of the world. He, too, is a messenger for this “beast” and its plan to rule the world. News articles use such words to describe him as “masterful,” “fierce,” and “skillful” with a “softer style.” He has, and/or news articles about him have made reference to a “cultural war” or a “cultural revolution,” which the pope is promoting worldwide (See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_Revolution).

This revolution includes the persecution and killing of those who follow Jesus Christ and who preach the gospel. Pope Francis wants to do away with anything which divides the people of this world so that we all come together as one. His goal, too, is to have the leaders of nations divorce their people and marry the beast (New World Order). He wants all who profess the name of Christ to divorce Jesus and his gospel and to unite with the beast and his one-world government and religion (the synagogue of Satan). The real “climate change” he and others are talking about is this political climate change which is death to the old order of things so out of the ashes of the old order the phoenix (new order) can rise.

When news stories mention the “international community,” they mean the “New World Order.” All this talk of global climate change is about change from the old world order to the new world order. The agreements they are trying to forge are those in which they get heads of nations to divorce their own people and marry the “beast.” Talks of “sustainable development” are really talks about this Cultural Revolution and getting people to conform to the N.W.O. There are many, many references to “unity,” “solidarity,” and “oneness,” in trying to get the people of the world to bow to the beast and to take its mark. They are forcing us to have to make a choice between the lives we now live (“business as usual”) and these transformed lives in cooperation and conformity to the “beast.” The “transition” they speak of is this transition from being married to “wife” to “lover.” This transformation involves changing our beliefs, values, behaviors, education, etc. This “alliance” they are trying to forge is this “kiss” of solidarity with the “beast.” So, be very discerning. It won’t be long before he roars his ugly head and the world is truly under his totalitarian rule.

God Ordained It (vv. 26-27)

“Have you not heard?
Long ago I did it,
From ancient times I planned it.
Now I have brought it to pass,
That you should turn fortified cities into ruinous heaps.
“Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength,
They were dismayed and put to shame;
They were as the vegetation of the field and as the green herb,
As grass on the housetops is scorched before it is grown up.

All this is in God’s plan to judge his adulterous church and the people of this sinful world. None of this takes God by surprise. Now he is bringing it to pass. The “beast” thinks he did this, and so he lifts his head high, but God reminds him that he is merely an instrument of judgment in God’s hands, to work God’s will, and when God is finished with them (the beast and his messengers), God will take care to judge them, as well. So, we can take comfort in knowing that God is absolutely in control of all that is going on, that he has a purpose for it, and that one day our persecutors will be dealt with. Yet, I believe scripture teaches that God’s purpose in judging his adulterous people is to revive their hearts and to restore them to proper fellowship with him, and to see many people come to faith in Jesus Christ before our Lord returns. As well, our Lord will never leave us or forsake us. He will carry us through this dark time if we put our faith and trust in him, and lean on his everlasting arms.

Hear my Voice / An Original Work / July 9, 2012
Based off Psalm 27

The Lord is my great salvation.
He’s the stronghold of my life.
When my enemies attack me,
My heart will not fear at all.
Though a war break out against me,
Confident in Christ I’ll be.
Of the Lord, I ask that I may
Live with Him eternally.

Hear my voice, Lord, when I call you.
Merciful to me You’ll be.
Though my relatives forsake me,
My Lord God will receive me.
Teach me Your way, O my Jesus.
Lead me in Your righteousness.
I will sacrifice to my Lord.
I will sing with joyfulness.

I am confident that I will
See the goodness of the Lord.
All the richness of His blessings,
My Lord has for me in store.
He asks me to be of courage;
To be strong and to take heart,
Patiently as I wait for Him,
And from Him to ne’er depart.

Your Heart

When I was inquiring of the Lord as to the lyrics to go with the tune he had given me, I was praying to the Lord, “Show me your heart, Lord. This is not about me. Show me your heart.” And, he did. Yet, he also showed me our hearts, too. Many people in this world don’t know the Lord, and many who profess to know him are not living for him. Some of those are living in rebellion against God, while others are still in bondage to sinful life patterns. The way in which the Lord showed me his heart was to show me how much he loves us, which is why he died for our sins, so that we could go free. And, he is calling out to us to love him, to worship and obey him, to turn from our sins, and to serve him only.

Your Heart / An Original Work / October 24, 2011

Tenderly He speaks, softly so.
Gently He calls - His will to know.
Won’t you invite Him in your heart?
Humbly accept Him now.
Bow before Him with contrite heart.
May you obey His will.
Seek Him with all your heart and soul,
And your heart, His Spirit fill.

Jesus died to free you from sin,
Giving you new life to begin,
Walking with Him ev’ry hour,
Obeying His commands.
Won’t you trust Him to be your Lord?
His grace you can’t afford.
Freely He gives you peace within,
When you turn from all your sin.

Live for Him ev’ry passing day.
Meet with Him; read His word and pray.
Serve Him in the way He leads you,
Doing all that He says.
Do unto others as you would
Have them do unto you.
Love them with Jesus love within you.
Your hearts to God be true.

A Day of Distress

Sunday, September 27, 2015, 12:00 noon – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Only In Him.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 37:1-4 (NASB).

And when King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth and entered the house of the Lord. Then he sent Eliakim who was over the household with Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz. They said to him, “Thus says Hezekiah, ‘This day is a day of distress, rebuke and rejection; for children have come to birth, and there is no strength to deliver. Perhaps the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

The king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them. Then, he sent his field commander to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. Hezekiah sent his servants to meet the field commander. The commander spoke to these men on behalf of the king of Assyria. He then attempted to persuade King Hezekiah’s people to not put their trust in his words but to make a bargain with King Sennacherib, like Satan trying to get us to doubt the words of the Lord and to listen to him, instead. As well, he pretended as though he was the Lord’s servant and that he was hearing from God and that he was following God in what he did. If the people would reject the word of the Lord, and would come out to him and make peace with him, then everyone of them could eat from his own vine and drink from his own cistern, rather than put their trust in the Lord to deliver them (See: chap. 36).

In our world today, in the year 2015, the king of Assyria is the New World Order. There are two primary voices speaking on behalf of this New World Order right now in trying to persuade sovereign nations and the church to make a treaty with the N.W.O. (with Satan), and they are Pope Francis and Barack Obama. The Pope just completed a 6 day visit to the USA at which time he gave a similar speech as this one given by the field commander, primarily addressing the church, yet speaking to all people and to the US government (Congress) and to world leaders (the UN). Obama gives a very similar message.

Tolerance and Acceptance

The Pope’s primary message to governments, to the church and to the people of the world, which he forcefully pushes, is that the “freedom of God” is expressed in tolerance and acceptance of all religions and all walks of life, and is less concerned with “doctrinal purity.” He sees the church and/or the people of the world as living in a “common house,” which can no longer tolerate unfruitful divisions produced by differences of beliefs. In fact, he sees exclusion (from the family of God) of people unlike us in faith and practice as wrong and as a “perversion of the faith.” He said that the church must live in this “concrete world.” Concrete means: “formed by a coalescence of separate particles into a mass; united in a coagulated, condensed or solid mass” (dictionary.com). In other words, the church must live in this New World Order (one-world tyrannical government and one-world religion).

The pope would have you believe that Jesus does not care about where we’ve been or what we have done. In some sense, this is true, in that we are not saved by our own righteousness, and it was while we were yet sinners that Jesus died for us, and that it is only by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, that we can be saved. As well, our past does not have to define our future. We can be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and we can be made righteous in God’s sight through faith in Jesus Christ. Yet, Jesus cares very much about sin, which is why he died for us, that we might be free from slavery to sin, and so we might be free to become slaves (servants) of righteousness. Jesus’ cleansing of us is not tolerance and acceptance of sin, and just making people feel good about themselves, regardless of their beliefs or their walks of life. He said if we would come after him we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin and self) and follow (obey) him. He said that his sheep know his voice, they listen to him, and they follow (obey) him.

The “scandal” the pope seems most concerned about is not that for generations Catholic priests and bishops have been molesting innocent children, but what he considers to be the wrong of following the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by Jesus and his NT apostles in which he/they preached repentance for salvation and forgiveness of sin, death to sin and living to righteousness, and that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to God and heaven. He continually preaches against such narrow-mindedness (in his sight) and the holding to the doctrines of the faith over tolerance (acceptance) of other faiths and other walks of life. His job (and Obama’s) is to try to persuade, by force, the church and the governments of the people of the world to unite with this New World Order and one-world government and religion. In America, Rick Warren (N.W.O.) has helped pave the way for this, too.

Need for Discernment

Much of today’s church seems to embrace the pope’s message, as does the US government, which has opened the door wide to invite the New World Order into our nation and into the church in our nation in order to take us over and to put to death the old order of things so that out of the ashes of the old order the phoenix (new order) can rise. Yet, we need to be discerning about these matters, and we need to recognize the lies, the deceptions, the twisting of truth, and the manipulations and forcefulness of this message which comes from the N.W.O. “Beast.” And, we, as the church, need to be putting on sackcloth and ashes and mourning over these words being spoken by the pope and by Obama, and have our eyes opened to the reality of what this means for us as the church, and as independent and free nations, which I believe no longer exists in America. And, we need to call on God in prayer.

We need to see the pope’s words and the words of Obama as coming from the mouth of Satan and this “beast” (Rev. 13) New World Order, and we need to reject the messages. We need to know the true light of the gospel of Jesus Christ so that we can discern the fake (artificial) light coming from the mouths of these two messengers, and others like them. This is about the defeat of independent nations and the destruction of the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The pope’s feel-good messages are not what the Bible teaches, and they are in direct opposition to scripture and to God. These men are predators, not our friends. The “light” they share is of Lucifer. We need to know the truth of God’s word so that we can discern their true character and influence for what it is – a big fat lie of Satan, just like the words the commander spoke in behalf of the king of Assyria. Jesus said that his sheep won’t follow strangers, but they will run away from them. We need to run away.

These men are appealing to the flesh of humans in trying to convince us that they have our best interest at heart, but they are cold and callous and are thieves who come only to steal and to destroy the sheep (See: John 10). They are wolves in sheep’s clothing who have the appearance of a lamb, but who speak like a dragon. Their message is one of conformity, unity and solidarity with the “beast” N.W.O. They want all people to look and act the same, believe the same and be in conformity to the rule of the beast, with no variations. Our government in the US is subject to this beast (elite, powerful, wealthy, UN). It serves its purposes in bringing the people of the world into subjection to the beast. Our government as we have known it is a façade. Our election process is an act, and our politicians are actors in a play, for the entertainment of the people. Whether the candidate is Trump or Clinton or anyone else, they are all N.W.O. Our votes mean nothing. The controlling authority in the US is this beast. It is the controlling authority of the world, too.

ONLY IN HIM / An Original Work / February 19, 2014

Based off Isaiah 30

Woe to those who look to man’s help;
Who turn away from Jesus Christ;
Forming an alliance not in step with God;
Making their own plans, and praying not.

Willing not to listen to truth,
They close their ears to what is right.
Pleasing words are all that they’ll hear;
Feel good messages that bring cheer.

Trust in your Lord; turn from your sin.
Put your faith now ONLY IN HIM.
Do not turn to idols. They’ll not satisfy.
Jesus will save you. That’s why He died.

Your Lord will be gracious to you.
He cares all about you, ‘tis true.
He forgives you all of your sin
When you give your life up to Him.

Oh, how truly gracious He’ll be
When you bow to Him on your knees;
Turning now from your sin; walking in his ways.
He’ll lead and guide you all of your days.

Now you will sing praises to Him.
He delivered you from your sin.
You’ll tell others now of His grace,
So they may see Christ face-to-face.

The Takeover

Saturday, September 26, 2015, 7:35 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “My Heart’s Desire.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 36 (NASB).

He Seized Them (vv. 1-3)

Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them. And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem to King Hezekiah with a large army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool on the highway of the fuller’s field. Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to him.

Currently, the USA and the world, and the church across the globe, are being seized by the New World Order (our King of Assyria). Our government has been instrumental, as part of this New World Order, in taking down other governments of the world, in seizing property and natural resources not our own, in killing innocents and then blaming it on others, and in creating chaos in various nations, and then going into those nations as “savior,” with a solution to solve their problems, and the “solution” has been to bring them into compliance with the N.W.O. or for them to pay the consequences. Now, it is our turn to be taken down.

On Whom Do You Rely? (vv. 4-10)

Then Rabshakeh said to them, “Say now to Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria, “What is this confidence that you have? I say, ‘Your counsel and strength for the war are only empty words.’ Now on whom do you rely, that you have rebelled against me? Behold, you rely on the staff of this crushed reed, even on Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who rely on him. But if you say to me, ‘We trust in the Lord our God,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar’? Now therefore, come make a bargain with my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to set riders on them. How then can you repulse one official of the least of my master’s servants and rely on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen? Have I now come up without the Lord’s approval against this land to destroy it? The Lord said to me, ‘Go up against this land and destroy it.’”’”

The Egypt of the church in America is the US government which the church has turned to instead of turning to the Lord, via the 501c3 not-for-profit corporation status. And, that trust in the government is now the downfall of our nation.

Since 2008, the Lord Jesus has given me quite a few writings about John Boehner, who is a devout Catholic. He is the speaker of the House in Congress, and he just resigned from Congress and from his position of speaker of the House effective October 30th. In a previous writing titled “The Final Compromise,” dated 4/11/11, I noted that a news article had said about Boehner that he had “fought the good fight,” which then brought to mind that the Apostle Paul had said that about himself, and he had also said that he had finished the course, and had kept the faith, and now what awaited him was a crown (2 Tim. 4:6-8).

In this writing of 4/11/11 the subject matter was that of some of our government leaders handing over our government to the New World Order. Boehner, along with tea party-backed legislators, came into office in January of 2011, I believe, to tear down and to dismantle the US government, and to hand us over to the New World Order. By Boehner now resigning, it appears to me that he has completed his mission. So, what does this mean for us, the people of this nation? I believe it means death to victory of the people and death to the protestant reformation.

Whereas it is true that the king of Assyria was God’s divine instrument of judgment against Jerusalem, it was not true that he had a personal relationship with God to where God spoke to him. Satan will try to convince you that he hears from God and his followers will even pretend to be believers in Christ. So, we need to be very discerning, as was Luther.

The protestant reformation was a breakaway from the Roman Catholic Church. Martin Luther, in reading the Bible for himself, realized that the RCC was wrong about many things. He sought to find the truth of what God’s word taught. He realized that we are not saved by good works, which is what the pope teaches, but that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. He taught that the Bible was the only source for God’s God-breathed words to his people, and that all followers of Jesus Christ are a holy priesthood, so we no longer have need of human priests to mediate between us and God.

In the Hearing of the People (vv. 11-12)

Then Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to Rabshakeh, “Speak now to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it; and do not speak with us in Judean in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.” But Rabshakeh said, “Has my master sent me only to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, doomed to eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you?”

One news article from today stated that Pope Francis had just finished a prayer service with leaders of the Christian, Jewish, Hindu and Muslim religions, as though we all somehow pray to the same God. Then, he visited “relics” on display at a 9/11 museum, which were a Bible and a cross. A relic is a “surviving memorial of something past” (dictionary.com). I believe that was intended to imply that the Bible and the cross of Christ are relics (something past).

The article went on to mention how the pope has exercised guidance and direction over a more pleasing (to the senses), agreeable, and more inclusive reaching out of the church to the community or to the world, and how he draws broad support from not only Catholics, but from people of other faiths, too. The pope, and Obama and many who call themselves ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, are pushing this one-world all inclusive “church,” which is not the body of Christ, and which treats the Bible and the cross of Christ as relics of the past to be memorialized, and which treats the pope as though he is a god to be bowed down to and worshiped.

The Mighty Conqueror (vv. 13-20)

Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in Judean and said, “Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria. Thus says the king, ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he will not be able to deliver you; nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the Lord, saying, “The Lord will surely deliver us, this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.” Do not listen to Hezekiah,’ for thus says the king of Assyria, ‘Make your peace with me and come out to me, and eat each of his vine and each of his fig tree and drink each of the waters of his own cistern, until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards. Beware that Hezekiah does not mislead you, saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria? Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? And when have they delivered Samaria from my hand? Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their land from my hand, that the Lord would deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’”

Although some of what the King of Assyria said was truth, some of it was false. Although God would (and will) allow his people to be conquered, in the sense of having war declared against them and their freedoms removed, and he would (will) allow them to be persecuted for their faith, as God’s judgment against his adulterous church, it was (is) not true that God would not deliver them. First of all, the judgment would (will) serve the purpose to deliver them out of putting their trust in humans over trust in God. And, second of all, when God is finished with this divine instrument of judgment, he will come in judgment against it (him, them), and he will deliver his loved ones by taking them to be with him for eternity. As well, our Lord continues to deliver us out of Satan’s grasp by giving us all we need to defeat our enemy and to be victorious over him and all his evil attacks he brings against us.

Purportedly Pope Francis has “denounced the persecution of Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East.” He supposedly described such persecution in terms which suggested that Christians (and others) have had their places of worship destroyed, have lost houses and property, and have been displaced or have been killed or incarcerated for their faith. I believe this has now or will soon come to America, and that this is partly what the pope’s visit and Boehner’s resignation are all about. This is the takeover of America as we have known it to be, and it is the takeover of the church organization and the conquering of people and of Christ’s followers as was prophesied about in Revelation 13.

The pope talks about religious freedom, but what he means is peace among people of all religions via tolerance and acceptance of all faiths as viable means to gain heaven and eternal life with god, which is a general term which includes all gods. It also means that no one is permitted to try to convince others that their faith is the only path to God, i.e. under the authority of the pope, we can’t try to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ. The future of the church he is promoting, and forcing, is not the body of Christ, and is not even the institutional church we have known in America, but is a synagogue of Satan where all people of all religions, including agnostics, join together in harmony and unity with one another, much like the freemasons. This means the persecution of Christ’s followers, such as he described has been taking place in the Middle East, has come to America. The church’s mission under the pope is to put the gospel of Jesus Christ (the cross) and the Bible to death, i.e. to make them out to be relics in a museum, a thing of the past.

Pope Francis spoke today from a lectern supposedly used by President Lincoln for his Gettysburg Address. Lincoln is often presented as an icon of liberty and justice for all, while others paint him as a tyrant and the civil war as not about the freeing of slaves but about the federal government using oppressive measures against the southern states for their own economic benefit, which is why the states seceded from the union. So, Lincoln instigated the war with the south as a means of forcing the southern states to submit to the federal government and to rejoin the union. During this war, Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus, i.e. he suspended the people’s civil liberties and individual freedoms, and he arrested American citizens. Obama, from the time he first ran for the office of president of the USA was promoted as a clone of Abraham Lincoln, and I believe this was intentional. This is a picture of where we are headed again, i.e. with the New World Order forcing compliance with the “union,” and our civil liberties and individual freedoms suspended.

God is calling out to his adulterous church to repent of her sins, to forsake her idols, and to turn to her Lord in submission and obedience to Jesus Christ and to his will for our lives. He is also calling out to the people of this world to turn to faith in Jesus Christ as their Only Lord and Savior, dying with Christ to sin, and being resurrected with Christ to a new life, “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (See: Eph. 4:17-24).

My Heart’s Desire / An Original Work / June 29, 2013

Based off Rm. 10; Lu. 9:23-26; Ep. 4:20-24

Loved Ones, Oh, my heart’s desire
Is that you might come to Jesus.
Many appear zealous for God,
But they do not trust in Him.
They have not submitted to the One
Who saved them from their sins;
Not forsaken their sins,
Nor have they obeyed their King.

The word of the Lord is near you:
The word of faith we’re proclaiming:
That you must confess your faith
In Jesus as your Lord and King:
Believe in Him as your Lord,
And follow Him where’er He leads.
Share the gospel; be a witness,
And meet others’ needs.

Beautiful are the feet of those
Who bring the good news of Jesus:
Anyone who would come to Him
Must deny himself today;
Die to sin and self, and
Let the Spirit transform you in heart;
Put on your new self in Jesus,
Yielding to the cross.

Anxious Hearts

Thursday, September 24, 2015, 10:49 p.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “I Will Lift My Eyes.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 35 (selected NASB).

Fear Not (vv. 3-4)

Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble.
Say to those with anxious heart,
“Take courage, fear not.
Behold, your God will come with vengeance;
The recompense of God will come,
But He will save you.”

I am writing this Friday at around noon. Last night I was physically and mentally exhausted, and today, too. I slept 11 hours last night, and I feel like I could keep sleeping. It could be the weather (rainy and dreary), or it could be I am coming down with something. I was around sick grandchildren much this week. And, my head is very congested. It is difficult for my eyes to focus or for me to concentrate for long before fading out, so today I feel what this passage is talking about. I feel drained, and I am in need of being strengthened.

Sometimes we get emotionally exhausted, too, when we face difficult circumstances or troubled relationships, or when we go through times of sorrow and emotional pain. In these times when our bodies are weak, we are much more vulnerable to discouragement or to becoming anxious of heart over our circumstances. It is in these times, most especially, when our Lord Jesus/God comforts our hearts, and he encourages and strengthens us.

The Lord Jesus had the old hymn, “Have Thine Own Way, Lord,” going through my mind today (by Adelaide A. Pollard):

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine!

Our Lord watches over us, and he cares and is concerned about us. He won’t always rescue us from our difficult circumstances, though he may, but he will always deliver us through them, if we put our faith and trust in him to deliver us. If we keep our eyes focused on him, and we take them off the things of this world - not that we ignore what is going on in the world, but we don’t let it drag us down - he will give us the strength, wisdom and perseverance we need to endure, he will encourage and counsel us in the way we should go, and he will fill us with his love and peace. Even if the world is crashing all around us, we can experience his peace within in knowing that he has all things under his control.

Yet, there are times in this life when the Lord will deliver us from certain circumstances, or he will prevent an enemy from coming against us, and he will rescue us out of difficult situations. I have experienced him doing that in my life. Yet, other times he has left me in such circumstances for his purposes in order to accomplish his will in my life and in the lives of others. For instance, he will allow the beast to conquer his saints, not that it could have the power to take away our salvation. It can’t. But, this beast will be, and is being allowed to persecute and kill followers of Jesus Christ. Yet, one day Jesus will come with vengeance, and he will save us from this beast, and he will take us from this earth to be with him forever, and then our salvation will be complete.

Yet, I see another way in which he will and is doing this right now. The church, in particular here in America, which is what I know, has largely been under a cloud of deception for some time now. Many who profess to know Jesus have become followers of man over followers of God. They have forsaken the straight and narrow to go the broad way of a false gospel. They have allowed the world to be brought into the church, and have put up with false teaching which tickles itching ears. They have become worldly and have forsaken their first love. Jesus is not their Lord, not in practice. Yet, their eyes are blinded to the truth. So, the Lord will judge his adulterous church in order to open blinded eyes, and in that way he will deliver them from deception and will bring them into the light of his truth, so they can be saved and/or so the church can be revived and restored to proper fellowship with God.

Blinded Eyes Open (vv. 5-6)

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened
And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.
Then the lame will leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy.
For waters will break forth in the wilderness
And streams in the Arabah.

So, in what way is the church being deceived? It has happened so gradually and over a long period of time, so it is difficult to pinpoint exactly when this began. I became aware of it in the year 2000, I believe, though I certainly saw problems in the church many years prior to that in relation to following the teachings of humans over the scriptures, with watered-down gospel presentations, and with Christians behaving and thinking more like the world than like Christ, myself included for a period of time.

In the year 2000, though, I saw how this was orchestrated on a national (and world, perhaps) level and across denominations. No matter the denomination, it seemed, so many church congregations were following the same teaching from the same source. They would each claim to have had a unique vision for their church fellowship, but the pattern for it all came from higher up, somewhere even higher than denominational leaders, for this had filtered down to these leaders who then taught it to their pastors who then taught it to their people. Somewhere between then and now I came to realize that this was a global effort to demoralize the gospel, or faith in the gospel, and to lead the church into becoming followers of humans over followers of God, and to bring the world into the church so that the church became just like the world, and it worked, though not for every congregation.

Even denominations which use to talk about sin, repentance, judgment and damnation began to change their tone and their terminology. Sin was now “messed up.” And, repentance was now taboo, i.e. the church is being taught that God does not require repentance or obedience, but that all we need to do is “believe,” although that belief seems to be more of an intellectual assent or an emotional decision or even just a religion, but not a heart transformation of the Spirit of God in new birth where we are crucified with Christ in death to sin, and where we are resurrected with Christ to new lives, “created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” They are not being taught that faith in Jesus Christ means death to sin and living to righteousness (1 Pet. 2:24), but they are being instructed that once we “believe,” we can sin as much as we want and still have our ticket into heaven.

So, through judgment, God will open the blinded eyes and deaf ears of those who not only have been deceived, and who have bought into this false gospel (false grace), but of those who have also closed their eyes and ears to the truth, and have refused to even listen to the truth and to consider it. The masks of deception will be off, and they will be able to see what they were not able or were not willing to see before, and they will be humbled before God, and will repent of their sins, and will discard their idols and will turn from their wicked ways. They will acknowledge God as their Only God and Savior, and will humbly submit to his will for their lives, and will walk now, no longer according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (See: Ro. 8:1-14).

Highway of Holiness (vv. 8-10)

A highway will be there, a roadway,
And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for him who walks that way,
And fools will not wander on it.
No lion will be there,
Nor will any vicious beast go up on it;
These will not be found there.
But the redeemed will walk there,
And the ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
With everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will find gladness and joy,
And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

God has called his church to be holy. “Holy” means set apart (unlike; different) from the world, because we are becoming like Christ. God’s grace to us is not a free license to continue in sin, but it is freedom from slavery to sin and freedom to become slaves (servants) of righteousness (See: Ro. 6). His grace, which brings salvation, teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions and desires, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives while we wait for Christ’s return (Tit. 2:11-14). Jesus died that we might no longer live for ourselves, but for him who gave himself up for us (2 Co. 5:15). He died that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us who walk no longer according to the flesh, but who conduct our lives according to the Spirit (See: Ro. 8:1-14). Jesus said that his sheep (followers) know his voice, they listen to him, and they follow (obey) him. True faith in Jesus Christ means death to sin and living to righteousness, all in the power and working of the Spirit of God within us, as we yield to the Lordship of Christ in our lives.

One day Jesus is coming back for his bride, his saints, to take us to be with him forever. At that time we will be filled with inexpressible joy that will rival any joy we have known while we have lived on this earth. Jesus will wipe every tear from our eyes, and we will no longer know pain, sorrow and sadness. Truly there will be no sin there, so we will no longer be attacked by Satan and his hordes, nor will we be tempted to sin, or be persecuted for our faith in Jesus Christ. All that will be gone. We will be in perfect relationship with our Lord without pain, suffering, grief, sadness or temptation to sin. Won’t that be wonderful?

Yet, in the meanwhile we can know joy, peace, assurance, courage, strength and perseverance even in the face of tremendous suffering and persecution for our faith. We just need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, and follow him wherever he leads us. He will never leave us or forsake us. He will deliver us from fear and from the temptation to give up and to give in to the enemy. He will comfort and protect us spiritually from all evil which will threaten to undo us. And, he will show us the way we should go so that we can walk in his ways and in his truth, and can know the peace of being in the center of his perfect will.

I Will Lift My Eyes / An Original Work / December 12, 2012

Based off Psalms 121-125

I will lift my eyes to my Lord Most High.
My help comes from Him, who saved me from sin.
He will not let your foot slip, and He who watches will not sleep.
Our Lord watches over you, and your life He will keep.
I will lift my eyes to my Lord Most High.
My help comes from Him, who saved me from sin.
I give thanks to Him.

I will lift my eyes to my God in heav’n.
I look to the Lord. My sins, He’s forgiv’n.
Because of His great love for us, He made us alive with Christ.
Through the kindness of our Savior, He gave us new life.
I will lift my eyes to my God in heav’n.
I look to the Lord. My sins, He’s forgiv’n;
My home, now in heav’n.

Praise be to the Lord, who is on our side.
Our help found in Him. He gives peace within.
Those who trust will ne’er be shaken. God will supply all we need.
Our Lord has done great things for us. He’s our friend, indeed!
Praise be to the Lord, who is on our side.
Our help found in Him. He gives peace within.
I can count on Him.

Hear My Voice

A Psalm of David: “The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?”

When we receive Jesus Christ into our hearts and lives to be Savior and Lord of our lives, we should understand that he is absolutely in control of our destiny. Nothing will happen to us but he has allowed it, and he has allowed it for a purpose in our lives, and for his glory. It does not mean we will not ever feel fear (the emotion), but that we have no reason to ever give way to fear to where we allow it to control our lives and our choices in life. Jesus may not rescue us from our circumstances, but he will always be there to bring us safely (spiritually) through them.

He asks me to be of courage;
To be strong and to take heart,
Patiently as I wait for Him,
And from Him to ne’er depart.

West Over

Wednesday, September 23, 2015, 4:18 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Trust Him.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 33:1-2 (NASB).

He is Treacherous (v. 1)

Woe to you, O destroyer,
While you were not destroyed;
And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him.
As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed;
As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you.

President Obama (New World Order) served as host to Pope Francis today at the White House. The Lord Jesus had me read several news stories about this event in which he gave me an understanding of what is really going on here. This is war, and it is war against the church, i.e. against true followers of Jesus Christ. The Pope (New World Order) has been given entry into our nation to make war against the church. Yet, Obama and the Pope both speak in coded language, so one must decipher the code to truly understand what their message is, though some of it is quite clear. Rather than take these news stories and what these men say at face value, we must prayerfully discern the hidden meanings, and the somewhat hidden agenda of them all, which is the agenda of the N.W.O. “Beast.”

I also read an article about the upcoming visit of President Xi Jinping of China (on Friday) and a story about the refugee crisis now hitting the European Union. This is all New World Order, and all these stories are about the taking down of the sovereign nations of the world and war against the church, the body of Christ, the saints of God. A gigantic spear (N.W.O.) is coming against us to pierce and to strike, to push by force, and to impose the acceptance of this New World Order upon the people of the world. It goes back to the founding fathers of our nation and the foundation upon which they built this nation, which was freemasonry and the plan to one day bring the entire world under the rule of one global government, which is the all-seeing eye which sits atop the pyramid on the Great Seal of the USA, i.e. the capstone which has yet to be put in place, but we are getting much closer to that time.

Both the visit of the Pope and that of President Xi Jinping to the USA were described as a “historical aberration” (Ref. 1), which can be “a deviation from moral standard or normal state,” (M-W), which is exactly what this is about. I found it interesting that President Xi Jinping of China is visiting the US on Friday during the time in which the Pope is still here, and that the Pope’s visit to the White House was described as being like “Black Friday,” a reference to the day after Thanksgiving when there is a huge rush at department stores. When I think of “black Friday” (Ref. 2), though, I think of what we call “Good Friday,” which is the day Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. All of this fanfare that is going on right now is about putting Jesus to death again, i.e. it is about war against followers of Jesus Christ, Christ’s messengers, and it is war against the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This first article (Ref. 1) mentioned that the crowd was headed on foot toward the WH and the “Ellipse.” I was unfamiliar with that term, so I looked up its meaning. It means “a shape that resembles a flattened circle” (M-W). When I think of circle, I think of the world. I looked up “flattened,” and it means “to knock down” (dictionary.com), such as in knocking down an opponent in a boxing match. This is where we are headed as a nation, to being knocked down (taken down) by our opponent, the N.W.O. “Beast.” There will be no more competition. All will conform, cooperate and unify with the N.W.O. government and one-world religion, or they will pay the consequences for their unwillingness to cooperate. These threats have been voiced numerous times by Obama and now by the pope, too.

With regard to the news story about Xi Jinping (Ref. 3), China is New World Order. It is one of the permanent 5 members of the UN Security Council, which serves as the police force or the Sanhedrin of the UN/N.W.O. (US, UK, France, China, Russia plus Germany). So, when we read news stories about relations between these countries, we need to read them prayerfully, asking the Lord to show us what is true and what is false, because so much of what we read in the news is false (lies, fabrications). This story suggests tensions between the US and China which could escalate into war, which could bring about disaster to both countries and to the world as a whole. I believe that is what is intended, i.e. war and disaster throughout the world in order to bring in the rule of the beast. China is part of this spear that is being thrust through the governments and the church in the world. This is about reforming the world and the church to the New World Order “Beast.”

Our government has opened the door wide for our opponents to come in and to take us down. The goal is that we all look the same, i.e. to bring us all under a communist rule. I believe the US is going to face another “9/11,” only this time of much greater magnitude, and that which will definitely take us down as a nation and will put us on an even playing field with other nations. No nation will escape. Leaders of nations who have already bowed to the N.W.O. have agreed to hand their nations and their people over to this one-world order, and thus they will not protect us, but have invited our enemies within our borders to take us out. This is an inside job, just like 9/11 was. And, the saints of God in America will come under severe persecution like most of us have never known before.

Prayerfully pay attention to the language in these news articles, because the Main Stream Media (MSM) is government controlled, and they speak in coded language, too, but it can be deciphered through prayer and spiritual discernment. The Pope (N.W.O.) is preaching a social gospel, and not the gospel of Jesus Christ. His message is beyond just ecumenical. His message is the same as that of the beast, whom he serves, and its purpose is to destroy Christianity, i.e. as taught by Jesus and his NT apostles, and to move all people in the direction of unity of faith, which includes tolerance of all faiths and a cessation of preaching the gospel of Christ and trying to lead people to salvation through Christ alone. In other words, the pope is anti-christ. He is opposed to messages about sin, repentance and damnation, for he wants to make all people believe they are going to heaven.

On the outside, the pope looks good. He sounds like he really cares about the people of this world. He has the appearance of a lamb, though, but speaks like a dragon. He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He is teaching a social gospel, which is not the true gospel of salvation. He says what the itching ears of people want to hear, but they are being deceived. But, he can’t be trusted. The pope’s visit to the USA is being called a “new encounter,” and Xi Jinping is calling for a “new model” in US-China relationships. What this means is a “new world order,” which means death to America. The Lord Jesus was showing me that what this means for the USA is that the West is Over (done with), i.e. we are on a path to destruction and there is no turning back. We will never again be the nation we thought we once were. We, who have destroyed, will be destroyed, and then God will destroy the one who destroys us one day (in a short period of time once we have been taken down).

Lord, Be Gracious (v. 2)

O Lord, be gracious to us; we have waited for You.
Be their strength every morning,
Our salvation also in the time of distress.

If you read the book of Isaiah you will see many parallels between this book and the book of Revelation. Prophecies concerning Jesus Christ, the messianic age, the church (the saints of God), Christ’s crucifixion for our sins, his coming again and his millennial reign are scattered all throughout the book of Isaiah. In context, many of these prophecies concerning judgments of God on his people for the purpose to bring God’s people out of living in spiritual adultery back into proper fellowship with their Lord are concerning these last days or else they have dual fulfillment of both then and in the final days before Christ’s return. As well, if you read Revelation, you will see that the entire book was written to the church and is for the church, and that it begins with letters to the church, some of which were for the saints who were being faithful to the Lord, to encourage them, but many for the adulterous and idolatrous church, confronting them with their sins, warning of divine judgment and calling them to repentance.

Notice that these were not warnings to the sinful world, but to the church, for judgment begins with the church (the house of God). The church is being presently judged, and it is for the purpose to bring the wayward back into fellowship with their Lord, i.e. to revive the church, which is what we need. The church in the west is in such a sad state of affairs and it is continuing to get worse. We need Jesus to rescue the church from this veil of deception which is covering their eyes so that they cannot see the truth, in order that they will be brought back into the light. It is through judgment that the eyes of the blind will be opened. The church will then reject this “international delight,” which has been passing itself off as the gospel, which tells people what their itching ears want to hear. They will repent of their sins of idolatry and spiritual adultery, will forsake their idols, and will follow Jesus Christ in surrender to his will for their lives. Amen! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Jesus Christ said that if anyone wants to come after him, we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin and self) and follow (obey) Jesus. He said if we hold on to our old lives (of living for sin and self), we will lose them for eternity, but if we lose our lives (die with Christ to sin), we will gain eternal life (Lu. 9:23-25). Jesus died, not just so we could go to heaven when we die. He died that we might die to sin and live to righteousness (1 Pet. 2:24). He died that we might no longer live to please ourselves, but that we might live for him who gave his life for us (2 Co. 5:15). And, Jesus died that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us who conduct our lives no longer after the sinful flesh, but who walk (live) according to (in agreement with) the Spirit (Ro. 8:1-14). This is the truth of the gospel of our salvation. We must die with Christ to sin if we want to live with Christ now and for eternity (Ro. 6:1-23; Eph. 4:17-24; Tit. 2:11-14).

As well, if you are now being persecuted for your faith in Jesus Christ, and for your witness for him and for his gospel of salvation, know that you are not alone. There are many throughout this world who are suffering greatly for their faith and testimonies for Jesus Christ and for his gospel. Know also that our Lord will never leave you or forsake you. He will give us all we need to endure this time of difficulty, and he will bring us safely into our heavenly home. We just need to keep trusting him, believing that in all things God works for good for those of us who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Ro. 8:28). In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loves us (Ro. 8:37). So, hang in there, don’t be afraid, and keep leaning on Jesus’ everlasting arms.

Trust Him / An Original Work / August 15, 2012

Based off Psalm 27:14

Wait for the Lord; be of courage;
Be strong and take heart today.
Do not fear when foes attack you.
Trust in God always.
He will rescue you in times
Of trouble and distress,
He’ll comfort you in all ways
As you trust Him with your life today.
Trust in Him always.

God is with you; He’ll not leave you.
You can always count on Him.
He will fulfill all He promised
Before you began.
His word teaches you
All that you need for this life.
Let Him lead you. Open your heart;
Let his truth envelope you today.
Listen and obey.

Love your Lord God; follow Jesus.
Repent of your sins today.
Make Him your Lord and your master;
Trust Him and obey.
Follow Him where’er He leads you
In His service; be His witness,
Telling others about Jesus’
Price that He did pay
For your sins always.

The Peace of Christ

The Lord Jesus was speaking to my heart concerning letting the peace of Christ rule in my heart, and to think about the things above, and not to dwell on the cares of this world.

I think sometimes the cares of this world can begin to weigh us down, and they can even serve as a distraction from our pure devotion to our Lord. Worry can begin to set in as we get our focus off of Christ and on to our circumstances. So, we need to redirect our attention away from the waves which are tossing about us, and we need to get our eyes back on Jesus. Then his peace can begin to permeate our beings and the cares of this life will begin to dim by comparison. He tells us in his word to cast our burdens upon him, because he cares for us, and we are to take his yoke upon us, for his burden is light, because he is the one who carries the weight of it for us.

The Peace of Christ / An Original Work / October 31, 2011

Based off of Col. 3:1-17; Eph. 5:19-20

Let the word of Christ dwell in you,
As you teach with all wisdom,
Teaching one another to not
Think on earthly things;
Think instead on things above,
Where Christ sits with God, in love,
Saving us from all of our sins,
Cleansing us; made new within.

Let the peace of Christ rule your hearts,
As you sing songs unto Him;
Speak to one another with psalms,
Hymns, and spir’tual songs;
Always giving thanks to God,
In the name of Christ, His Son,
Who gave His life up for us all,
And gave us eternal life.

Let the love of Christ within you
Rule in your hearts; grace within,
Purifying you from your sin,
Make you whole within.
Forgive as the Lord forgave.
Show His kindness ev’ry day.
In word or deed, whate’er you do,
Glory give to Jesus Christ.

Matters of Faith

Monday, September 21, 2015, 7:23 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “My Jesus, My Savior.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 30 (select NASB).

Rebellious Children (vv. 1-5)

“Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord,
“Who execute a plan, but not Mine,
And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit,
In order to add sin to sin;
Who proceed down to Egypt
Without consulting Me,
To take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh
And to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!
“Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shame
And the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation.
“For their princes are at Zoan
And their ambassadors arrive at Hanes.
“Everyone will be ashamed because of a people who cannot profit them,
Who are not for help or profit, but for shame and also for reproach.”

The Lord Jesus led me to read several news stories. Three of them were concerning Pope Francis, who is scheduled to arrive in the United States today (Tuesday). The other three had to do with a meeting between Obama and Xi Jinping of China, Scott Walker exiting the presidential race, and political upheaval in Burkina Faso. Via the reading of these news stories, the Lord helped me to see a practical application of this passage of scripture to our world and church today. I believe that the “rebellious children” today are Christians (the church) who have strayed from their pure devotion to Christ and who have made alliances with this sinful world via partnering with an evil government and with man-made religion, i.e. by bringing the world of sin into the church and by embracing liberalism and libertinism in place of the truths of God’s Word in order to “make nice” with this sinful world.

The result of this disobedience to God in looking to humans and government instead of looking to the Lord and to his Word for guidance and direction is that this trust in humans, in government, and in human-based religion is coming back to bite the church. The message coming from both Barack Obama and Pope Francis, both of whom are united voices for the New World Order, is one of a strategy to remove (do away with) the old order of sovereign government and the old order of the Christian faith to make way for a new way of government and religion, i.e. for a one-world tyrannical government and all-inclusive religion which emphasizes tolerance and unity of all faiths.

With regard to the Pope, in particular, many people throughout the world worship him as though he is God, and so they depend on his voice to carry (lead) them in their faith, rather than depending on the Lord, and this will be to their shame, because the Pope and Obama are carrying the church’s faith to extinction (out with the old) so that out of the ashes of the old church the Phoenix (New World Order) can rise to the top and take power. In fact, Pope Francis is presented as one who speaks for God and is infallible with regard to matters of the faith (See: Politics of Pope). This new one-world religion sounds a whole lot like a revival of an old religion, such as the religion of freemasonry and the Age of Enlightenment. The Pope’s visit to America is supposed to be like a “shot in the arm” (See: Pope’s outreach to Cuba) for the church, i.e. like a gunshot to the power of the cross of Christ or like a vaccine to increase immunity to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to pave the way for the new order of the ages, both in the church (institutional) and in government.

Obama is a powerful voice, as well, convincing sovereign nations that they must reform and transform to the New World Order. The N.W.O. has been going throughout the world for several years now conquering nations and overthrowing governments, confiscating property and natural resources, and killing at will innocent civilians and Christians, while casting the blame on “terrorists” whom they have created and supported. The U.S. government has been leading the charge in this, like the harlot who rides the beast. Many nations throughout the world have surrendered to the Elite of this world (the New World Order) and have now come under its rule and control. Now the New World Order is in the USA working to bring our nation down and into submission to the N.W.O.’s tyrannical government and one-world religion. I believe the pope’s visit is part of that plan to reform and to transform the church away from the gospel of Jesus Christ to uniting with a false religion of tolerance and preaching only feel-good messages that do not confront sin, but which lie to people.

Speak Pleasant Words (vv. 9-11)

For this is a rebellious people, false sons,
Sons who refuse to listen
To the instruction of the Lord;
Who say to the seers, “You must not see visions”;
And to the prophets, “You must not prophesy to us what is right,
Speak to us pleasant words,
Prophesy illusions.
“Get out of the way, turn aside from the path,
Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”

Scott Walker, in exiting the presidential race, encouraged some of his opponents to unite with him in also dropping out of the race in order to “make way for a singular positive voice” to lead them (See: Scott Walker quits presidential race). He didn’t say who that voice was, but it sounded a whole lot like the voice of the Pope the way he described the voice. The Lord was showing me that this voice is the voice of the New World Order which is why it is “singular.” It will be the only voice allowed so that there will be no need for any other voices, i.e. no independent sovereign nations and no singular religion that sets itself apart from other religions and claims to be the one and only true faith and way to God. This “singular positive voice” focuses on, at least in outward appearance, pleasant words and illusions, and on how to make the world a better place where all people live together in unity. It ignores such words as “sin,” “repentance,” “obedience,” and submission to the cross of Christ in favor of an all-inclusive religion which allows for various ways of thinking and which avoids dogmas (doctrine, codes of belief), i.e. hard and eternal truths.

Pope Francis is a progressive pope. I wanted to understand what this term “progressive” means, so I looked it up. It has to do with change and reform and with encouraging more enlightened or liberal ideas. This led me to look up “Age of Enlightenment.” It was a period of time in history which accentuated reason. It was endorsed in Masonic lodges. It had to do with questioning traditional and foundational religious values, and it leaned more towards tolerance and inclusiveness of all people within the church. It is basically the message being proclaimed loud and clear by Pope Francis and Barack Obama right now, which is that we need to do away with all which divides us as a people in the world, and we all need to come together and unite under a shared belief in tolerance of all religions, and that we can all create our own god, and that we just need to be doers of “good deeds” and be “nice” people. If we hold to the tenets of the Christian faith, then we are tagged as intolerant bigots who must be silenced. They don’t want to hear that faith in Jesus Christ means death to sin and living to righteousness (1 Pet. 2:24; Ro. 8:1-14), but they want to hear that they can continue in sin and still have the promise of eternal life with God in heaven.

In Repentance find Salvation (vv. 15, 18-22)

For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said,

“In repentance and rest you will be saved,
In quietness and trust is your strength.”
But you were not willing…

Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
How blessed are all those who long for Him.
O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you. Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. And you will defile your graven images overlaid with silver, and your molten images plated with gold. You will scatter them as an impure thing, and say to them, “Be gone!”

The rippling effect of the disobedience of God’s people in putting their trust in humans and in man-made religion, instead of trusting in God and in his Word, will be disastrous for the church, yet the Lord longs to be gracious to his church, so he is calling out to the rebellious church to turn from their wicked ways, to forsake their idols, and to put their trust solely in him. Even though he must discipline his wayward church, and he has given and is giving us the bread (or cup) of adversity, when his people cry out to him in repentance, he will be gracious to them and he will restore the wayward back into proper fellowship with him. Then, they will be taught in the ways of the Lord so that they will walk in them.

My Jesus, My Savior / Darlene Zschech

My Jesus, My Saviour,
Lord there is no one like you,
All of my days, I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love.

My comfort, my shelter,
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You…
